Aloha Michelle & Jose! Wow all these flavors I love! Love ube, turon and pandan. How innovative to have turon boba drinks. I don't think I've ever seen that before. LCC has a great culinary program and you can eat pretty decent meals at their cafeteria. I remember eating there when I used to counsel kids and we'd show them around colleges to prep them for life after high school. One day you should try the food because it's not too expensive. Anyways, I love love the shirts. Because you can hold the mac for me since I don't eat it and the GI Joe ALOHA shirt is super cool! Mahalo again for showing these businesses no one else has shown before!

Aloha Misty!! Sama Sama is definitely creating some amazing flavors in their drinks. The Filipino fusion of flavors in liquid form are so unique and comforting at the same time which definitely sets them apart from other boba/bubble tea shops. We have seen their culinary department featured on numerous segments on KHON so we can see they’re doing great things. We never thought about trying the food before but that would definitely be interesting to try on our next trip out. You should definitely pick up the shirt from T&C Surf or the one from VH07V. Our two favorite shops that are must go to’s when on the island. Please if you ever get a chance to visit Sama Sama at LCC or one of their pop ups…try several drinks because you’ll love them!! 😋🤙🏽🙌🏽

@@michellejosefoodandtravel you know what we went to a food truck thing last night and I got the turn. So good! They were there. Lol. I haven't stepped into a T&C since high school. I'm so old. 🤣 but I'll definitely check it out and the VLOHV store down the street from me. Mahalo Michelle & Jose!

Hi Rod!! Thank you for the kind words. The owners of Sama Sama are such a great couple and we absolutely love how they’ve taken Filipino flavors that many of us have grown to love and turned them into drinks!! It was a must for us to check out their first brick and mortar. They’re a go to for us when in O’ahu as no one else does what they do. You and the Mrs should check them out on your next trip at one of their pop ups or even at LCC if adventures take you near there. Aiea and Pearl City have so many hidden gems for food. You can also catch them closer to town as they are always at UH in Manoa in the little food truck circle that’s on campus!! 😋🧋

Hi guys!! That was a lot of drinks. LOL. I haven’t had one yet, but those looked good. Especially the Ube!! And the last one…Espresso Latte one!
Coconut and coffee? That sounds great!! Minus the vinegar 😂.
Never knew we could walk onto a college campus if you didn’t work or attend classes there. Good to know 👍🏼. Mahalo for the video guys!!!

Aloha urs!! We wish we could’ve fit a couple more drinks honestly but as you know stomach space is at a premium!! 🤣😂 You would definitely enjoy their drinks. The Filipino flavors are so good in liquid form!! Ha ha ha don’t ask why vinegar came out instead but yeah no vinegar in the drinks!! 😂 Honestly we didn’t even think twice about going on campus and not being a student. They’re easily located right off one of the parking lots so not deep into the campus. They’re also at UH in Manoa in their truck along with other food trucks in the little food truck circle. We visited them and one of our other favorite trucks Evisuya there too!! Evisuya has unique musubis. Mahalo nui to you as always for your continued support. We love hearing from you every time. Have a great weekend!! 🤙🏽🙌🏽☺️😊🌺

Howzit Michelle and Jose!!! I was raised in Pearl City. I got 2 degrees from LCC, but haven't been there in decades. They have a wonderful culinary department. Do you know if Sama Sama Tea is part of LCC or is it a private business? The drinks looked so refreshing.
    🍍😎🤙🌴🥥🌺🌈

After a quick Google search, it appears to be a private local business. That's awesome!

Aloha BraddahBruce!! We had no idea Pearl City was your stomping grounds. LCC is a pretty big campus. We’ve seen their culinary department quite often featured on KHON so we can definitely see they’re pretty skillful. As you googled, Sama Sama is a private locally owned business. They first started with pop ups and their truck which is how we discovered them. The owners are amazing and so very passionate about what they do so when we heard they were opening up their first brick and mortar we had to check it out. Definitely cool and refreshing drinks packed with the Aloha and Filipino spirit!! Hope you are doing well and getting ready for the holidays. Mahalo as always for your continued support. Have a great weekend! 🤙🏽🙌🏽☺️
