Superman just destroyed the sun. Does nobody see the irony?
Alex Baribeault Shit, I just realized it!
Maybe it'll prevent him from coming back in Justice League. At least, we can hope (because it's now legal all states to mention hope and DC in the same sentence without talking about how DC lacks it. Of course, still waiting up in the great, white north).
Well, I do now.
Alex Baribeault I don't see it
no. without the Sun I can't see the irony

"If Marvel is humans becoming Gods, DC is Gods becoming Human."
That is beautiful.
Caleb Kopp Honestly haven't been a big DC fan
Marvel is my favorite
but that concept is true
it gives a diversity between the two
DC trys so hard to be like Marvel
when really DC ...Just needs to be, DC
it's not Marvel
they have to understand that
Marvel found a formula that work for them , ONLY them
and the formula for Wonder Woman
should be what DC uses form mow on
it works for for them and ONLY them
Caleb Kopp I never thought of that?😱😱😱😱😱😱
Yeah, if you ignore Thor. But everyone ignores Thor.
I heard that somewhere before.

Sad, but true.

Hmm, true. M’kay byeee!
That argument doesn't fly. Her mother was queen of Themyscira. As a citizen of Themyscira, Diana was under the queen's authority.
Sigh.... It's "queen of the Amazons" not "Amazon's". There's no apostrophe b/c Amazons in your sentence is PLURAL, not possessive. You aren't talking about what the Amazons HAVE. Wow. Just Wow. It couldn’t have been put better. Brought a tear to my eye.
So true.
DC heroes are Icons, while marvel is heroes becoming icon
@Black Ninja Besides Spiderman, Wolverine and Captain America..
None them have the iconic status of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
Black Widow HAD to build up her popularity, same for Iron man, Thor and many more which fit the Marvel lore, heroes becoming icons
@Black Ninja Those?... Definitely.

@Black Ninja I know that.

"If Marvle is humans becoming Gods then D.C. is Gods becoming humans!"-Nostalgia Critic
Dang man. I never thought about it that way and now I don't think I'll be able to see another Marvle or D.C. movie the same way again. Thank you
I thought that was always the case. DC and the JLA were always the role models while Marvel and the Avengers were normal people overcoming their own human struggles. Sure, interpretations have varied over the years, but that's what differentiated the two companies in the early days.
There's a great image from the JLA/Avengers crossover comic in which the two groups confront each other. The Avengers are standing on a building roof looking up at the Justice League floating in the sky (with the non-flying characters lifted up by Green Lantern). The comic also showed how different the two universes were when each group explored the other universe.
In that comic, Superman was appalled at how much collateral damage the Avengers' actions caused in the Marvel Universe (leading him to believe the Avengers were lazy and terrible at their job). Captain America was shocked at how citizens in the DC Universe revered their heroes like icons (to a point that he thought the Justice League must be dictators in disguise). Quicksilver was stunned and even jealous that the Flash had his own museum.
Overall, the quote is nothing new, but Wonder Woman reminded people what makes DC great at its core.
Sammuel Parris ten days and they still do not know I am human.
It's MARVEL, dammit, not "Marvle"
Batman and Thor would like a word...
John Doe, we all know this philosophy doesn't apply to every single hero, but the style of storytelling used to be true during the Golden and Silver Age. Nowadays, storytelling is a mix of everything for both DC and Marvel, but what Doug tried to say was that Wonder Woman brought back the classic DC heroism. Personal stories are used all the time on both sides, but we haven't seen the "gods becoming human" story on the big screen since the early Superman films.

I liked British gentlemen Ares. Its actually a unique take on the God of War, and british gentleman Ares felt more suited to delivering the films theme about the complexity of war. That theme did call for a more philosophical type of villain than a snarling over the top brutish type of villain. I even thought he looked good fighting wonder woman in his suit... the only point where i thought it slipped was when you could see his face in the armor; that was the only time that gentleman look didn't work (the mustache and armor just doesn't work well together)
him melting away eye holes with his fingers was a badass shot though
you say that but at the end it degenerates into a cgi porn fight anyway, and a really bad one too ...
but it doesn't ruin the movie

