Sorin Markov interrupts the wedding of Olivia Voldaren. While he seeks to win back his Grandfather, Edgar Markov, the Planeswalker will do ANYTHING to prevent their union.
Olivia has brought a gift for her groom, the archangel Sigarda. Captured, the vampires look to feast on the angels blood to increase their power. Olivia herself would then gain control over every angel on Innistrad. Speak now or forever hold your peace, Sorin.
This is a dramatic reading of the Innistrad: Crimson Vow storyline. All credit of written works go to the original author.

Olivia is so over the top, and Sorin is so angsty and brooding, it’s hilarious.
One thing Rivera did really well was making EVERYBODY absolutely insufferable at this wedding. And your reading did bring all of this to life.
Olivia as Sorin's new Grandmother would make a great story for an Un-Set
I miss Avacyn so much, i want her to swoop in and purify this entire wedding!
I can just imagine Olivia's face when she says. Sorin you're ruining my wedding. Sorin on honey badger mode.
Olivia is a supervillain; she's knows all about ✨presentation✨.
Also, you have to admire how good she is at pushing all of Sorin's specific buttons 🤭
The fact Olivia left Sorin in the rock instead of killing him show how much she enjoys torture and mockery. Hope she gets what's coming for her.
There is also the problem that if she killed him Edgar realistically might have killed her if he woke up before she had her plans in motion. Leaving him stuck would keep him out of the way. If Edgar became wide awake and well fed before she could do anything he could be a problem.
They're so good at leaving is on huge cliffhangers. I also love how this chapter in particular shows just how much Sorin cares for Innistrad after he seemed not to in Midnight Hunt.
Having watched this video, I can see that Olivia will be be a threat to Innastrad and Sorin. She just might gain her planewalker spark from this farce of a wedding and become a threat to the multiverse down the road.
I feel like she is after Sorin's blood for that exact reason. This whole thing with Sigarda is a ruse.
On the other hand, Olivia’s vow was hilarious. “I promise to consider your thoughts for a moment before rejecting them.” What an alpha female (and considering the one you’re talking to is old enough to be your granddad/is literally the progenitor of all vampires) XD Wish we could’ve seen Edgar’s reaction to the vow
I love that the true horror of this is being forced to watch when you can do nothing, it just makes Sorun more sympathetic to the reader and Olivia that much more of a monster
Olivia is the polar opposite of Sorin - the author definitely does a good job capturing both the excessiceness of Olivia and the broodiness of Sorin. Great writing! Thanks for bringing the lore of MTG to life!
Sorin hates olvia so much that in my commander deck he refuses to come out if Olivia is on the battlefield lol

Olivia is the drama I live for! The fact she has always had a “love/hate” relationship with Sorin makes me wonder how they were in the early years of their vampirism. I’d love for Wizards to expand and that more if we ever get more Innistrad content.
It’s interesting to think about how Olivia was as a younger vampire. I would imagine she was the type to start scheming how to get more powerful immediately
I personally respect sorin’s long term goal of protecting the multiverse, even if said steps was a bit “error-filled”. As for Olivia, after listen to her being an absolute disgrace of a life form, I wouldn’t be surprised if said behavior or ego gets her killed. And I for one, will dance on top of her corpse mockingly just to spite her. XD
I find it interesting how much we've seen Sorin character change over the years; sometimes a bit inconsistently (though that is to be expected with so many different writers), but this feels like some real growth for him, showing that when he is depicted with white mana it isn't solely because of his wish to keep order, but also because he has a true senses of justice and rightness. Which would definitely leave him opposed to Olivia's decadent, overly self indulgent, megalomaniacal thirst for power.
Olivia was doing as much as possible to make Sorin hate her, because she knew he couldn't do anything about it which I LOVE.
"Sorin you are ruining MY wedding".
She has this whole thing planned down to the line. It is scripted like a play and Sorin is playing his part perfectly.
I'm looking forward to Sorin having to fight his Grandfather to get to Olivia. I feel like there is not an alternative.
Also can't help but feel like Sorin's blood is her final goal. What blood would be stronger than an angel's; only the Planeswalker that created one.
I like that olivia is cheaky and sorin is like 10 seconds away from lopping her head off its quite amusing to watch.

