Clearly, every question was carefully scripted and pre-approved by DHS to reveal what they could. Notice that there was very little info about the car itself, it was all about operations. I would have liked to know more about the drivetrain, the chassis it's based on, the weight etc.

St. Helens, The presidential limo was brought the night before to our weapons storage area to be stored over night in a weapons igloo. I was one of the fire team leaders being a non-commissioned officer, One of the agents asked me If I would like to sit in the limo where the president sits, it was a Lincoln Continental and totally beautiful, his only request is to not take my M-16 inside the car and to not remove anything. The next day I secured the air control tower as Air Force One landed, then was escorted by the same agent to the reception line for the president and I still had both of my firearms as Security Police, I was hand picked by my squadron commander for the detail!! I am 67 now and still remember it clearly.

Edit: I probably should clarify that such a sniper would be ineffective against the vehicle or anyone in it. However, there is that brief time when the President is entering or exiting when he is exposed. Good optics would assist in spotting the key vehicles, hence the so-called "low profile" factor does have a purpose.

Even as a non-American, I can imagine how much of an honour it is to have the incumbent Presidential limousine in your own garage. Although very little was said about the vehicle itself in terms of ordinary vehicle talking points, I still found the conversation interesting. One thing that was made obvious though was that 'The Beast' has air suspension which was clearly visible when loading onto the aircraft at the end. So, that was something fascinating to learn and was reminded about when President Bush's (the latter) limousine got itself grounded as leaving the premises of a building on a visit to the UK. I wonder if that minor hiccup was one of the reasons for adding air suspension (or hydraulic, perhaps?) in the later generation models. I still find it amazing that Jay Leno creates these high quality programmes and distributes them for free on UA-cam. That in itself is testament to his passion for various modes of transport and his desire to share it with anyone who is willing to watch. Thank you Jay for creating these programmes.

Thanks, Jay, to you and your production crew for making this happen and thanks to the Secret Service, Homeland Security and everyone involved in making the vehicle available.

This is an example of how to be respectful to the people interviewed. All journalists should learn from Jay!

I'm gonna hurt inside the day we lose Jay. So, I'm gonna thank him now.
Jay, THANK YOU SO MUCH , not just for sharing with us your love of cars, but for your classy sense of humour. You surely are TOP CLASS. You have touched our lives during the wonderful years you did late night tv, and continued to your car show. THANK YOU, Mr Leno. You are loved.

This guy is more like a politician than a Secret Service guy. He was able to evade any questions about the car for like 20 minutes solid. lol
