Hey 'your big sis' - no way you're thanking me right now. I want to thank YOU! Thanks for being here with us, and for being interested in what we put out there. I'm sorry you had to go through a hard time, but I'm sure you already know you're beautiful through and through. Thanks for sharing your love and light 🤗 sending a huuuuuge hug!
Sadia I agree! Your videos make me so happy and are a part of my “be kind and gentle with my sweet self’ mental health practice. Thank you for the love & magic you two share with the world! ❤
Feel free to give a little thanks in dollars if you feel it is well deserved, the icon is in the same line as the like and share button, just in case you just overlooked it. I also feel like this is too worthy to be for free. :)
I swear you just changed my life with the frozen ginger root because I never manage to use all of it before it goes bad. Definitely going to try some of these!
I just made the home style garlic chili noodles and I am never having a takeout ever again!!! IT WAS AMAZINGGGGG. I didn’t even have gochugaru so I replaced it with chili flakes and still it is now on top 3 fav dishes of mine!! Thank you so much, Sadia, for sharing such amazing recipes and overall a very feel-good content.
Can I say that your videos are therapeutic. The calming green nature backdrops, crisp video, cleanliness, lovely smiles, food, story and conversation. Feels like coming home to eat with family, every time… Much love. ❤
Yesss to the bibimbap! As for the other, we do have a (spicy) orange glazed tofu recipe that might be similar 😉: www.pickuplimes.com/recipe/sticky-orange-glazed-tofu-320
"If you aggravate the tofu, it'll crumble"..what a life lesson! Respect people's space!! Great recipes as usual Sadia! And PUL community: great questions in the comment section! Thank you!
I just made the home style garlic chili noodles and they were SO good. I didn’t even have gochugaru because I couldn’t find any nearby (I used paprika and chili flakes instead), and I only had normal rice vinegar and soy sauce. Even then, it was still really good!! Thank you Sadia!
Perfect timing, I stopped ordering takeouts because it was just pricey and it definitely gets cold once it delivered. I’ve been meal prepping more and it also gets boring sometimes. The recipes in this video is definitely going to be a nice change here and I love LOVE a good noodles bowl. Definitely takes me back to my college years too 😂 Thanks Sadia and PUL team 💕
you have more control if you literally order takeout (pick up) rather than delivery. You never know how long your order will sit on the counter at the restaurant before a delivery person claims it, and then the delivery person might make several other deliveries before getting to your address. I gave up on delivery many years ago mostly because of this problem. Takeaways are much more reliable than delivery.
You’re so generous in your videos - great recipe ideas, intros to new products, and helpful tips, all in 10 minutes with gorgeous art production! You’re killing it!!
these recipes look so flavorful and delicious, not to mention the impeccable cinematography and how eloquent and informative you are!! after finding your channel i’ve been so obsessed and inspired. i always order indian or korean when i get takeout, but with my digestive issues i really wanted a vegan rendition-so this helps out incredibly! korean dishes would be lovely to see next!! thank you for all your hard work in your videos, they are so therapeutic and lovely to watch!
Just made those noodles and they were so good I was holding back tears of joy!!! I love recipes that are SIMPLE, QUICK, and AMAZING! Thank you so much!
I’m having some rough low appetite problems related to my disability, and your channel has been really helpful for helping me eat what I can be sure are nutrient dense and balance meals at least a few times a week. I’m over the fast weight loss, hair thinning, and worsening illness symptoms from lack of nutrition, but I can count on Pick Up Limes every time :) edit: my absolute fave takeout is pad se ew from a specific restaurant, and although I order it at every Thai restaurant we go to, it’s always so dry and flavourless. The good version is soooo saucy and the noodles they use are hand torn rice noodles which makes it hard to beat!
I encounter this problem every so often due to chemotherapy and the often awful side effects thereof. As you know, you have to eat especially when going through a rough period. Living in an Indian household, I have found that dal and rice are my saviors, be it sambar, spinach dal, tomato dal, etc. Curd rice also is helpful. I hope you can find something palatable and nutritious during your rough patches, all the better if from this channel. These noodles, would probably make with tofu seared in the hot oil instead of edamame, look like a good candidate. Another problem I have sometimes: I develop aversions to foods that sustain me during rough periods, because they become closely associated with ongoing nausea; thus, in my experience, it is best to have a few good things and rotate them a bit to avoid having that happen with favorites. Good luck to you.
@@richardwallace6313 thank you! i find that rotating a few easy meals is usually a good strategy, so I just try and make sure they’re each as nutrient dense as possible! this channel, and a few other plant-based ones, make it easy to narrow down my choices. best wishes to you as well.
Absolutely amazing as always! I love how you add the greens and edamame as a side for extra nutrients, and it’ll still feel like takeout with them! Can’t wait to try it. I would love more takeout style videos like this: hot and sour soup, veggie fried rice and teriyaki tofu would be some great additions! Thank you PUL for all that you do!!
Happy to report that the ‘home-style’ garlic noodles were a hit with my little family! It was dangerously easy for the meal to come together, and delicious. 💕
Wow, a bit of a different style video than I'm used to from you but I really dig it!! Editing was super fun (props to whoever on your team did that!) and the upbeat music really brings it all together! PUL vibes never fail to soothe me and make me feel happy and excited to cook :) Lots of love!!

