Such a great actor and still young! My favorite character he played was Red in Three Billboards. I feel like he got snubbed for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar in that.
This is an example of somebody who is very unique in their own right and is often cast because they are not only a good actor but that uniqueness still shines through in every character they play. I am not saying he is equal to, but it is a similar philosophy that you would find with Christopher Walken or even an Aubrey Plaza. He is just quirky and weird enough with every character, and I would argue he is just quirky and weird enough in real life.
I just watched Caleb in 'Nitram' and it was very naturalistic and of course, as an Australian; I was utterly convinced by his accent and the film itself was terrifying.

hearing him talk makes me wanna sleep, like it calms me or sets me in a dreamy mood, he sounds like he wants to sleep so bad or he's high asfuck and he transfer that feeling to me idk

Now I know it's just his voice lol. He kinda reminds me of the American version of Alfie Allen. Can you imagine how surreal it would be watching a buddy road trip movie or something starring Caleb Landry Jones and Alfie Allen?

i wanna see all of the mutants who died in first class again :( we never got to see them develop, or even see them in passing in the other movies. they’re fictional characters, and marvel ones at that, so they could be resurrected at any time if someone wanted them back bad enough. but i just wish they never died in the first place

His acting in his final scene in Twin Peaks: The Return is riveting. The character is a crazy mess by then, but he's so intense and emphatic with every word. I saw him in several things that came out the same year (Get Out, Three Billboards, Florida Project), and he was always so different. I had no idea until now that he was the bike boy in No Country and Walt Jr.'s best friend on Breaking Bad.
I thought there was never going to be anyone who held the amount of sheer insanity and psychotic likability that heath ledger brought to the joker... but I think caleb landry jones could be exactly that.
