- 52-year-old Dee Ann Warner was last seen at the home she shared with her husband in Franklin Township, Michigan on April 25, 2021. That Sunday, one of Dee’s daughters, Rikkell Bock, stopped by her mother’s house with her husband and daughter around 9:00 a.m., but Dee was nowhere to be found. They reported her missing that day.
Rikkell, Dee’s brother Gregg, and private investigator Billy Little talk with Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz. The Michigan State police are continuing to follow leads and ask anyone with information to contact the MSP Monroe Post at 734-242-3500.

The press should be talking about the incompetence and conflict of interest by the detective assigned by the sheriffs department and the failure to recognize early on that this was likely a homicide and not a missing person case. Inadequate searches, failure to follow leads, disclosure of information to the prime suspects family, a close interpersonal relationship with that family. The elected Sheriffs’ failure to ask for outside manpower, failure to hold his Detective accountable for his incompetence, and general lack of experience and expertise in complex criminal investigations. Only after extreme public pressure did this investigation get turned over to the state police who were handed a turd they were expected to polish. This is the second “no body homicide” in Lenawee county that has not been brought to fruition. The county needs a new Sheriff that can update and modernize this agency.

You can't cite one thing law enforcement did wrong. They can't just drop everything and go searching for missing adults when there's no probable cause they are in any danger and/of harming themselves or others and not the family or the defense atty/PI the family hired ever said LE dropped the ball after they'd reported her missing.
As soon as she was reported missing, LE investigated the home CCTV, conducted ground/air searches as well as looking into her SM and her medical records.
Find an alternative # to call in an emergency so you don't clog up the system and waste police resources and taxpayers money since you've deduced this constitutes incompetence on the part of law enforcement. You're welcome.

But her body has never been found! I’m new to this case. Just started watching the trial of her husband she was married to when she went missing! And someone in the comments stated there was a Dateline video about her. I wonder if he buried her somewhere on that 3,000 acres they owned?! Edit- he had also placed a tracker underneath her Hummer.

I’ve been watching the trial. Read a comment there that there is this Dateline episode. I believe he’s guilty and buried her body in the woods. He had put a tracker on her Hummer. She’s never been found.😢😢

I cannot believe that incompetent police dept. did not get a warrant to search the blogs. including the home. They should have searched crawl spaces, basements & attics. Also why didn't they check the black boxes on the vehicles?
As a person who lives in the county, the incompetence is real. I hate it here. The court does what they want, there is no communication, important documents go missing and nothing is done about it, and it's extremely corrupt. The county takes advantage of people who don't know their rights, and the lawyers are only about how much money they can get out of you.

I've heard the criticism about how law enforcement didn't work well with the private detective. To some extent LE in the county is backwards. It sure is amazing the number of individuals that drive without a driver's license in the county.
The sheriff completely dropped the ball on this case here in lenawee we call it anyway county because anything can happen here. Come on vacation and leave on probation. They denied this interview for a reason because their a fucking joke. Own up to your MAJOR fuck ups