Thank you for those recipes Sadia. As a RD myself, I really appreciate your "healthier" versions. Those fancy noodles are hard to find even in Calgary. Thanks for making plant based food looking so delicious.
I discovered your channel yesterday and I watched your video based on journal writing. When I saw you, the first thing that popped into my head is "WHAT AN ANGEL, MY GOSH SHE'S GORGEOUS 😍." I get that you're married but an honest compliment works for everyone☺️.

Recently purchased these Taiwanese ramen pack from a local Asian grocery store. Always wanted to try their flat ribbon noodles. But once I opened it, I did not want to use the packets with the chili oil and other seasonings in the plastic packets, so quickly made my own version. It was okay in flavor, but it could have been better. So was happy to see you've re-created this dish! Yay! Gonna make it later for dinner. Thanks Sadia! 😄
You READ MY MIND! Thank you! This might be an obscure request, but my all time favourite takeaway (I'm in Ireland) is a Spice Bag! It's a little brown bag with chips (fries) that are thick cut, fried veg like onion, garlic, chillies, and it usually has chunks of crispy chicken (which I omit). It's so nasty and so good, but I'd love to make it myself!
Hi Sadia ! Loved your video ! Thank you for the tip about the frozen ginger !! I always struggle with all those fibers ! 😅 I really enjoy how there is always something to take away from your videos and all the tips you share. Thank you, Robin and all the PUL team for your great work ! Cheers from France ! 😊 And loved the bloopers ! 👍🏻
Woah I’ve never cooked noodles like the first version before. Definitely going to try it! Also, I hardly get takeaways, but every now and then I succumb to laziness and get food delivered and I get disappointed EVERY TIME. I just don’t feel satisfied or even feel like crap afterwards sometimes and regret spending $30-$50.
Hey Sadia, I've been following you for several years since my undergrad in Canada, but it's my first time commenting! I just wanna say you selected a very good vinegar because it's what I consider the best brand in China that is very tasteful and smells real nice.

I'm so excited to give these a try Sadia!! It's been such a long time since I had takeout but when I did it was almost always something Indian inspired, Thai or pizza.

Hi Sadia, I absolutely love your content. You radiate positive energy in all your videos. Thanks for spreading joy 😊. Could you also please make a few videos on diet/recipes to be followed when planning for a pregnancy ,during and after pregnancy? It will be really helpful for a lot of people.
Just made the spicy noodles, super tasty. I used pak choi and sum choi and actually just stir fried them in the sauce before putting the noodles and endamame in. I used quarter the quantity of gochugaru just because I have little ones and then made a bit extra sauce with more spice for the adults. I could only find pad thai noodles but these worked fine. I ordered the gochugaru online - I have enough to last a lifetime now! Thanks for a delicious recipe. I'm sure it is much healthier than buying premade sauces.
Sadia, I've been waiting for this, as I have all the ingredients including gochugoru. I'm looking forward to make this for my dinner tonight, thank you for the recipe.
Hi Sadia. I'm so happy that you cooked our Indian recipe. Actually in India we say this recipe as Paneer Tikka Masala or Paneer Butter Masala if it's a dairy product. Otherwise it's Tofu. I welcome you to India to taste our dish and don't forget to share your views with us 😄👍😉. Sending you lots of love from India💓☺️.

Oh my God !! The editing is so so better and awesome. Love it. Worth the wait 😃💚💚 Also the recipes are so exciting and fresh. Can't wait to try them out. Honestly, I highly appreciate the fact that we all feel so connected watching PUL videos. Love yaa !!
Love all of your videos 🤗
Just such an amazing channel. Will forever be a fan of such wholesome people 😊
I haven’t watched one of your videos in a while… your editing style has gotten so good! ❤
Sadia, I've been waiting for this, as I have all the ingredients including gochugoru. I'm looking forward to make this for my dinner tonight, thank you for the recipe.
The best thing about your videos is the visuals. Thank you for making cooking so, beautiful. :)
Salivating just watching!!!! I am so putting these recipes to the test, it looks incredible!
I love this video! I was thinking I would love to see a video from you that would be recommendations of things to cook for a dinner party/ more time consuming meals that would be reserved for the weekend! :)