As Edgard being one of my favourite decks, I hope that this is some sort of double cross by Edgar to make Markov again the biggest famiely on inistrad.
I used to play using Olivia Voldaren because I liked to poke things and make them mine. It was highly amusing.
But now that I'm getting into the lore, I really understand just how evil and corrupt Olivia is.
I also feel like it's a game of cat and mouse with Olivia and Sorin. They are at each other's throats, yet they haven't made a move to kill each other even when it would be so easy to do so.

Olivia has really been training on how to push all of Sorin's buttons. Really interesting to see her torture him in such an interesting way
Olivia is the perfect supervillain for Sorin. Bringing Sorin in front of all the Vampires that despise him is a chef's kiss. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Happy Birthday!! I want Sorin to cut down both Olivia and Edgar, clean house, and rule the plane he loves so much. His relationship with Avacyn carried more love than that with his Grandfather.
Sorin always seemed to be the one who thinks things far ahead while sometimes hurting the present, saving the future, while Olivia is the scorpion riding the frog across the pond and stings the frog mid way just for the fact she could not resist.
They can make a comedy show. Showing their hated for each other in funny ways

It was inevitable that Sorin and Olivia would fight, but this plan was gold for her.
I love the tension between Olivia and Sorin. While she's doing all of this for power you can tell that she really just wants to embarrass Sorin.

Sorin and Olivia’s dynamic is very interesting. I think both want what’s best for innistrad but both have very different ideas on what that truly is. Incredible video once as always.

While Sorin was and is still a fun EDH planeswalker to set someone to 10, Olivia Voldaren's debut in Innistrad secured her place as my absolute favorite vampire.

Sorin & Olivia sees each other as bitter rivals & the greatest threat to each other's plans. This is apparent when Olivia took time to invite Sorin so that she can keep an eye on him, as well as humiliate him in the process. On the other hand, Sorin snapped out of his brooding when he learned of Olivia's plans. :)
Sorin always the black sheep even though he sees right through Olivia's charms.

Edit: I feel that sorin and Olivia are like the classic nemesis who goes and messes with your family and the hero who is caught completely off guard has to stand and watch except like all the time and sorin is so done now and I love the use of blood magic by sorin and it’s poetic that he uses the blood of the angel he was fighting as a weapon

It's interesting seeing Sorin's dynamic with Olivia because he wishes he could reject everything he has, while she wants everything he has, not seeing the reason for why that level of power is horrible to control.
Olivia is like the sister Sorin never wanted. Also I feel bad for Sigarda she's one of my favorite angels
I always thought Olivia was nuts, makes perfect sense that Edgar is too....they belong together
This is a super neat story for this "block". It is interesting to get more insight into Sorin and Olivia's "relationship".

Olivia is some of the protagonist and antagonist in this story, because we all would be really excited if Innistrad stayed in the eternal night and controlled the whole plane, that's be a great story.

Olivia is giving classic comic book villain vibes, being so dramatic and over the top. It's a pity that Edward is currently little more than just a puppet in her hands... but I wonder she was planning for Sorin to interfere all along and she has some further hidden agenda, like getting the planeswalker's blood. I suppose it could be interesting if Olivia was also to have her spark ignite and become a multiversal threat.
There is no real Rivalry between Sorin and Olivia.... Is more like Olivia always being envious of the Markov power position and waiting for a chance to seize power, while Sorin just despises her because.... its Olivia

too cheeky? fine then. i wonder if edgar is simply playing the fool. vampires came about by drinking angel blood, right? and olivia might get control over angels if she drinks an archangels blood, right? well what would happen if edgar drank olivia's blood AFTER she drank an archangel's blood? would edgar become like a vampire angel prime or something? perhaps resurrect, cleanse, and control avacyn? i feel like edgar is too old and cunning to simply be controlled.
