This is both sheer agony and hilarious. I can almost guarantee the attorney is drunk; she is speaking very carefully to avoid slurring her words. It’s unbelievable that her own client is trying to get her to shut up. Defendant is a swindler, a liar and very uneducated yet he’s the most likable person there (besides the judge)
Mikey, if she tries to sue you to take it down, let her take you to court about it. We want a live feed of you two against each other! It would be easy for you, but go the extra mile just to give us a laugh and embarrass her lol
I thought he was a cardboard cut out in the very beginning, prior to him saying anything. Kind of like a black & white photo being used to make the cut out, so odd.
I'm pretty sure that attorney's brain just...shut off half way through that. She honestly did not sound like she had a cold, more like drunk out of her freaking mind and forgot she had a case today. Maybe just didn't care about her career anymore, in either case her career is pretty much done.
@@johndorian4078disagree.. saying she had the worst cold did not require a 'are you on any medications' . OR even "are you okay to continue"... the attorney was late to the hearing and just said that arbitrarily.. had she said it with the intention that she was not capable of proceeding the attorney would have piggybacked her comment with the addition of requesting an adjournment BUT that wouldn't even matter... there are cases avail on YT where the attorneys presiding were with DIRE medical deficits and were advised to be prepared for opening statements despite just being released frim the hospital..so if a recent heart attack /stroke patient attorney is expected to rock .. this sloppy chick is no exception
When she withdrew and everyone had a reaction and the court reporter was sitting there like this isn’t the craziest thing I’ve heard this week. It was gold.
She said she has a really bad cold. Really? She didn’t cough once. Sniffle or anything. All she did was slur her words horribly bad, be in contempt of court many times and talk out of turn like a psycho. She was absolutely wasted.
Actually this isn’t that far off from COVID. I sounded a bit odd and struggled to think/process but I barely coughed or anything on my first pass (early second wave). Later COVID tends to be more of a cold. It doesn’t excuse her behaviour even if so, she should have recognized she wasn’t capable of proceeding. I don’t drink so I can’t directly compare the experience, but I think the thought processing may be similar.
@@thedave1771 you could be right, I actually have COVID right now, for the second time, and I don’t feel anything like the first time after being vaccinated but it’s been awhile since I watched this video and she just seemed REALLY wasted to me, but she could be sick, you’re right 😅 I may have been a little judgemental but it was definitely a crazy experience watching this one 😂

I've taken anti-anxiety drugs. I said things I normally would not, but my voice didn't change. I think she was on major prescription pain medication, which I was on in 2021. I said things I normally would not, and maybe I was a bit giddy. I think she's feeling some euphoria, but she's trying to reign it in. She may have just started taking it, or she took one too many. Just an educated hunch.

Omg Mr. Meekes and his attorney are making that hearing 100 times longer than it needed to be. How does that man build condos when he can get out of bed for court.
She was obviously drunk, while the evidence should damn her, the Judge could be called into question for allowing this horrible display to continue. She was clearly creating reversible appeal grounds, and the case may have taken that posture as a motion for retrial seems to be winning.
Attorney: “My client is kinda a big deal.” 🤓🤫🥴 “I’m going to have to withdraw.” 🚪🏃♀️ Judge: “I think your client would be better off without but you’re not excused.” 😂

Oh, yes. I'm more of a business person and give pitches to investors, sometimes at a conference where there are many presentations. I've seen a younger guy pitch to a big audience and just completely freeze and can't talk at all. For a minute or two, he looked baffled and then just walked off the dais. Second one I remember was like this. Guy has a million things to say and busy PPT slides. He was maybe 1/2 the way through his decks when time was up. *Too much talking!*
Oh wow! That’s actually genius! “YES, ALL OBJECTIONS.” & “OBJECTIONS TO EVERYTHING.” What a time saver!!!! I’ll have to use that one next time. Wish I’d thought of that one. Instead of running through multiple individual objections let’s just use “OBJECTION;ALL OF THEM.” 😂🤣😅😂 omg!! LMAO!
A defense lawyer clearly blasted out of her mind on who knows what, a defendant with a brain about as sharp as a wet dishrag, a prosecutor who makes J. Regier look like the life of the party, and a judge who has clearly had it up to here with all three of them. This hearing truly has it all.
I'm only an RN (Registered Nurse), no where near the intelligence of a lawyer and even my law IQ dropped by the minute of her speaking! He best part was the client saying "why errrrrbody arguing?" At the end 😂😂
I'm not even half as educated as a you, I have a Master's but RN requires way more brain power and skill. I think I lost more than brain cells here lol
You are Not! Only an RN! You have very specialised knowledge of human anatomy & physiology. You have knowledge of many diseases. You know how to ensure a patient is made comfortable, kept informed of his/her condition & you inform the treating doctor(s) of any changes in a patients condition. In a health emergency episode; who is going to be more helpful & competent? A Registered Nurse or an Attorney? I would value the help of the RN in that circumstance!!
Trust me, I’m a lawyer and this is not the only lawyer whose IQ has been called into question. I’m pretty sure being in the medical field takes more brain cells. All. That. Math. 😂
You know an attorney is bad when you're hoping the punch-drunk former boxer who can barely understand the simplest question goes pro-se because he'd be better off..
This absolutely made my week! I'd love to find out what happens to the attorney for acting that way!! I'm also 100% sure that she is under the influence of something. Maybe she way over did it on the cold medicine.🤣
Mike, I only found your channel a few weeks ago, but I confess I've been binge watching ever since. It's pretty easy to feel smart watching what so many idiotic lunatics shamelessly do in court with zero self-awareness whatsoever.

