I dont think for a second craftsman is better than dewalt or Milwaukee, but I will say the craftsman tools i do have ive beat the hell out of and theyre still going with no issues and got them for great price
@@lancemill5683 I’m glad they’re working good for you!
@@Kaleb_RoSs Thank you sir
Just say no to drugs kids
@@ToolswithSoAlz always 😂😂
If anything, Craftsman power tools are made from some parts of Dewalt models that are no longer manufactured. I believe it was TTC that showed the high torque Craftsman impact wrench being pretty much the same as the DCF899, which has been replaced with the DCF900.
@@DiligentDave1966 yea they definitely seem to be getting the hand me downs
I'M sure that LOWE'S $ELL$ more CRAPSMEN then FLEX SAD
@@ericnichols9275 It’s literally because the employees are pushing people straight towards Craftsman. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.
Their prices are better than Milwaukee and DeWalt
The brushed tools might be lower priced, but the brushless are about the same price as their Dewalt counterparts.
@Jon_K8so You have to go to Lowe's when they have the buy the charger and 2 4amp hour batteries for 149.00 and get a tool free dewalt can't beat that and Milwaukee don't waste your money on that Chinese owned company they're not a American company anymore so stop supporting China I know that some tools are made in China but st least they're not owned by China
Better than Milwaukee the same as dewalt
@@loucifer4205 I don’t see it. The brushless Craftsman drill that I see in my stores is rated at 350 UWO. That is just slightly higher than the DCD777, which is about 8 years old now.
Most people starting out will choose one platform or another. You really can't go wrong with what you choose. The game always changes in time.
@@n9oqu exactly
Try this with the Dewalt 860, Milwaukee makes darn good tools but Dewalt can still up thier game with a larger powerstack battery.
@@n9oqu plan on getting the 860 soon but I’ve been buying way too many damn tools lately lmao
Idk why guys insist that bosch is best in concrete when their rotary hammer drill gears brake much faster than makita or dewalt ?
@@mouravi1920 I’ve never had an issue with the Bosch but like I said, I prefer Hilti when it comes to concrete anyways
@@Kaleb_RoSs nice , but when I see Bosch SDS max hammer drills on service their gear are damaged in almost cases, when Makita and DeWalt just need changing bearings, brushes or oil rings. But Bosch gsh 11e and 2- 26 dre are legends.
@@mouravi1920 I see, good point for sure
If you would've pre-drilled it wouldn't have taken 10 15 seconds for the threads to bite lol
Flex, Bosch and Metabo HPT are all great examples of Lowe’s fails to sell good brands. They have been clearing out Flex and Metabo HPT for awhile, and they only have a tiny display for Bosch. Meanwhile, Craftsman has a huge display.
I posted that comment because I’m a box store junkie. I literally hang out in the tool section whenever I have time, and I see who shops where. I always see professional trades people at Home Depot. That said, I prefer the power tool accessories at Lowe’s. Bosch, Wiha and Dewalt Flex Torque are some of the best driver bits I have tried, and Spyder spade bits seem to be really good too. The only driver bits from Home Depot I have had any luck with are Makita XPS.
MAKITA XPS IMPACT BITS FOR LIFE!
@@TOOL_TECHNICAL I’ve also had pretty good luck with Bauer and Hercules, believe it or not.
Metabo so far is only better in angle grinders blew my Milwaukee out of the water but I love my Milwaukee impacts
Metabo HPT is like the piano of power tools. 😅 Smoothly satisfyingly good.
That's funny, seems like those commenters have never tried starting a lag bolt, it isn't sharp lit a screw. In a couple of your vids where you drive it into the same hole the second time, the torque reader shows a little bit higher torque number.
If I were still collecting power tools, it would be a great deal for me but then I woke up. 😂
@@louisd95714 😂😂 I’ve been getting rid of some of my other brands so I gave myself permission
I use flex from Lowe’s all the time, I just wish they would hurry up and fill out their lineups
@@jhippl they’ve been adding a ton of new tools but apparently Lowe’s won’t be stocking them
@@Kaleb_RoSs same really, I hope another store picks them up like Menards and Northern Tool. Both of those chains could use a professional level tool brand to add.
