      He's listed as one of the celebrities who's pretty low maintenance despite the wealth he has and spending mostly only on musical instruments like guitars, and with him too supporting various charitable organisations and even giving more money to one of his fans who was tirelessly working as a waitress who had served him by chance at a restaurant from a fan encounter I read on twitter, as much as I loathe that site and even this place, but I come on sites like here still just to catch up on the stuff I want to. And none of his other co-stars so far made it on that list which I read recently. Just wished he will hang out more often with better company like Jamie Bell and Paul Rudd whom he has mingled with since they seemed to be more genuinely friendly with him, which I can't say for some others I won't name here.

    I'm glad he sees it as well. The FIRST Twilight was actually pretty good for what it was. Catherine Hardwicke captured the angsty awkwardness of teens super well and there was humor/irony to it and an almost indie-film vibe, plus the casting was great. The movie overall felt authentic and far superior to it's literary source. Then the studio smelled the cash cow and milked it by breaking it down to bad cliches and grandiose gestures. Evening the lighting and set design went downhill. All a bit to shiny and meh...

And they each express how they are not jaded after all the films they've done, ranging from popular blockbusters to small indie films. They always have fun with the immersion of their characters, though constantly expressing insecurities about their work and performances. But they are both brilliant actors who are very passionate about what they do. It's a wonderful thing to hear them articulate their processes in these "breaking down film career" type videos.

I love the good words he spends about every character he played, about every actor and director he has worked with so far... I love his total dedication to make each character the best always... and most of all I love his way to follow his intuition, no matter what... even if people around him may suggest he should change something, he just follows his way, because as long as he feels there is something good about it, he will go for it... Well, as an old Twilight stan it's always been so funny watching him hate these movies. It was a big comedic element to us fans especially since we knew that he was an amazing artsy actor who was highly underappreciated, wasting away in a ridiculous cheesy fantasy romance. On the other side twilight was an escape from reality for many young women and girls and it's been close to my heart even though I know it's trashy.

  • @jobsmine
    @jobsmine 2 роки тому +35

    I had a fan experience & an opportunity to watch the Batman. What an awesome introduction to an even more grounded, young, and restless Bruce Wayne. With only two years for young Batman, the film is dark, it’s gritty and it’s all about the detective work. This is why we all love Batman because he has so many layers upon layers to explore. Matt Reeves just revolutionized the Riddler. Paul Dano was amazing, pretty much every cast is amazing. What I really like is that the film shows us how young Batman is scared to even fly off high-rise buildings still, but also throws out his body with no hesitation to enemy bullets, sometimes not being able to control his anger during a fight. He gets shot in the chest, punched in the head, and doesn’t give in. But above all it haunts him to see anyone get hurt because he’s still affected by the death of his parents. The cinematography is amazing, and boy the city of Gotham is just on another level. You’ll get scared to even pass by the city let alone live there. Shows the true nature of corruption and political deceives. Reeves created a unique Batman set just as Nolan’s was different than Tim Burton, as well as for Zack Snyders Batman. Each director builds their own unique elements and universe for Batman. Perhaps the greatest advantage is that character Batman is so versatile and any director can interpret it based on the excellent comic books written. DC needs to focus on these kinds of movies because honestly, they’re just perfect. I’m hoping we will get another amazing trilogy if it continues like this. My respects to all the previous and current directors for giving us different types of Batman. I really like all the Batman iterations since 2005. (Baleman, Batfleck. & Battison).

    he is such an incredible actor, one that i think has been really successful at rebranding themselves to be more that the role they were first known for. he's got so much variety, i feel that he could play almost anything, and that's really special.

    The Batman was a crime film more than a action film, which I LOVED! Reminded me of Se7en and Zodiac which I already loved, looking forward to more!

    He reminds me abit of Heath Ledger. His attention to his acting craft and discomfort with fame.

    I think that Pattinsons portrayal of batman is so dark and i just love it for some reason. Like the movie was almost like a horror movie or maybe just a thriller. It's tough to play batman when there has been alot before him, but he made a good movie in the end. It's kinda like James Bond because Daniel Craig is in my opinion the best James Bond there is, but it's such a reputation to live up to when you take on such a role.

    I didn’t believe he would pull off the Batman and he absolutely did! And I’m not saying he’s the best but his Batman voice is the best! There is a difference between his Bruce and Bat voice, while also not being to wide of a difference.

    We loved his performance in the Lighthouse. I never really paid much attention to him before that film [sorry, it was because I hated the Twilight movies..loved the books, not that I cared that they made a movie anyway--watched it out of morbid curiosity and just couldn't sit through it]. But he's got great talent and I love his approach to his art. It's very freeing.
