You are my fave Iranian cook to date... my mother in law is very proud that I being from Colombia cook all your dishes for my hubby ❤️thank you for all the dishes...I've made soooo many!
Im is Vietnamese but my partner is Iranian, i try to cook many kind of different Iranian foods from your recipe, im follow step by step exactly the ingredients what you put inside and let he try, we are absolutely love it. Thank you so much. Hope you well, make more video and let we learn about Iranian foods.
Thank you sir I keep watching your and your abgoush also I liked. I save all your recipes and share it to my sister and son in law because they like Persian food. Sir only thing one request please put sub titles because I have to keep going back to see the ingredients.
Finally some Persian dish explained in English with beautiful and sincere Persian accent. I enjoy watching this rather than those exaggerating and overacting ones trying to speak perfect English.
After the success of using your Khoresh Bademjan recipe I've raided your channel for many other recipes. We're basically having Persian Week at my house and my 14yo stepson is so excited! Thank you for these tutorials!
I've used this recipe three times now, so I should probably comment haha! Thanks so so much for your recipe. My husband has loved it every single time I've made it for him (it's his favourite dish, so that must say something).
Made it today with some adjustments (used veal and fresh okra; added some pomegranate molasses, but eliminated the saffron). The stew turned out extremely delicious and absolutely mind-blowing. Thank you so much for taking your time to share with us this recipe!
Hello. I'm new here. It looks absolutely delicious. I need to ask you a question. Please let me know how to get rid of the slime. I'd really appreciate it..thank you
oh wonderful. I just cooked my first pot of Khoresh Bamieh. The entire house smells delightful & my husband thanks you from the bottom of his heart. Have you ever used a crockpot for this type of dish?
Hi Yousef. 2 questions if I may. How do you prepare the okra prior to them sautéed? Do you just bring them to a boil in a pan of water and drain? Also, does 1 cup of okra serve 2 people?
I noticed you didn’t get a response, so I thought I would help. Don’t boil the okra, whether fresh or frozen, before sautéing(frying), it will be overcooked and mushy in the stew. That’s why Yousef added the fried okra in the last 15-20 minutes of cooking the stew. If using the frozen okra, thaw & pat excess liquid with paper towel before tossing into oil (will lessen the spluttering/popping of the oil). 2 cups okra should be fine for 1.5 lbs. of beef; less or more is up to your liking. I hope this information is useful.
I have learned how to make rice by watching your video. As for the frozen okra, do you thaw first before frying?? I am going to use crockpot for this, I think the result would be just as good!!
Perfect! I had this stew at a Persian restaurant and I really wanted to find a recipe to make it. It looks delicious. I hope mine will will turn out the same. Thanks & God bless.
It’s amazing thank you for sharing the recipe I added a few extra things you’ve mentioned into my existing recipe and now it’s perfection! 😊👌🏼 I really love the authentic content of your channel and have viewed all of your recipes on your channel!
I LOOOVE this ..much healthy an that badajon , BUT i usually make this or Koorash badajon , always add Kora or badajon to either Kooresh, but like always i make with chicken , not eating red meat much, only if i have guess coming make it with lamp , cant have red meat much ...VERY delicious Koorash thanks , Yumm Yum 😛😜
Hi Yousef. In a lot of your recipes you mention chili powder, and sometimes you mention red pepper. Can you please tell me if your container says CHILI POWDER or if you really mean CAYENNE (which is like ground hot red pepper). Thank you so much!
This dish has become my favorite meal. It is delish!!!! My family and friends also can't get enough of it. I prepared it with chicken thighs and breasts. I bought some saffron threads and mixed about 10 threads with water to add in the stew but really did not taste a difference in the flavor. Any suggestions on the saffron mixture?

Many thanks, Yousef, from Catalonia !! 🙏⚘🌿
I always have problem making liquid saffron. I'm very happy to hear you're planning on making a video about it.
It's very easy, just add some hot water to some ground saffron. I'll show the process in my next video hopefully.

Cayenne :)
I want to make it known in Croatia in Slovenia and in the Balkan known as well.
🥳🥳💯😋

I really enjoy this dish. Where can I find the complete recipe?
I never got around to adding the ingredients list to the older videos. It is on my to-do list :)

I bought some saffron threads and mixed about 10 threads with water to add in the stew but really did not taste a difference in the flavor. Any suggestions on the saffron mixture?
The flavor is nuanced and just as important is the color. I have a video that shows how I make liquid saffron, maybe that can help 💚
I heard that this dish originated from Africa.
Hello! Thank you for this video :) Can you also put dry lemons into the stew?
No, doesn't work well with this food :)
Nice thanks for sharing it Yousef, may I know where do you live?
So Cal
Really I want to learn persian dishes
What kind of chili do you use? Paprika, cayenne?
Yes, cayenne.
thank you!
You're welcome!
Does anyone know if this can be done in a slow cooker?
Yes it can. But saute your meat first and then put it in the slow cooker and put the rest in it.
I used vegan meatballs instead, and it was also delicious!
Hi how long does it take in total to make?
Depends on how fast your meat cooks and how long you let it simmer. When everything is put together, about 30min.
