This will be running soon! Just needs some gaskets and proper nuts.... next video reassemble, balance, and tune!
Watching now!! I like my dual Weber 34s! They run well!
They're great when they're tuned right and not falling off haha!
Good job Duckman. Look foreward to the next instalment !!
Thanks Paul! This car turned out great! Moving onto the next one, and a little more Eleanore this week, too!
Good tutor carburator rebuild. I used to love the Dynosours TV show. My favorite episode was when the baby ate a whole bag of sugar and flew around the house.😅
LoL! That baby was a piece of work! Stole the show!
For that little spring that fell from the linkage I suggest you put wheel bearing grease in the hole where it goes in the linkage. Not only does that help keep it inside but it helps the linkage work smoother. That’s the way I have it on my CB Performance Hex Bar linkage for my Dellortos. Also a great idea to keep all the heim joints oiled with at least 3 in 1 oil.
Thanks, I do usually grease them in, or sometimes hook them around the bushing if possible. Its strange that I always find these out and about, but this time I knocked them out haha!
Hope all is well Glenn. We have been pelted with rain and ice here in Cali.
Oh man... rain here... when it feels like, lol... today is one such day! VIDEO EDIT DAY!
Good job Glenn, seeing that Teflon tape in that carb. I've seen that before with the snotty consistently when someone uses the non gas tape( not the yellow stuff) for threads and it partially dissolves and plugs shit up. Looks like the last person buggered a lot of that job up.
Heh, always use the yellow stuff. I really didn't expect to find that in there. Oddly, it wasn't in the threads anywhere at all!
Without your tree shade , I can see an easy up or some form of tarp to give you shade in the heat of summer, nothing will stop the duck man …!
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
nice job.
Thanks! I appreciate it, Jim!
Thanks for the badass video
Glad you liked it! Thanks so much!
Glad your doing good
Thanks Andy, how are you?
Doing good buddy
Awesome dude!
Doing well thanks
I still say that you're the best
Well a big thank you my friend! I need all the support I can get sometimes!
Just wish that I lived closer so that I could do so work with you
That'd be cool! TECH SESSION AT DUCKMAN'S!
Could I get a 72 camper van there I miss mine
@@Yogenh Maybe someday, but I don't usually keep 72 campers in stock... if you know what I'm talking about LOL! But one may pop up for sale somewhere else in town
Duckman is human.... Hmmm
What of Duckman was a duck?
*Duck Man hop onto the table with the 2 IDK Weber Carbs, pecks at the, flaps wings, struts around them in a circle, peck at them some more, flaps wings and hops of the table to waddle away...*
Carbs cleaned and fixed!
Haha, that about sums in up!
That bug would benefit greatly to have the access holes for the carburetors. Do you ever offer or suggest them to the owner's vws you are working on? You are definitely good with carburetors. 🦆👍
If I were building the car yeah I might recommend it. But in this case the only one carburetor windows are going to benefit is me LOL!
@@DuckmanCycles that is true.👍😁
Hehe, but don't think I didn't discuss the option! 😁👍🦆💩
Would a extension that has ball on the that allows the socket to swivel? swivel extension, just a thought, obviously I have never worked on one😂😅 thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Swivel does not fit, I think I mentioned this in the video. The nuts are just wrong for this setup.
@@DuckmanCycles the swivel extension is only a ball instead of a square at the end of it, but if the nut is larger than intended, then nothing can help 🤣
Carburetor clearance issues, there are "warts" on the carbs. Socket won't quite get it. Almost... but no.
@@DuckmanCycles and with the proper sized nuts give more clearance 🤣😅 got ya all the best
😁👍🦆💩
Question I just got my Bug. I got a 1641 with ignition. I wanna put dual carburetors. It’s my daily driver so I wanted to go on the consistent side . Should I go 34 mm 36 or 40mm for better fuel mileage
Hi Rod! I answered that exactly in this comprehensive video that I just uploaded recently! Have a look, lots of details crammed in there! ua-cam.com/users/shorts0FRFR77SSf8
Just because shes not arround no need to use her tooth brush to clean the webbers 😂😂😜
😁👍🦆💩 HAHAHA! There would be no reason to go that route... but that's MY toothbrush. :: prances around ::

Yep, lol.... haha
