I was undiagnosed with bipolar disorder for the first 40 years of my life, was in court several times, always behaved, even dressed smartly for my appearances. ADHD is no excuse for such behaviour.
In another court appearance she said they diagnosed her with bipolar disorder but she didn't agree and diagnosed herself with adhd lmao
Yes yes yes thank you, as someone diagnosed with bpd later in life (at one point misdiagnosed with schizophrenia during a manic episode) and I hate when people use it as an excuse to behave horribly. My husband & bestfriend are the only ones who know my diagnosis & the years I spent in therapy with mental hospitals stays. I understand the struggle, can’t understand the entitlement
But as you guys may know, the person with mental illness is sometimes the last to know. For example ost schizophrenics will say they are not schizophrenic if they're not on medication- that is part of their magic brain giving them inaccurate information with reality. When they are in the depths of it, impulsiveness takes over. Also she sounded a little grandiose. I thought the judge was so kind. I think she's probably seen it before. But it is so hard to bite your tongue.
my grandson has adhd and when you think they will act right they dont and do not understand sometimes proper behavior its is different to each person
I was going to say something similar...You're absolutely 💯 percent right...she is simply a misbehaved entitled spoiled *itch
Just put her in jail. She is a danger to society.
I have ADHD and went several years unmedicated and I was able to pay bills have a home and car. her behavior totally unacceptable.
👍
Right?? My husband has severe adhd and would never act like this in court. He would probably fidget the entire time tho lol. Having adhd doesn't make you mentally deficient 🤦🏻♀️
Yep I have ADHD and it's hard but I'm def not like this I work and study. This lady is out of control.
@@SilverLady52 my husband too. He’d be fidgeting all over the place but NEVER have I seen him behave this inappropriately and out of control. Can you even imagine?!?!
There are different levels of add but there ARE also those who would use it as an excuse
the guy in the hammock is the definition of “the truth will set you free”
It's absolutely unbelievable that people think they can speak to anyone like that . . . Let alone a judge! I wish she would have revoked her and sent officers to get her right then.
👍
Me too, justsayin!
What's unbelievable, is they always claim it's a mental health issue; when the most outrageous are usually people high on meth or other drugs, and know if they go to jail, they'll be suffering....or, as in this case, it's a spoiled, entitled brat, issue! She was pushing it as far as she did, because no one has ever made her have consequences for her own actions!
Agreed, and were I the judge, I would have revoked her probation, sent officers to arrest her immediately and add extra time to her original 6 month sentence. It's worth noting the original charge was for domestic battery of which she was found guilty. As someone with significant mental health issues, I don't quite buy the naïve act from her and reject mental health as an excuse in this case. She seems to be an extremely unpleasant person who deserves the jail time.
This is a very sweet story from my childhood in my “Mayberry” type school with so many salt of the earth kind of people in our rural small town. The Coca-Cola company gave our elementary school free red rulers for each student. These is what was printed on the rulers- The Golden Rule, Do Unto Others as You Would Have Others Do Unto You. If people would live by this, life wouldn’t be so complicated for so many like this chic!!
I suffer from mental illness, like been involuntarily committed mentally ill
and I have NEVER treated someone the way this girl did, let alone a judge who held my fate in her hands. This was insane to watch.
Her problems are not mental illness. That's not the problem. Best wishes in your recovery.
Hope you're doing okay maclemme 🙏
Meclemme thank you for sharing! MI still has a big stigma despite education & acceptance In last 20 years.
Seems like everyone today has a mental health excuse
@@ihateutube1143 millions suffer from mental illness, but I get your point I think.
People behave this way because they’re allowed to, period. She should have had the book thrown at her. An ADHD diagnosis is not an excuse for this kind of behavior.
Probably ocd and other stuff as well.
Agree 💯
Zoom has brought out the worst in ppl when it comes to Court room Etiquette, dress and just over all appearance.
@@skurdibbles7913
Passive aggressiveness , BPD Idgof lifetime award.
So true.
