Thanks for the video Sir. I successfully swapped this part out today. My toddler was napping and I did my best to hurry. Took my cruise afterwards to make sure it's good and it appears solid!
Good video. Saved me a bunch of time watching this first I’m sure. One thing that helped me with that bottom bolt was using a 6” extension on the ratchet. It was ratchet, 6” extension, swivel adapter (flex) and socket. Puts the ratchet in a better pocket to operate. Hope that helps. Thanks for the info.
Very nice camera work .. very detailed.. something that gave encouragement to this on my own since I got the same model vehicle. P.s. you should really upgrade those plastic Y pipes to the aluminum ones.. i had two of them burst at the same time leaking all the antifreeze out.. just an idea for your next video im guessing, cheers!
Not looking forward to doing this. Got the P0401 code drving back from my dad's funeral Utah to Texas. Still ran fine for the last couple hours, but need it fixed anyway. Doesn’t look fun. To think the previous dodge design to this engine, they had the egr valve sticking right out on the top/front of the engine. Easiest job in the world with that design!

Don't be sorry. Just don't be stupid. Turn the volume down and use close captioning. Annoying things like cars passing by and you are just part of life.
Amazingly clean engine. Makes it easier to see the bolts. And they came out so easy for you. I'm going to try this myself, hopefully it goes as easy.

Thank you for your video. It helped me tremendously today! My first time preparing something on me vehicle. I feel proud. Thanks for your help!

this was very helpful and you made it look way easier than it was. i had a very hard time getting the bottom bolt out and in.
video time 30 min... but he sped up the 30 extra min pulling out the bolts ... very true not a easy job
I just did mine today and I played hell getting the two back ones at the bottom out
@@kimberlyleighton161 how about back in?
Thank you for making this video! I want to try to replace my EGR sensor myself and you made it make so much more sense. Looks pretty simple!
Awesome video, thank you very much for sharing,Mr
That was a good video. Even when you dropped the wrench; that's part of it too.
If you don't drop a tool, did you really fix it?

It's great watching you. Knowlegeable and Human. Hand tool based too.

Excellent camera work. I will be tackling this exact thing with your video playing nearby. Great job. You get a like and a sub. 😄

"I hate that part" lol we have all been there brother
What were your symptoms
Check engine on and random misfire p0300
Mine was just the check engine light that I had diagnosed at Auto Zone. The sales guy said nothing bad would happen just poorer gas mileage.
Same thing with my van. Check engine light came on last week. The diagnostic test said EGR sensor. I hope I can fix this myself.
Sorry, but the noise of cars passing is very, very annoying.
I know man
