Thanks for a true beginner video.
I can’t thank you enough for making more videos! I discovered you when I was looking for yoga for bigger bodies. You have the easiest, most approachable videos for heavy people I have found! Other “beginner” videos are too strenerous for me, and leave me feeling exhausted and frustrated. Your videos are perfect, and I finish feeling good and accomplished! Thank you so much! 😘
Oh Binjy, your comment made my day! I'm so glad to know you're enjoying my videos. If you haven't already, you might like to check out my monthly practice calendar. I agree so much. I thought i would never be able to do yoga until i found this.
love, love and love some more
I loved this. It is giving me faith that my flexibility and mobility can improve. Thank you.
Hello Suzette, it certainly can improve. Go slowly and practice consistently for best results. And reach out if you have any questions! :)

Hello Jocelyn, congrats on your new yoga practice! :) Are you experiencing some benefits already? Please let me know if you have any questions along the way!
Definitely benefit to arm range of motion; I had a torn rotator cuff a few months ago. Combining your class with physio is making a huge difference. Planning to start level two on Monday. Also got my husband to try this morning. He has restless legs combined with hip issues from being in a vehicle so much. He was skeptical but found it really good.
Thank you. I have hip pain problems,a new to yoga, I’m overweight. This video was great. Thank you!!!

Do you still have the live yoga for bigger bodies on Wednesday? The website says it is moderate level.
I was wondering, during the warrior pose my left ankle (when placed behind me) hurts. I know you said it shouldn't hurt when practicing yoga so I tried adjusting it but it still feels painful. Any advice?
Hi Amanda, please try a wider and/or shorter stance and let me know any of those help.
Just had a question about the arms-out twist at around the 10 min. mark...Are the knees supposed to remain motionless and facing forward when moving to each side? I just realized I have a lot of movement in my knees to get a good twist and then realized maybe that's totally wrong. My knees aren't really complaining about it but I wouldn't want to be doing any damage to them over time.
Great question. The legs can either be stable or they can move, but the more we stabilize the legs/knees, the more challenging the twist will feel in the torso. I usually cue to warm up with a couple of rounds, then if you feel comfortable with more challenge, stabilize the lower body to twist more in the upper body. I hope this makes sense. :)
@@yogawithzelinda It totally makes sense, thank you for the answer!