Why are people like Chelsea allowed to function freely in society? They are enabled and are actually "privileged". So many questions after witnessing this. What happens in other countries when people can't control their behavior in front of Justice? This young lady walking around freely is just a tragedy waiting to happen.
White privilege.
She is assisted by the boyfriend
@@BTJ10they are both a danger
@@annacarter6559 Exactly
And, she votes!
I can't believe this woman of all people committed domestic abuse. She's so pleasant and amiable.
You're being facetious, yes?
@@bethewalt7385 I'm pretty sure 🙃
@@bethewalt7385 do you seriously have to ask 😂
Most abusers are around other people
Nice around other people
The diffence between how she was treated vs the chilled out honest guy were treated really shows how important showing respect is.
He showed no respect he was laying on a hammock you cant do that on a zoom court, lmao
My boy Billy Jack Daniels knows how to game the system. He's gonna go on at 7pm Friday and get out before noon, turning 5 days into 4.5 😎
I've watched this with you all a couple of times and I get chills every time Mike says, "it gets worse"
Oh my god, the language, the attitude, the aggression!
Holy moly….. I am in total shock at the disrespect 😑
Amazing to have Mike & Debbie together!
Love from Scotland ❤🏴
@Thaddeus Cosse you’re not wrong 🙄
Also - Thaddeus? Fabulous name 💜
I would have told this 'woman' that I am going to mute her and go ahead with taking relevant actions. Then I would talk to her lawyer to make sure all is understood and tell him to relate the info to her.
👍
I think Chelsea needs a hammock. The hammock has been scientifically proven to cure ADHD bitch syndrome.
Wish I could go there. Great scenery and I can cope with the occasional fog. Would love to try the food. Any local dishes you like that I could try the recipes of?
Let us all aspire to live more like Billy Jack Daniels. His is a level of chill we desperately need more of.
🤩🙌
Seems to be laid back sippin on some gin and juice, lol.
Bill is the main character of this whole story.😂
Billy is so rad
I’m diagnosed schizophrenic and I completed a pretrial diversion program years ago. I NEVER talked to the judge or ANYONE how she’s talking to the court. Mental illness is NO excuse to treat people like crap! PERIOD!
I guess you're the standard by which everyone with mental illness should be judged.
Ryan is so chill, it’s time people return to court they respect the court when in person. Zoom should only be available in special circumstances
Around the 32 minute mark I honestly thought the Judge was going to look around and say “Am I being PUNKED?”😂❤
Drives me and 100's others nuts, when the judges do not make the people sit still on zoom videos. I thought that was one of the rules of Zoom.
Love your channel!!!!!
Thank you Deborah!
It’s charming that Debbie has no control over her patented eye rolls 😂😂
And I CANNOT IMAGINE being so disrespectful to a judge. OMG. I was on probation, and I was SCARED TO DEATH of my judge. Wow..
My god, I almost rolled my Jeep while SPEEDING to my monthly appointment, because I was running late and so scared of the punishment!! 🤦🏼♀️🤣
I think Chelsea is gonna end up in a padded closet wearing one of those funny wind breakers. Thorazine shuffle.
ADHD is such a cop out diagnosis to avoid responsibility
The blatant disrespect for court is beyond unbelievable these days. They should do away with Zoom for criminal cases and make them appear in person and hold them in contempt for ANY and ALL disrespect. Some of these people have gotten too comfortable being able to appear in court from home. I know they are thinking, "if I'm not there, they won't hold me in contempt". Even some attorneys have gotten too relaxed(cigar).
You seem like you like the taste of boots.
As a woman, that chick deserved harsher treatment. I DOUBT she would've gotten those responses if she was a man who acted the same way in court, almost regardless of their mental health record. F that lady and I truly hope her significant other gets tf outta there before it gets worse for them.
Agreed a man would be locked up every time.
She must be related to trump with that mouth!
That's a very good point.