So I’ve been deep dive researching into Mia Alexa, the attorney for Alexia Law Firm. I’m trying to figure out what happened to the contempt charges and law license, etc. I have been able to find that she is still licensed to practice in Texas and Arizona. However, I just saw that on yelp it is listed as closed for medical leave and I cannot find anything on the contempt charges. So what I’m thinking is they might’ve dropped the contempt charges if she agreed to go to rehab and she’s in rehab right now. That’s my thought.
Everything about this is the greatest thing I've ever seen. It's a complete dumpster fire from end to end, and I'm loving every second. The mid testimony withdrawal was a great twist!
The fact the Meeks flat out said he wanted a ruling from a judge saying that he owes money to the other parties and wanted to get this over with, but before and after continued to argue after every question cracks me up.
This whole thing was WILD. The 8th grade neverending powerpoint, the client objecting, the witness continually referring to the other attorney by his last name ("c'mon Coomer"), the fact everytime I hear the business I think of c*ck and balls, the constant uptalking (which never bothered me before you pointed it out, so thank you for that Mike), the "let's move forward", her demanding to withdraw, Mr Meeks telling his attorney "you just need to sit there & be quiet, she said let Coomer talk" then calling the judge a nice lady, I could go on. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This has been one of the best videos I’ve seen in a long time! This is great on so many levels - the defendant, the attorney(s), the judge, the celebrity of it, the fact that the defendant objected, the perfect goat scream timing when she got her 4th contempt, everything 😂
Go back and watch the first couple of minutes of this clip. The attorney apologizes when she comes in late because she is very, very sick with a very bad cold. She really didn’t want to be there because she doesn’t represent this guy in his corporate business or life yet she was there anyway. How well do you do at work when you’re sick? Or do you even bother to go?
Do you remember when that lawyer showed up drunk at court after he wrecked his car… And people said he smelled of Booze… And the female judge asked him and he lied about it at first but it slowly came out… *That guy WAS WAY MORE COHERENT THAN this contemptuous/ clumsy lawyer.*

Well she had to make a point she had a cold so that was strange
That chick is drunk 😂
I speak from experience. Drunk AF. No doubt.
She sure sounds drunk to me. Maybe it’s cold medicine 😂
@@ginamartinez1654 ...but, she shows no "really bad cold" symptoms. Maybe Really Bad Cold is a high-potency alcoholic beverage? lol
Mikey, if she tries to sue you to take it down, let her take you to court about it. We want a live feed of you two against each other! It would be easy for you, but go the extra mile just to give us a laugh and embarrass her lol
Are we just going to slide over the fact that the male lawyer looks like a ghost and is eating during this hearing? This whole thing is gold.
Yes, he does! 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
I thought he was a cardboard cut out in the very beginning, prior to him saying anything. Kind of like a black & white photo being used to make the cut out, so odd.
When was he eating? I missed that.

I hope this attorney is investigated thoroughly. This was horrific.
Female Lionel Hutz from the Simpsons. “This verdict is written on a cocktail napkin…. and it still says guilty…. and guilty is spelled wrong!”
I think when she told the judge she had the worst cold, the judge should have asked her if she was on any medications
I'm pretty sure that attorney's brain just...shut off half way through that. She honestly did not sound like she had a cold, more like drunk out of her freaking mind and forgot she had a case today. Maybe just didn't care about her career anymore, in either case her career is pretty much done.
RIGHT! Whew
In my opinion the only person in this train wreck of a trial who 100% knew what they were doing was the court reporter 😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂 I agree. Now I need to find videos of court reports POV.
When she withdrew and everyone had a reaction and the court reporter was sitting there like this isn’t the craziest thing I’ve heard this week. It was gold.
Yes agreed. The judge sounded a little loose too.
🤣🤣🤣 good one
@dearericaroman pls post some links!! 😄
Thank you for the gift of this court hearing, I am rolling on the floor with laughter.

@1:15:17 was gold, when the client advises the attorney to be quiet. He's giving her far better advice than she's given him.
Wouldn't be surprised if that gets cited in the show cause order from the judge, noting that even the client asked Ms. Alexia to be quiet.
Im not a lawyer. I am an officer of the court I investigate for the state of California state attornry. I was a CHP officer for 12 years. I am trained to spot intoxication. This woman is on something. The judge should file a Bar complaint.
I said this a couple of times in live chat, that she's more than just drunk. I'm not trained, but I've seen things.

she did start the proceedings saying she was sick, the judge should have taken note of that and asked he if she was on medication
This is the best one I've seen BY FAR!! I should have taken a shot every time you said "it gets worse" but I still wouldn't be as altered as that lawyer. Can we find more videos with her?! That would be a gold mine! Thank you so much for the laughs and the horror.

Omg Mr. Meekes and his attorney are making that hearing 100 times longer than it needed to be. How does that man build condos when he can get out of bed for court.
Right? Who would even do business with that dude.
I was thinking the same thing I was thinking there's no way this man can be a businessman
I’m dying at the constant “he invokes his right to remain silent”
“Man I’ll answer anything they ask”
I actually like that the judge let this go on. It's just more evidence for the Bar to see her behavior.
She was obviously drunk, while the evidence should damn her, the Judge could be called into question for allowing this horrible display to continue. She was clearly creating reversible appeal grounds, and the case may have taken that posture as a motion for retrial seems to be winning.

Giving handouts or preparing PP decks and then reading them to the audience is a fireable offense.

A defense lawyer clearly blasted out of her mind on who knows what, a defendant with a brain about as sharp as a wet dishrag, a prosecutor who makes J. Regier look like the life of the party, and a judge who has clearly had it up to here with all three of them. This hearing truly has it all.

This is such great entertainment. Incompetent attorneys and a client that simply won't answer a question and just goes off on a tangent.
