    Quick tip: you can use vegetable broth in place of the bouillon cubes if you’d like. Just substitute the water with vegetable broth and omit the bouillon cubes - that’s it! Enjoy 🍝

      I would listen to that! I loved the short 'crossover series' she did with Gaz Oakley (Avantgarde Vegan). I thought their relationship came across really well and I would definitely like to hear interviews with other chefs/ nutritionists/ cooks/ plant-based humans that were a little more personal. Could record the podcast then have a supplementary (vegans love supplements) video that they record after the podcast that goes up on her channel. This could draw viewers from her youtube channel to the podcast, and visa versa. Will also be nice to listen to a podcast which isn't produced by a middle-aged white guy.

      Hi! What would justify this replacement? Is it price (coconut milk is much more expensive than the other two ingredients) or health (boosting protein content)? Thank you!

    • @tstack5233
      @tstack5233 5 років тому +32

      octopu5ie Maybe someone doesn’t like the taste of coconut milk or they don’t like the high fat content. Fat has more than twice the calories per gram than carbs or protein and for some of us, that causes problems. Others have no problems with it.

    Pretty sure this is illegal in Italy where I live but I'd love to try it ☺️

    • @robenkhoury7079
      @robenkhoury7079 5 років тому +4

      Why is it illegal?

    • @jawbreaker8125
      @jawbreaker8125 5 років тому +81

      Because this is not the right way to cook pasta, stirred vegetables and pasta should be cooked separately, then stirred together in a pan depending on the recipe. If you put pasta in and reduce the broth it is going to make pasta "scotta", meaning it will be gluey 'cause it was cooked too much. Obviously everybody can enjoy pasta as they like to, but that is really not a thing in Italy

    Thank you Sadia for all your warm & beautiful videos. Can we have more seasonal cooking? I know you do it by category of food but I think it does encourage people to cook zucchini & tomatoes during winter...with all the consequences on the environment.

    OMG these pasta dishes look insane!!!! And I absolutely love the way you cook it all in the same pot so less washing up - Genius - my kind of cooking. 🤪😋
    I'd love to see you do a Puttenesca type spaghetti without the anchovies of course, but capers and dulse would be good substitutes. J'adore puttenesca ♡

    Could you do a video (or an article) about grains? Which are the healthiest? Which flours to use for baking? Also, when wanting to loose weight, how important are breaks between meals? Should I not eat before going to sleep? How many meals should I have? How important is the size of my meal? Also, on the other note, maybe you could do a video on how to read labels? It would help so much in finding the right, healthy food. Thank you! Your videos are truly inspiring and helpful. I share them to friends and family and hope that they will follow a healthy lifestyle with your help

    Hello from Thailand! Just made the creamy mushroom pasta and it was so so good. Modifications were substituting sun-dried tomatoes with a can of crushed (used less broth), "Chinese" kale instead of spinach, and limes instead of lemons. This has got to be a new staple to be thrown into rotation. Thanks, Sadia!