@@LawTalkWithMike Since we all know that is true, I’m curious, as a lawyer, how do you square that in the legal field when it’s so blatantly unbalanced? I’m sure if you saw a male client act something like this (but not as bad as this woman) and it got all thrown at him, with appropriate consequences….. You would want to scream at the judge “that’s not right because…”, but truly you couldn’t. It must drive you nuts to witness that I’m sure? How do we change the imbalance for consequences for men vs women? 🤠☮️
Great point
How is Chelsea not being locked up?? I've never seen anyone talk in court and not get locked up. I've seen judges put people in contempt for laughing in court. By the way Debbie Davis is the best part of Law Talk with Mike
Contempt of court shouldn't be used so liberally. I'm not saying the judge would've been wrong to hold her in contempt here, but judges who hold people in contempt for any perceived disrespect are wrong. It's a court room being run by humans. It's not a hall of gods.
This Judge!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I am *SO* impressed by her! Well done! Bravo!!! 💯💯💯💯💯💯
I’d love to see how her case goes. That judge is way nicer then me. I would’ve driven her to court by the way of jail. Can you either tell us the court or keep this on your radar Please?
Phyllis K. Webster, 13th Judicial District Court, Greenwood County, KS
@@vizzini2510 thank you!!!
@@vizzini2510 Thank you very much!
Why can't yanks tell the difference between then and than?
@@lionxwarrior3004 so sue me grammar police. I’d rather get my point across rather than worry about which than or then I use.
"Never interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake."
This judge was wayyyy too nice and tolerated a lot if foolishness in her courtroom!
Yes, but this is rare for judge Bryant. Normally, she would have plastered the walls with her. I'm certain that her leniency was only because of defendant's allegation about mental health issues.
@@Katrina-qs2rlThis is Judge Webster
I love how everyone on Zoom moves closer when she starts going nuts. Their faces are priceless!
I love seeing Debbie Davis on your channel I'd love to hear her take on the great batmobile caper also! What a dumpster fire that trial was.
This was the most fun I've had on a stream probably since we all gathered together to watch Glen Cerio get arrested. Thank you to both of you for spending the time and breaking this down for us. Bonus points for the Debbie Davis eye roll. :-)
Thank You
Also the judge could make an argument that screw all this, she's having her brought in for Contempt! The poor defense attorney is grasping at straws because he knows there's very little he can do with a client who is out of control like this.
The boyfriend just figured out that if she's in JAIL then he's SAFE from her.
Some people’s “mental health issues” might be a drastically low IQ, poor upbringing, and drugs.
*most" people's.... 👍
Plus a complete absence of accountability for themselves while exerting an unreasonable amount of accountability towards every individual they bump into in their miserable lives. Sigh
After dealing with Chelsea, Mr. Billy Daniels is so congenial the Judge will give him whatever he needs!!😅 That Judge has the patience of a Saint!
People who try to *justify* bad behavior as "mental illness" contributes to the stigma around mental health
nah... the stigma is based on the disordered thinking and bad behavior of the mentally ill people themselves, those are actually the very real problems with mental illness...
By definition, an "illness" is a disorder and disordered mental behavior is bad.
Judge Webster is so under appreciated. She tolerates so much attitude from defendants. I'd give her a hefty raise and a dinner out to Nobu. ❤👍⚖️
I wouldn’t. It’s not her job to be nice to them when they disrespect the court. She’s a marshmallow and needs to grow a spine.
@@k.stacey7389 there's nothing written anywhere that judges have to act like they're above everyone else and should hold people in contempt for any perceived slight. There's literally nothing wrong with a patient judge. You're probably just an authoritarian type personality who expects people in places of authority to act like tyrants, for whatever reason.
Judge Webster has actually gotten a little grouchy in the last couple months. Idk if she's going through something or getting tired of the job or what but she's held more people in contempt in the last couple months than she has in the last year I've been watching her.
@@vanessamw1140 I think it's that osteo arthritis in her back and legs. Jmo, agree 👍
I thought when I read, Hammock!, in the title that Blue Bacon would be involved but Debbie Davis is a fantastic surprise. 😁
Defendant: “You’re being childish!”
