As a lifetime 49ers fan, this video just makes me happy that most of my Cowboy fan friends will not have a thing to talk about at work and will avoid talking about football at all costs. I joyfully shared it to every one of them every day for an entire week. Prior to the game they put Cowboys stickers on the windshield of the 336 GC excavator I operate blocking my view, its only fair I shared this video daily with them even months later so they don't forget.

Cowboy fans will remember that "The Catch" was not the heartbreak of that game. There was still decent time left and Cowboys threw a pass to mid-field. They had a center screen set up and it was going to work to get them inside the 35 but Danny White lost a fumble. That was the real pain.

That Rodgers to Cook pass was unreal. Obviously other plays have been made in "bigger" moments...But that might be the most impressive throw / catch of all time.
I believe it was the play right before that where Heath blitzed untouched and blew up Rodgers. Credit to Rodgers, who never saw him coming, for hanging on to the ball. If Heath had been a smart player, he would have stripped Rodgers for a fumble. Then you never know what might have happened.
Oh yeah I'm not a Rodgers fan but the dude has an absolute cannon of an arm making on the run throws. That was an absolute dot and great footwork by Cook on that too.
montana worked really hard on this throw, but ive always thought of this as an easy run of the mill catch, nothing special.
Packers fan from northern Wisconsin. Rodgers to Jared Cook is my all time reception. That got them in field goal range and Mason Crosby hit the FIRST field goal but it did not count because Dallas called time out. But he hit the second one just inside the post. Love to see me some Jerry Jones. Just Sayin'.

As a Skol Vikings fan, the misery we have lived is epic. Not to throw any shade on those Cowboy loses at all. Cowboy fans are a passionate fan base that I've grown to appreciate. Our fan base both hate losing period. However at the start of the Super Bowl era, my Vikes were in 4 of em and lost em all. Then came the Hail Mary from Staubach to Pearson in the 1975 Playoff game. From there their have been 6 straight NFC Championship Game loses in a row. Not to mention some devastating 1st round playoff loses and regular season loses. We pray for that day( Before we die) when we will be called Super Bowl Champions....

Witch is more painful for Cowboys fans the late 1980's in 89 going 1-15, the Bears in 85 crushing them 44-0, losing to Rams in 85 playoffs 20-0, 2000-02 5-11. Witch is the more bitter pill to swallow. I love those moments.

Funny how none of this occurred during The Tom Landry Era. I take that back, the Jackie Smith drop in Super Bowl XIII was during the Landry era. But with the Steelers as far away from Smith as The Florida Keys, Roger Staubach could've lofted the ball to Smith for a Touchdown.