Just use ACME and OHIO Power tools
@@ericnichols9275 i do but in person is also nice, they also sell on amazon.
@@ericnichols9275AMEN!!!!
Yah they can the job done ✔️ 👍 . I own porter cable myself and recently bought Ryobi but worked construction most of life and those are more pricey premium brands like Makita, Bosch, Milwaukee, dewalt etc
Selling on Amazon just means Flex will be givomg their profits to Amazon. Fees to sell on their platform often eat up most profits. We use to sell items, for something listed at $10 about 60-70٪ of that cost is because of Amazon fees. Which is why Amazon sold products are ALWAYS much less than private seller.
I can’t believe that the Flex Army is upset about 45 foot pounds. Only the M18 Fuel and the Metabo HPT have ever tested close to that.
Most of these types of comments are just whiny little fangirls crying because her tool brand lost
I dont know if that guy just doesn't understand how torque works or he just didn't get the point of the test but either way that logic is so broken.
I meant to say pilot hole not pre drill* these videos are meant to be somewhat informative but I am in no way trying to sway your decision of power tool. Get what you like and you’ll be fine. These videos are MAINLY supposed to be entertaining so I will cut out several seconds of a video if it feels like it’s just taking too long. Love you…
I got the dcd 998 for 2 years now it is a beast of a drill and my favorite so far but I am interested in the dcd1007 gonna review all the tests on it would love to see it go head to head with the 998 and 999 then I can make a solid decision 👍
sadly that 50$ isn't stacking for me.
I believe it was for only 24hours
@Kaleb_RoSs still worth it, just ordered the 18 ga brad kit, high torque kit and the 6 ah kit and got the rotary hammer free plus a 2.5 and 5.0 free batteries. Hopefully black Friday drops the price on their beautiful 12 inch dual bevel miter saw and 6 tool combo. If I got any $$$ left it'll be for stack pack stuff and their fan 👍🏼. Dewalt has been kinda stinky with quality control between Mexico and China so I'm hoping Flex can hold me down for a while especially with the lifetime warranty. As a tool channel I'm on 8+ tool platforms apart from electrical and plumbing stuff so I try to stay unbiased while staying honest. Keep up the good work, I saw your flex vs the dcd1007, the dewalt is a beast and now has the strongest hammer drill AND strongest high torque impact (XR 961) but between they are probably not fun to carry all day. customer service/warranty and quality control issues are kind of a weak spot for big yellow. 👍🏼
@@TOOL_TECHNICAL that miter saw would be sweet to have. I might go check out this brad nailer as well
Take that sissy bar off that drill!
I got the Hurk!🤷♂️
Here’s a big problem with Lowe’s. Very few professionals shop there, and the few that do only recognize Dewalt. Lowe’s employees don’t even know much about power tools.
@@DiligentDave1966 agreed
@@Kaleb_RoSs I'm not sure if I told you, but the manager suggested that I apply there. I would push people toward Kobalt and Skil for DIY. Heck, I could probably sell Bosch.
@@DiligentDave1966 I’ve thought about getting that 20% discount before lol
@@Kaleb_RoSs Is it 20%? I thought about it, but then I would lose my customer benefits lol. The manager and the pro desk guy know me, and they have made me some exceptional deals on clearance items.
Definitely worth $99
It just proves that good tools go to Lowe’s to die. Lowe’s has been pushing Dewalt and Craftsman, but nothing by Chervon, including their own Kobalt.

A couple weeks or so ago I got the $199 3.5amp kit with the free tool promo plus the Tool Show UA-cam channel had a Flex $50 off code so I got the barrel handle jigsaw for $149 plus tax then shipped for free.
@Unbendable74 DAMN! Whish I could have taken advantage of that one
High torque 3/4 or 1/2?
@@Jon_K8so 1/2” but the 3/4 is also an option
Both
I got the 3/4 and it’s a beast. If the 1/2 mid torque can’t handle it then the 3/4 comes out.
So much for the 12 step program. You fell off the wagon already. 🤣🤣
@@DiligentDave1966 lol I sold my dcd1007 and the Milwaukee