Also defendant: Proceeds to swear and throw a tantrum on Zoom.
"Friday at 7:00 PM"???
"yes, ma'am!"
Damn Billie! You're gonna miss out on dinner!!! Fool!
32 years old. How has she ever held a job for more than 1 hour?
This was so much fun to see. I just loved the fellow in the hammock!!!
I LOVE judge Websters face expressions when Chelsea talks her B.S.😂
Classic Wild Court Moment! LTWM and one of the reasons I'm proud to be a Michigander, THE Deborah Davis! Bueno!
🤩
Non reporting probation is the court saying “be an adult and stay out of trouble or go to jail.” Reporting probation is the court babysitting you for 6 months. May as well just go to jail.
Love this judge! Let’s see more of her!
🙌
Omg they should have sent an officer for her (Chelsea) NOW while on this hearing. This is absolutely insane
WOW!!! The judge was so incredibly patient with her, I was really expecting her to just send the sheriff and "give her a ride to court"
Darren Peterson: *literally dying*
Billy: *chillin'*
🤩
I've got to learn to be as laid back as Billy Daniels. 😂
I feel for Darren Patterson. That poor man. You know he has the best stories. 😂
What kind of world to we live in, where people don’t know HOW to speak to judges? Dear God…
👍
Where are people taught specifically the rules for speaking to judges during court? Nowhere.
This lady is obviously way over the line though.
There may not be a formal course. But I believe it’s common sense. If you’re taught respect as a child, you surely know how to be respectful in court.
I wonder if some of these folks would act the same way if they appear in person to court instead of Zoom.
@@Claudia-lq3ns Probably not. Courtrooms have bailiffs and jail's just on the other side of the wall.
Judge Webster is like getting called up on the carpet and disciplined by your wise great grandma. She is awesome. I’d rather be anywhere than have her stare me down. Lol
My great grandmother was so terrifying my cousins and I didn’t even dare run around, play or make a sound when we visited her as small children. She would have crushed Chelsea into her plastic carpet runner and put her out with the rest of the trash if she acted like that in her house. The judge practically enabled her garbage behavior, it was disgusting to watch.
I love the part when it got real for her and she shut up 😂😂
🤩
Love the second defendant! He’s been there done that. He has a platter of options and can pick and choose from a menu of punishments 🤣😂🤣
I cannot believe she got exactly what she wanted with an attitude like that if I was a judge I would have thrown her in jail that day and made her wait just for the attitude
I'm telling you, there is a certain race/gender that always gets away with things!
The whole reason for Karens existences is due to this kind of enabling!
@@ElanaVital83 100% a Black woman or man would be under the jail.
This dude in the hammock is fricking KILLING ME 🤣🤣🤣
That woman is a danger to the public....she needs 90 day observation.....PROTECT THE PEOPLE.....
Years ago I had non reporting for a DUI in Michigan due to the location of the offense and where I lived. I did need to urine test twice a month though, so it wasn't like I was off doing whatever I wanted.
Nothing starts my day better than an eye roll from the amazing Debra David.
30:28 Kodi just busting in right in the middle of a hearing "hey there I'm back". This dude is obviously happy to be in court 😂
It's crazy to me how many people just refuse to even speak to their lawyer .
They already know it all. No need for an atty!
I grew up in Newton Kansas and still have family there. Chelsea is a pretty good representation of that town.
Hey Mike, 20 of the 25 jail guards watching this just went on strike. LOL 🤣
😂
Brotha very good video and me and the wife needed a laugh just brilliant 👏🤘
Can Billy take his hammock to the county jail? 😂
Why not😂
@@LawTalkWithMike Billy Jack Daniels is too chill to use any part of a hammock to harm anyone. He would never desecrate the comfy hammock.
😂
The lawyer talked his way into a contempt charge for his client. 😆 🤣 😹
I hope we get to see the next phase of this and any others with this lovely little shy flower. 😂
If there isn't a Jimmy Buffet song about Billy Jack Daniels, there ought to be.
