The best thing Porsche can do going forward is to kill off the horrendous OPCs and sell directly to the public👍

That porshce 911 gt3 with the martini decal is by far one of the nicest looking porsches there because it reminds me of the great lancia delta integrale wich also sported the martini decal👌

Spot on about the new cars. I've pretty much lost all interest in new cars due to the net zero nonsense. Even cancelled all my new car magazine subs. Porsche dealers are also shocking.

Great content for this special anniversary. Porsche cars (especially 911s, I'm biased, 996.1 C2 coupe, 6mt in meridian metallic, being restored with love) and their owners are a lot of fun. My favorites? The 911T? That white speedster? The 73 RS? Honestly, some gorgeous cars on display there, i like em all, even the one with the weird flatnose body kit. I bet it's fun and a great conversation starter. I'm partial to the older 911s, but for economic reasons the 996 was my first, and after a year, might be my last, it's so perfect to drive. Just enough power, perfectly weighted and balanced steering, clutch, brake gas, and shifter, all in perfect harmony. Easily steered with the gas pedal, mine's tuned for slight oversteer, w anti sway bars from eibach. That's all it needed to make it my ideal drivers car. Bliss.

My Fav's. 73RS, 993 Turbo S, 993 Turbo, 993 C2S. Would have had a CGT in first place if there was one there.
Whilst GT3's are great, they lack the 'soul' that air cooled 911's give.

Great overview of the meeting. Loved the ice blue interior of the Targa. Very cool. Is there a term for such a gathering? Like a gaggle of geese, or a murder of crows. Could I suggest a plethora of Porsche.
When I show my 992 Targa4S, I have a one page spec page in the window. I think shows should ask for this to provide great info to the attendees.

Well DamiAn 😊 we seem to see eye to eye on most of the Porsche models 😊👍 still sad you sold your 930 turbo it is the best looking porsche ever! I do like the 993 turbo but I must admit, I have started to prefer the gt silver 996 turbo but I think the coolest not being a 930 turbo is the 996 gt2 ❤️ it is just divine with those twisted turbo rims and the absolute gorgeous rear wing ❤️👍

Every year I ask my dealer for a GT3 and always get turned down despite having cars from them already.....so I understand your frustration..... that classic blue 911 T i just watched a video on Nick Murray’s channel in the same colour ....coincidence 🤔

I owned a 1972 911 T Targa metallic light blue, 996 Turbo, and a 1978 928, drove all 100,000 plus. Different view, if I was to go back and deal with all all the problems, lack of modern safety features and lack of modern engineering I would go back all the way to my 1964 SC , my first Porsche. Currently have 992 Turbo S , my best Porsche yet, selling my 992 GT Touring, which it isn’t, too hard core, currently for sale. I distinguish between one night stands and long term drivers contrary to most commenters.

I agree with you on the deep blue 944 with the aftermarket wheels, very well executed and good enough to accept the mods. Love the guards red 930 we talked with the owner a Thai lady and her husband very interesting couple, not least because she has owned it for 24 years and like you said, look at the condition! Immaculate. I didn't see you sadly, 996.2 c4s is my drive. And loving it ❤
We'll take the 930 Turbo. It's the inverse of our 992 Turbo S, even down to the deviated seat centers... If it's ever for sale, we'd love it.
Any wide body 993 for me tbh....I just love the 993s...But the 2.7 is epic!

Greed is a great motivation for OPC to keep things the way they are, sell a car for high premium, buy it back for same price or slightly less then put back on market and increase by 2-3 fold to sell same product. Why won’t these practices continue!!! 😏

Recently took my 1968 Ivory white 911T by my local OPC to pick up some bits and pieces. Every place I take this car people stop and talk, take photos and really enjoy the car. I love that as much as the car itself. Everywhere that is except the OPC, they had absolutely no interest. Feels like there is a growing separation now between the enthusiasts, those who know about and love the history and tradition of the cars and the OPC widget factories. They could be selling fridges or flat pack kitchens there! No passion or genuine enthusiasm for the brand history. Disappointing. I have owned many 911’s (996/997/991) and currently drive a Panamera 4S Sport Tourismo, like you will not buy a new one again.

An old 911 T for the win. Class. Scared by a 928 but a 993 targa could be a classic for the garage. Or a 944 turbo
The yellow 993 you dont like looks like a Strosek version..
If you want performance then ok the moderns but if you want thrills then you must look at the 911s of the past

A Porsche and Dogging Extravaganza 🎉
Great cars. I've owned 4 Porsche's, a 944 Turbo, 911 3.2 Carerra, a 911 (930 Turbo), similar to the one featured & a 996 GT3. All fantastic cars and wonderfully reliable. I also like some of the modern stuff and kudos to Porsche for sticking with a high revving naturally engine and giving the option of a manual gearbox. Shame about the dealers who according to a good friend of mine and Porsche fanatic are mostly complete c*nts

Would never buy a Porsche from a Porsche dealer. I would look up the closest British Leyland and get the right Porsche.
