Hi, been doing lots of your videos nearly every day for a couple of months. Being a big girl finding it empowering to be able to do yoga again, I haven't done a practice for years. Had a wonderful fun teacher, then moved!! I'm losing weight anyway, but finding the improved posture makes me feel good about myself and my breathing is majorly improved, so thank you so much.xx
I’m dealing with, and trying to manage back and neck pain from poor posture, etc. My physical therapy videos are very limited so this really helps. 😌 Thank you
I love EVERYTHG about this channel!! You're AWESOME!! I've watched so many vids and do them everyday now. I'm so glad i found you!! Finally yoga that i can participate in bcse even tho i am quite small i am completely inflexible and am amazed at some of the poses others can do that I'm sure I'll never be able to get to bcse of past injuries. I am so grateful for your channel and esp the explanations of poses, it truly makes the biggest difference for me when i understand why and how to do them. TYTYTYTYTY!!
Hi Danielle! That's so good to hear! I'm glad you're finding my videos helpful. :) Keep practicing consistently and your flexibility will improve. Of course, please be cautious about your past injuries and practice in a way that's comfortable for your body. When you're ready to take your practice to the next level, you might like to check out my Patreon Community. I create extra content for them like a Monthly Practice Calendar, bonus videos, and we also do a monthly Zoom call where I teach about different topics. You can read about it here: www.patreon.com/rryogaroom
You're most welcome LibbyLu Lu! Did you already sign up for my 7 Day Challenge that's coming up July 19th? Details here: mailchi.mp/rryogaroom/july-2021-challenge
Loved this one! I have spent a lot of time this year working on posture to improve shoulder and arm pain. While practicing, I must pay attention to my head and neck position all the time. Beautiful setting today and excellent presentation. Thank you.
Thanks, Joyce. This was my favorite place that we stayed throughout our road trip. It sounds like you're doing great work with your posture. Let me know if you need anything. :)
I really appreciate this practice since I work at a computer for 8 hours a day! My only question for you is... how do I modify the the first core strengthening if lying down isn't working well for me that day? I keep having a twinge of pain in my left hip when I move my leg or legs up. Today I just did boat pose instead, modified like from your most recent video with Denise, so that I would have some core work in this sequence. Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Michele! In order to give your hip some time to rest, I'd suggest just doing the arm portion and engaging your abs as if you were going to lift your legs, but don't actually lift your legs. Let me know if that works ok for you.
