I just found your video and am enjoying your recipe and teaching style. My family’s personal touch would be some cumin and cilantro. We are Persians from India and our Persian food always has some good Indian spices
The most delicious Adasi i had it was in Tehran and probably 20 something years ago, when we were at station 7 of mount Touchal before going for skiing. It had dried lemon and potatoes in it and a special spice which gives it good flavor i don't remember now! Thanks for the video, reminds me good memories in Iran.
I just found your channel and have been watching as many videos as I can. I love how calm you are in the kitchen. I made this stew last night for dinner and am having leftovers for dinner tonight. This is the best lentil stew I've tried. Thank you!

Im mexican, and this is the way we cook the lentil soup in my grandmas and my moms house excatamente así plus a bit of cilantro before turning the fire off, it cooks in a couple of min with the lid closed and only we add boiled eggs when served and oh my!!!! 🤤🤤 im moving my behind to my kitchen right now, time to eat memories 😅🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Thank you for this Adasi. Looks real good. Probably I'm going to make this soon in this chilly and grey november-period. Might warm both heart and stomach.

Hi Yousef, I love watching all your videos, I have been cooking middle eastern foods for about 3 decades now 😅, but I’m always learning new tips, we do enjoy spicy food in this house, so I wanted to ask you what kind of chili powder do you use??is it Cayenne pepper? Thanks for sharing all your wonderful dishes and expertise 🙏
I'll have to try this recipe since I love lentils and Iranian food. Years ago I had a wonderful Iranian sweet and sour beet and beet greens soup, but I haven't found a recipe for it anywhere. If you know a good recipe for it, please do a segment on it. Thank you!
Was your friend from Yazd? There is a soup called Ashe-shooli which is made from lentils and beetroot. My mum’s friend made it the other day and I had it for the first time.
Not only the soup warmed my heart but every video Yousef makes! Thank you! I cannot wait for the next video.
Thank you so much!!

I make this but never put potato’s or carrots in but I do add dried lemon. I will try your version- just right now winter is around the corner.
I add juice with 2 lemons on the end -and I cry it was so delicious ...So healthy option!
Going to make this today, can’t wait!

instead of meat, try melting some pepper jack cheese (or cheddar) in the soup. also a few spoons of tomato paste. you ll love the taste
amazing, that its vegan!

Uncle Yousef, I think it would be fun to have a special cooking video in Farsi with English Subtitles :)
That’s a nice idea. I’ll try to figure out how to add subtitles
Thank you