I have dealt with mental health issues and ADD my entire life, and never even ONE time have I ever behaved in such a disrespectful manner in a court or to law enforcement. My daughter has been diagnosed with bipolar, and she is the sweetest and kindest young lady, and would never and could never speak to ANY authority figure that way. I never even had to worry about any of her behavior or whereabouts or choices when she was in high school, or now while she's in college. Acting this way is a choice.
That's because you guys are medicated. This woman is most likely unmedicated and probably even undiagnosed.
@michaelhammond5895 We weren't always medicated. Even at our worst, neither of us would have ever acted this way. Even when our mind is in chaos and we feel hopeless, we CHOOSE how we treat others. However, I do understand feeling hopeless and in pain and acting out because of those feelings--I hope she went back and apologized for her behavior, at the very least.
If anyone deserves time in jail, it is definitely Chelsea 😂
Always love seeing you two together! Thanks for the twofer today. Keep up the great content. 🤗❤️
Amen 👍🏻😁
Love the guy in the hammock watching. Taking it in without a care
When going through a shit time in my life it's so nice to be reminded that at least I'm not acting a damn fool in court
I’m with you.
@@LawTalkWithMike buuuut.....there's always time!?!?!
😂
Wait, wait, wait…. Isn’t she on the hook for DV?? And she’s screeching like a possessed banshee. Cops need to be sent asap to protect the boyfriend.
Good Grief!! She said she has ADD that’s attention disorder! I have ADHD and I’m on meds I have never acted like that! I’m surprised the Judge did not send the Officer to pick her ass up! It kinda looked like she didn’t have a top on at the very end, well I could see her shoulders! Nice to have Debbie with us! This one is a keeper!! Thanks Mike
When she said “My life’s in order” at 12:50…. Me saying out loud, Obviously fucking not if you’re screaming at a judge.
Chelsea wants to go to jail, and she desperately needs some anger management. If I were the person after her I’d go ‘your honor. I just want to emphasize I am not associated with her in any way.’
I bet she'd get the mental health help she needs if she spent some time a good amount of time in jail.😒
Judge, how can you send me to jail against my will? I object
So glad I caught part of this live 😊❤️💐
👍
"Nothing wrong with her that Prozac and a rubber mallet wouldn't cure" 😂
line from a WA film
Ok, as someone who has adhd, I am INSULTED. I would never behave this way medicine or no medicine. These are the people that stigmatize those of us who truly cope daily with adhd or other ND diagnosises.
The utter lack of basic manners and decorum is so gross.
Wow. Put her in front of judge Bryant and see what she gets. Love this judge though.
That would make my day!
@Mike the best part is the 2 cops in Sallyport. The one called the mustache cop over to witness this beauty.
Maybe she needs a 30-day residential attitude adjustment seminar.😾👩🏻⚖
It won't work, she's mentally ill
Oh, and the other 5 put on their riot gear. 😂
It must be so exhilarating to cuss out a judge, hang up and be able to brag about how NOTHING happened to them and they'll do it again, cuz she will, wow.
"Are you going to pay for my ride?"
"Yes, we'll pay a cop to come over and pick you up."
"I'm 32, and you?" Had me dying LOL
Thanks that was so entertaining.
I worked with a person who was and is just like that. Her permanent setting is "obtuse".
Love to see the next court for this one
This court is located where there is a prison that does mental health evaluations of inmates. Maybe she is seeing that in her future.
We can concur things right here .I don't see why I have to come to court
That judge was a heck of a lot nicer than I would have been
My late husband would have loved your program!
This was EVERYTHING! I haven't laughed and been shocked at the same time like this 🤣 Jack was awesome, if only all defendants acted like him and made it that easy. What is the reason Chelsea can't go in front of another judge who would just lock her up right away? I hope you get updates on this case
I'm gonna use that at the next court I attend, "it's just not legit" 😂
