My Logitech gear won't register on Logitech G Hub?? - FIX

YOU GOTTA CHANGE THE "required" text to "true" and NOT the "state" text, i made a mistake and hope you forgive me :D
hanks to Alex for fixing the If driver_hid_joystick isn't poping up. go back to current and go to edit, then crtl + f and search up g29. Go down to were it says true or false and in the "Status" bar is might say Downloading. Just wait until it is finished and then go back to %programdata% and do the steps again as in the video and it should be there! that's what i did to make it appear! just waited.
You forgot to mention that you gotta do the same for driver_usb as you did with driver_hid_joystick. Thanks for the video bro, wouldn't have made it as far as I did just reading the Reddit post lol

Same here, so, I dragged the file "current" from its original folder 📂" LGHUB " to my desktop, and did the changes, then I saved it and dragged it back to the original folder again.
You my friend, are my hero. Just got the wheel fresh out of the box and was wondering why it wasnt showing up in G HUB when the website clearly statet that its supported.

So this didn't work for me I've tried almost everything but a PC reformat to get it to work and my G hub say not connected for my G920 same for my roommates when he plug his in and when I plugged it into his PC it worked fine trying to find out why it's not connecting to G hub but it works for other games but the force feedback doesn't work at all and the steering is way stiff hard to steer the wheel any ideas?

I cannot get this to work, my current file doesn't look like this. I can find the G29 but the thing is downloaded an the URL is pulling from a different source than what it says in this video. I don't get it at all. On top of that there is no driver_usb or driver_hid_joystick for me :/

I am trying this on a Mac and when I go to save the file it states that I don’t have permission and creates a copy when I try to move the copy into the file it gives me the same error message.
when i try to save the changes it doesnt let me and a message pops up saying i dont have permission to save. please respond

hey i did everything with my 6502 and its still not working. any tips?
did everything 2 times over. still no joy file there, or shifter in the app, out of desperation went in game, ETS2 input wizard and everything is mapped and stick works.

i just changed the permissions of who was allowed to edit the file folder. its most likely that the account your using isnt the account that this software deams to be the computers admin user. Just go into properties for the folder and make the profile your in have full controll to read, write modify ect ect. That worked for me. Now im just having issues getting the folder to show up in DEPOTS sooooo.
I can't edit the file. Just bitches about me not having permission to change it. Have tried to disable the write protection but it just doesn't take. Any ideas?

Same for me too, right now I am thinking it's a software issue with Logitech and I'm sure they are not going to fix it lol. I'm stumped when it comes to things not being recognized by a program or app.
I contacted logitech and they said that they'd replace it if you have a receipt or proof of purchase

There is a fix, you need to download an older version of Logitech G, I have 2020 with auto updates off and it works perfectly now.
the current file is popping up as a '.jason' file and i think im screwed

I get a message saying Im not authorised to make changes to the Current.json file, even though I am admin. This means I can't save the change from "false" to "true". Any suggestions?

Sorry but not working for me. in the current file sone 6x driver_hid_joystick and only 1 ik can change to true and PRESENT but after updating no joystick option is there .. so what know ?

What you wanna do is; Right-click on "current", press properties, press security (at the top), press edit, and under groups or usernames, press Users, and then at the bottom, press Allow on "full control", then save and ok. Hope it helped :)

Apparently I'm the only one with this issue as no comments below address it. Whenever I attempt to save the "true" it says I don not have permission. Anyone know how to solve this issue?
@justinlinberg8447 Change the security permissions of the folder. I had this issue as well. It turns out that the app doesnt regisnise certain account as admins even tho they are. just go into properties and under secutiry make the profile your on have full access such as modify, write and read. Will sort the saving issue out. Just having issues with getting the Driver_hid_joystick folder to show up now

dylan cook hi there, try reading my description :) i think theres a solution for that in the description
In the video he mistakenly changes PRESENT, or ABSENT on your end. Instead a few lines above change "false" to "true" and continue as the video shows.

try and unplug it while in the g hub and plug it in again

Thanks for this video. I swear all Logitech peripherals are good physically but all the software side of things is literal cancer. I can never just use my stuff without having to google fixes or without getting frustrated by GHUB.
This is a completely new bug I've never had before too. Logitech just keeps surprising me every time and not in a good way.

My G HUB wasn't detecting either my mouse or keyboard and wouldn't respond to software updates. In the end I was able to fix it by deleting the LGHUB file entirely and doing a fresh install. If all else fails that may be worth a try for anyone with a similar issue.

When I clicked LGHUB and then clicked current it said unable to find software to open this file

When i press save it tells me to replace the file in its place but it ses owner only have permitions

It might not exactly be driver_hid_joystick, try looking for a different folder that looks a lot like the driver_hid_joystick one, and then download the installation file in the other folder :)
found the error, there is an error in the video, the first time when you update the "current" file don't change the STATE but REQUIRED, must be set on "true" then continue with the rest of the tutorial

If you have been having the problem of the Logitech shifter not connecting, I have found a fix. If you download the newest version of Logitech gaming software (NOT GHUB) then it will fix as it did for me. Just here to help.

Try uninstalling G Hub and install it in your C Desk
