I just tried this with my new Logitech G29, but it doesn't seem to work. :/ My G29 had a little different error though, LGHUB recognized the G29, but it wasn't connecting, it was showing constantly "connecting" but it never connected.

I just bought myself a Logitech gear shifter for my g920 and it didn't work so I followed along with the video and it still didn't help with the gear shifter not working or the images showing up on the G hub. Any other suggestions?
@@saejsahota1001 yea, it was the wheel base that was the problem and it wasn't recognizing the shifter so I returned the shifter and got an external shifter that connected straight to my PC. I got a thrustmaster and it works great for me

@@PS3nMWPrOz Actually, as of yesterday, I was able to get the wheel working. Don't blame Logitech. My G29 worked on a previous PC, but didn't work for my current PC until I figured it out the other day. So the problem isn't the wheel itself. It's a PC issue.

It works for me, so it should work for everyone else too.

Thanks, My problem was that the g29 was connected and it was shown inactive but after doing this it fixed it and now i can manually change the settings.
QUESTION: Did your device show up in your [Windows - Settings - Devices] before using this method? I've tried this method for my G935 but it did not solve it. Further explenation of my problem: Yesterday I was playing a game, and suddenly my sound disappeared, thought it was the game at first, noticed i had sound nowhere. restarted my headset restarted my pc tried to put it on the cable tried putting bluetooth usb in another port tried charging the headset for a while tried pretty much everything but my headset just magically disappeared from my devices and my GHUB after years of usage and it won't come back, tried taking out and in all accesable components, but I think something is wrong with my reciever or sender or whatever. the sound dropped with just normal use, my headphone has not fallen, shaken or taken any type of ireasonable damage. if anyone can please help me with any suggestions.

Sadly, didn't work for me: system is stuck at the splash screen animation at 02:00 😭. After rebooting G Hub started but wheel still isn't recognised.

This worked really well, pretty straight foprward. I just used noitepad as the json editor.

In 2022, if this guide doesn't work for you. Plug your wheel to a USB 2.0 port instead of USB 3.0 port. Mine fixed after this.
