This video goes to show that it isn’t completely over even if a detrimental event happens in life and that there are answers for them out there. Makes me appreciate my own body more knowing that it could happen to all of us at any given moment. Glad you’re still able to play video games and great first video on the channel

I wasn’t trying to be funny, but I mean, even if you think I was, you can’t judge me on it considering this is your level of “humour”
The guy above you is still you, so you just called yourself unfunny.
That’s a logical fallacy btw, it’s called ad hominem, google it, and provide an actual point as to why I’m wrong next time.
Why is always the dumb, lazy comments by edgy kids that get likes and not people actually calling out annoying comments? The original commenter clearly just wanted likes, deny it as he might.

It's because he was raised with love and support by his caregivers in childhood. That is the determining factor at your "resilience" to hardships.
If you were raised to be afraid of your caregivers. Being abused, be it emotionally invalidated and neglected, then your brain develops in such a way that it "Resists" a hardship occuring, and that "Resistance" causes inner turmoil, which leads to self-defeat, and then leads to su!cidality.

I hope this message finds you well! I am a graduate student conducting research on making virtual reality interactions for gaming accessible for gamers who self identify as having any upper limb impairment that hinders their gameplay experience. Your girlfriend's insights could be invaluable to us!
We're conducting a study on accessible Virtual Reality (VR) gaming interactions and are reaching out to gamers with upper limb impairments who share a love for gaming. We believe your girlfriend's unique perspective could help us forge a more inclusive gaming future.
If your girlfriend spends around 4 hours per week gaming on any platform, is 18 years or above, and speaks English, we would love to hear from them. Their input on VR gaming and interactions, as well as any thoughts on controller mods, could make a significant impact.
As a token of our appreciation, we're offering a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card, and you don't need prior VR gaming experience to participate.
Ready to take the plunge? Click the link below to dive into our survey:

Always great to see someone overcoming adversity with such a great attitude. Idk if you will see this but i wanted to share it with you. When i was young a friend of mine was in an accident and also lost his arm. About a year later i went to his house for the first time. I was completely blown away. Not only had he leaned to use a stock ps2 controller with one hand but he could absolutely stomp anyone in a fighting or fps game playing this way. He just laid the controller in his lap, thumb and ring finger on the sticks with the rest them wrapped around the controller to reach all the buttons. It was truely one of the most impressive things i have ever seen. With the accessibilty of 3d printing and other things i have no doubt there are better moden solutions but i just wanted to let you know that it is in fact possible to play a dual stick with one hand. Great video. Stay positive and keep up the good work.

Book? No. I appreciate other medias/mediums for leading me to literature. But for me and others like me fiction/stories are superior in text, in books, expressed in literature. It's more portable and cheaper. It doesnt need electricity and other accessories. It's the ultimate physical media. I'll give an example. I played the witcher 3 but the books is much more superior and original. Stories in books has more philosophy and details and has more freedom. In literature it utilizes language to the max so it can produce other arts like making a visual/performance arts from the scenes from a book and making music, melody, poetry from it. Classic literature is the foundation of modern media if not for it we won't have the other medias. Books are also much more personal, if you don't have aphantasia and can make sense, imagine, relate to what you're reading. The quality of title of choice will also be one the main factor if not the main.

I can tell you have a lot of love and support in your life. Very good upbringing. Your caregivers raised you with love. How do I know this? Look what happened to you and what you went through, and look at how optimistic/hopeful you are. That is the key determining factor whether a negative event will make or break you. "Love and Support"
Now if you were abused as a child, and were made to be afraid of your caregivers... then a negative event like losing your arm would make you want to off yourself.
Why is it like this? Being raised with love and support builds "Resilience" . The more resilience you have, the more resilient you are to hardships.

Absolutely love your energy! Any person would be rightfully adverse to talk about it something like this happened to them. But making a UA-cam channel, with a great name like that and taking it in stride, is a whole new level of badassery. Inspiring! Can't wait to see more from you!

I have a mental illness and have been in a bad place for a little while; I haven’t been handling it very well. I’m glad I was recommended your video. How optimistic you are has helped me reframe some of the negative thoughts I’ve had. You have really helped me. Thank you. I wish you all the best. Subscribed.

Honestly as a first video it is scary how good it is. You got literally what i wanted in a channel. If the video was just about your missing arm it wouldn't necessarilly grab my attention compared to what you have done here. You somehow took a tragic event that many people would literally never recover mentally from the same event and made that topic into something more lighthearted to give more insight how the hell you manage to keep up with games after missing a limb that is LITERALLY requires 2 because most peripherals are designed that way. Hope i can see more content of yours either related to this topic or branch out to other kind of videos as well. I can already see the joke/pun potential you could have with whatever game you are playing especially with friends who take the whole thing as lighthearted as your portray in this video.
