- 29-year-old Alexis Ware was last seen around 7:30 p.m. at a 7-Eleven off Highway 29 in Anderson, South Carolina on January 30, 2022. Calls to her phone went directly to voicemail after that. On February 1, Alexis was officially reported missing.
Alexis’s mother, Alberta-Gray Simpkins, and half-brother, Travis Ware, speak with Dateline’s Andrea Canning about the disappearance. Alexis was last seen wearing a black bonnet, a black jacket with a purple shirt, blue jeans, and black Crocs. Alexis has multiple tattoos and dimple piercings. She has long black hair and brown eyes, is about 5’6” and weighs around 215 lbs. This is such a sad case that needs to be solved like yesterday…when I first heard this story I said someone is involved with this …why would the surveillance at 7-11 show her with the same clothes on that was in the ring cam video that was days before….her mother said earlier that day she made herself up with makeup and all and yet she was seen on the 7-11 surveillance with sweat pants on and a hair bonnet…there are so many inconsistencies in this whole story from day one….GOD BLESS THESE CHILDREN PLEASE it’s not fair to Alexis or her children…JUSTICE FOR ALL INVOLVED 🙏🙏❤️❤️ #bringlexhome

Some text messages on her phone was deleted for what I’ve heard, according to detectives.
She committed suicide OR she’s hiding. I don’t think no foul play at all with all the evidence.

This girl either committed suicide or ran away. There can’t be foul play with all this key information. She was going through mental troubles and had it all planned out. That’s why she told that girl she would give her all her belongings a few days prior.

This is deeper than people think. From my understanding she was doing a lot and these things caught up. The outside presences (with or without knowing) are a big component. This woman knows what was going on

@treybaybie1526 just from knowing multiple people who knew her in different ways it seems she was doing a lot of different things that most weren't privy to exactly what her plans were. I can't confirm nor deny information I was given but it seems she was dealing with things and people that lead to her making moves covertly. Maybe someone caught wind of this and moved a step ahead
Maybe all you was in delving in she a nervous breakdown and left on her own you never know what's really going on in people's head

This is very sad. I can't even go to bed. She is a beautiful girl and trafficking is everywhere. they never found her body. I think she still alive. they gone eventually find this sister. I think about shit like this all the time while I am out here in this desert so far from Louisiana. I only have me and my son here and I think about someone taking me from my son so I am always cautious. I pray if something should ever happen to me, my baby never stop searching. nothing but death will keep me from him. I was watching this like there is no way this young lady would leave her kids, yet alone losing one of her babies. Her hair was on point and more than anything she had a mom who adored her. This hurts. I pray they find her. She is probably somewhere right under they nose. OMG I pray she safe. I will forever keep this one in my prayers. In Jesus name

I hope they find her alive so her babies can have their mommy back. It was definitely sum Alexis didn’t want to worry her family about. Whoever that was kept calling her must have said something. Could be why she sent her kids off so they wouldn’t be harmed. So scary. I def think TJ knows more. He alluded to her being involved in the occult in one of his lives. Which I found strange.
If she felt she was being followed and strange cslls why not tell your mother what's going on something just not Right

Oh and people have got to stop lying trying to make the story sound more impactful. The mother totally made up that conversation that she supposedly had with her daughter about "Lord forbide that that something happens to me while I have my kids in the car", that conversation never happened and was only said as a way to attempt to make sense of why she pulled off as she did. She pulled off as she did because she had gotten what she needed which was someone to watch her children and gas so that she could get to where she was really intending to go which was to see whoever it was that lived or were at/in those apartments.
Also, I understand why they tried to play the social media thing the way that they did but anyone with an ounce of commonsense knows that attention is a hell of a drug and the women who are consumed with social media welcome the attention from the creeps too as long as it is accompanied by a like, a follow and/or a subscription. We have to stop trying to paint people as an angel AFTER their questionable behavior leads to something bad happening.

It is obvious that she was leading a secret life and had been dealing with someone who no one else knew about. She put the children in their father's car and sped off because she was going to meet him and she needed the gas money to do it which was the other reason for meeting up with the children's father.
But you gotta also think if she was to be killed and chased afterwards he was the only one that knew her last where abouts.Maybe he got jealous and had her set up
Why weren't traffic camera's reviewed to show where she drove to or to track her movements for the remainder of the day? police seem to pick & choose when to use certain resources in certain cases...

It's been two years. It's time for Alexis to be found. I believe she was living a double life and whatever she was doing caught up to her.

The sheriff department needs to investigate the last person she was talking to outside of the relationship.The mom was not aware that she was coming to the house that day.If anything him being able to meet her at a specific location out her at a place to be easy followed.Maybe he caught wind she was seeing other guys or another guy when she would drop the kids off.He may have had someone follow her and have her killed because he got jealous....he allegedly asked her where sje was going?there may have been a argumentative response between that in which he already knew she was meeting up with someone.And if it was logging season the perpetrator could be a log worker.She came with a change of clothes .And maybe she literally just left to lead another life and met someone there where the car was left.Whoever she went to meet was obviously financially supporting her to open a clothing store and to get alot of things she wanted.

Property in Chester SC not too far from McCormick might be a long shot but definitely worth looking at. Praying for the family and all who love her. Such a sad story someone knows something and I agree with the mother she knew there was danger and separated herself from the children. Watching praying and hoping for answers to help find Alexis Ware.

She either offed herself or ran away. I don’t believe there’s any foul play or any shady business by all the facts! If something happened to her why would she offer to give that girl all her belongings days prior and said she’s exhausted. It sounds like she doesn’t want to be found.
