Don't blame manufacturers, outdated US regulations are to blame quite unfortunately.

Those lights are insane. When I'm at a stop light or sign my turn signal lights up every sign in front of me and even behind.
These night reviews are the best Mike but you did not address the ambient/mood lighting; can it change colors or is it always white?
No, it can only be adjusted in brightness. They removed the color change option for the overhead mood lights for 2023.

I agree - the new EX90 looks like a concept. I don't particularly like the design of the front and back. From the side is still acceptable, however, many things and good qualities were not inherited from the previous generation

luckily they improved the interior light design. I had a XC40 from 2018 to 2020. They said that the interior lighting was wow but it was very sad. Now this one looks better. Love Volvo, hope to be available to get a new one. Someday.

The high beams look pretty poor
the main beam on the open road is even very good. I have a car like this, a 2019 model

@@mediumrarepotato7385 compared to other cars i've driven at night, the xc90's lights (with the maximum set of lights) are ok, especially when the fog lights are used in addition
@@Alberts_Kviesis If you look at the tests from IIHS it is short of optimal range in almost all tests. Reflectors are nice and bright but don’t reach very far.
We have a 2022 XC60 on a lease at 16k miles the front rotors and pads needed to be replaced and the tires were worn on. Their shop told me it’s a common problem because their cars are like “tanks” 🙄 stay away from this brand
