I don't own a Jeep, but I wanted to post a comment anyway. First, it's really sad that these types of videos don't get more views. Second, I've heard that Mobil 1 is not that good. I'm going to be switching brands the next time I change the oil in my Chrysler. I've heard great things about Penzoil Platinum and Castrol Magnatec. I'm going to start using one of those two.
@@Kaleb_RoSs My stupid 2.4 Chrysler takes 5 1/2 quarts of 0w-20 full synthetic. It sucks because I always have to buy the extra quart to use half of it. It gets a little expensive, but it's still way cheaper than going to the dealership for the service.
@@unclefester4626 I remember when Penzoil was garbage, but someone recommended a few UA-cam videos to me. When tested, the Penzoil Platinum was supposed to be one of the best. I’ll probably go with Castrol Edge or Magnatec, though, because I’ve been using the Castrol GTX synthetic blend in my other cars for years.

0-20 is the JL and it takes 1 less qt. So 2018 had a lot of confusion for new jeep owners because that year they made a limited run of JKs, and then The JLS. JK is Almost 6 qts of 5w20 and the JL is 5qts of 0W20.
Thanks for the vid didn’t realize it was that easy to change the oil 😅
I am so glad i own a vehicle with an old style oil filter!!!!
@@unclefester4626 yea my old dodge is much easier
Nicely done. It would've triggered my OCD if you hadn't use a little oil for a flush. 😂 Thanks.

I also do my own oil changes.
@@gnic76 lmao I’ve considered going to a tire shop part time or something
