      Yes yes yes thank you, as someone diagnosed with bpd later in life (at one point misdiagnosed with schizophrenia during a manic episode) and I hate when people use it as an excuse to behave horribly. My husband & bestfriend are the only ones who know my diagnosis & the years I spent in therapy with mental hospitals stays. I understand the struggle, can’t understand the entitlement

      But as you guys may know, the person with mental illness is sometimes the last to know. For example ost schizophrenics will say they are not schizophrenic if they're not on medication- that is part of their magic brain giving them inaccurate information with reality. When they are in the depths of it, impulsiveness takes over. Also she sounded a little grandiose. I thought the judge was so kind. I think she's probably seen it before. But it is so hard to bite your tongue.

      What's unbelievable, is they always claim it's a mental health issue; when the most outrageous are usually people high on meth or other drugs, and know if they go to jail, they'll be suffering....or, as in this case, it's a spoiled, entitled brat, issue! She was pushing it as far as she did, because no one has ever made her have consequences for her own actions!

    • @andromedaturnbull3512
      @andromedaturnbull3512 Рік тому +3

      Agreed, and were I the judge, I would have revoked her probation, sent officers to arrest her immediately and add extra time to her original 6 month sentence. It's worth noting the original charge was for domestic battery of which she was found guilty. As someone with significant mental health issues, I don't quite buy the naïve act from her and reject mental health as an excuse in this case. She seems to be an extremely unpleasant person who deserves the jail time.

      This is a very sweet story from my childhood in my “Mayberry” type school with so many salt of the earth kind of people in our rural small town. The Coca-Cola company gave our elementary school free red rulers for each student. These is what was printed on the rulers- The Golden Rule, Do Unto Others as You Would Have Others Do Unto You. If people would live by this, life wouldn’t be so complicated for so many like this chic!!

They should do away with Zoom for criminal cases and make them appear in person and hold them in contempt for ANY and ALL disrespect. Some of these people have gotten too comfortable being able to appear in court from home. I know they are thinking, "if I'm not there, they won't hold me in contempt". @@k.stacey7389 there's nothing written anywhere that judges have to act like they're above everyone else and should hold people in contempt for any perceived slight. There's literally nothing wrong with a patient judge. You're probably just an authoritarian type personality who expects people in places of authority to act like tyrants, for whatever reason.

      Judge Webster has actually gotten a little grouchy in the last couple months. Idk if she's going through something or getting tired of the job or what but she's held more people in contempt in the last couple months than she has in the last year I've been watching her.

    As a woman, that chick deserved harsher treatment. I DOUBT she would've gotten those responses if she was a man who acted the same way in court, almost regardless of their mental health record. @@LawTalkWithMike Since we all know that is true, I’m curious, as a lawyer, how do you square that in the legal field when it’s so blatantly unbalanced? I’m sure if you saw a male client act something like this (but not as bad as this woman) and it got all thrown at him, with appropriate consequences….. You would want to scream at the judge “that’s not right because…”, but truly you couldn’t. It must drive you nuts to witness that I’m sure? How do we change the imbalance for consequences for men vs women? 🤠☮️

    I have dealt with mental health issues and ADD my entire life, and never even ONE time have I ever behaved in such a disrespectful manner in a court or to law enforcement. My daughter has been diagnosed with bipolar, and she is the sweetest and kindest young lady, and would never and could never speak to ANY authority figure that way. I never even had to worry about any of her behavior or whereabouts or choices when she was in high school, or now while she's in college. Acting this way is a choice.

Even when our mind is in chaos and we feel hopeless, we CHOOSE how we treat others. However, I do understand feeling hopeless and in pain and acting out because of those feelings--I hope she went back and apologized for her behavior, at the very least.