Tamara, you really put your absolute best into this, and it's one of the reasons we love you! Keep it up, guys...YOU'RE AWESOME!!!!!!
"If Marvel is about humans becoming gods, DC is about gods becoming human"
That is an excellent line, and really helps frame my perspective of DC in a way I haven't thought of.
Daniel Hadley its an amazing line, but i don't see how anyone save Hulk and possibly ant man have become at all god like in marvel. most of their core heroes are human and have remained so. and they even have their own "god becomes human" stories with thor, and in his own way vision. its a great line and makes sense for marvel and dc in general, but i don't know if it really applicable to the movies, at least not yet
Yeah ummmm..... Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Green Arrow to name a few...
I've seen that explanation several times, but it's still the perfect explanation why people prefer the company they do. Some find gods being human more interesting because it gives them someone flawless to look up to, while others (like me) prefer it when the heroes are flawed and human at the core because it's relatable.
Humans becoming gods in marvel? Tell me two examples of that happening sure humans get powers but that's it none become gods that quote doesn't make any sense
Milbox R it's a hyperbolic metaphor, not literal.
"Bitch, I am Zeus." 😂
Almost as good of a line as "let me bat-splain".
😂
Fun fact, in the iliad that is essentially what Zeus says (in a much more verbose way, but basically, that):
_‘Hear me, gods and goddesses, while I say what my heart prompts. Let none of you try to defy me: all must assent, so I may swiftly achieve my aim. ... Then you will see how much mightier I am than you immortals. Go on: attempt it, and see. If you tied a chain of gold to the sky, and all of you, gods and goddesses, took hold, you could not drag Zeus the High Counsellor to earth with all your efforts. But if I determined to pull with a will, I could haul up land and sea then loop the chain round a peak of Olympus, and leave them dangling in space. By that much am I greater than gods and men.’_
+Louis Victor Well damn...
I actually liked that Aries was a normal looking guy. It worked with the theme of the movie that anyone can be evil or good. It would have taken away a bit if he looked really scary implying bad people always look bad. Also bad guys looking super scary and tough is so cliché at this point it's nice to see one in one of these movies that looks normal. You made a lot of good points though. And yeah thinking back on it the final act could have been better. I never realized until you mentioned it that no one actually called her Wonder Woman.
I'm conflicted. On the one hand, you make an absolutely good point with this, but on the other I've gotten SO tired of villains in these films just being guys in suits. When Ares armored up, I was relieved the villain was allowed to actually look like the source material, and wouldn't be another situation where the villain is... just a dude. With the name of a character with an iconic look. But, again you're right, it works in a way of not every villain looks evil, and that the god of war would look like the actual heads of the real life war. I dunno. I guess I'm happy we got the best of both worlds here, lets just be careful not to praise it TOO much or else we'll be seeing Darksied as a guy in a suit with red eyes.
Oooh neat. I like that.
Yeah I can see what you're saying. Neither way is perfect. It depends on context/theme/how the villain relates to the story etc. Even though I feel this works; A CGI Aries wouldn't have necessarily been terrible. Nor would I have been disappointed really.
Oh god. If they do that to Darkseid...
I was actually glad that nobody called her Wonder Woman. It would have been way too cheesy.
Won't kill doctor Posion but will kill 50 soldiers before that
But doctor poison has a name! D:
None of them had names and are therefore not people.
To be fair, executing a person that can't possibly hurt you and that isn't in the process of threatening or hurting anyone wouldn't be heroic. It's not about having a name. Ares and the General had names too and she killed both. But both were also, you know, a threat. The soldiers were threats, she is not indestructible just really really strong and there were people in danger, too. Poison wasn't a threat at all at that point.
@@malcomchase9777 What about executing a person who is, and might in the future be responsible for deaths of thousands? On the other hand, if you're a soldier in a trench and there's some shit coming at you from the NML there's not a lot of possibilities you have. Surely you don't expect anything from the other side to come and have a cup of tea with you?
And the fact that the actress is a former Israeli soldier make it more ironic.
I don't think she actually KILLED anyone in the entire movie. Knocking them unconscious with fist blows and kicks isn't the same as death. She never used her sword to inflict fatal injuries on any of the men she fought.
I always like heroes like Wonder Woman, Captain America, and so on because they do the right thing just because it's the right thing, oddly enough they're the unique ones now.
Nick Clark lol true. Especially with the wave of "anti-heroes" not that I mind that trope but it's refreshing to see heroes doing good for the sake of good.
Doctor Cupcakes its boring character when superhero do because they are superhero. its like villain do villain thing because he is villain.

That Other Guy wrong sword
The last Nostalgia Critic review with a full head of hair.
I miss it!
Anyone notice how, in the movie, the "God Killer" sword was in a sculpture that looked an awful lot like a Double-Helix?
You know, like the kind you see in DNA?
...Cute foreshadowing from the props department there.
Finn Underwood The double helix is also a caduceus.
True, but with the reveal that Diana was the real "God Killer" and not the sword, I'm fairly confident in my reasoning of DNA being the inspiration.
...Unless you're trying to say Hermes is the father.
Reminds me of my big stupid DNA sword. Man was that dumb.
Finn Underwood Actually, the Caduceus staff represents the son of Apollo, Asclepius. So that could also hint to the DNA thing.
Finn Underwood subtly saying .. Corruption of DNA will kill gods creation.?
Doug you were right about transformers 5
DrViperVideos are you fucking serious? I'm supposed to see it tonight

Vladimir Sergalo ahahaha let's see how much money it makes
Jetfire48 no, I'm pretty sure they're making more, just he's not directing them.
I thought it was kinda poetic that Ares'armor was made out of the weapons of man
Now you point it out that is really clever
I thought the movie was great... right until the end where Aerys is revealed. Doesn't it just kind of destroy the entire message that she's learned i.e. humanity is not simply good or evil, but both, and that we are capable of great love and laughter but also great violence and horror? Isn't that undermined somewhat when the moustache-twirling Aerys turns up and reveals he was pushing humanity all along? That seems to make humanity victims of a God playing chess, rather than victims of our own nature.
I was hoping that Aerys wouldn't turn up at all; perhaps he'd died out long ago. Or, if he did turn up, that he would be not a villain. Maybe he could have been a neutral observer, or even a changed God who was actually trying to prevent more war. I'm sure that would have annoyed lots of fans of the character (and fair enough) but it would have been a more interesting twist.
It's Ares. How did you get to "Aerys"?
@@runefaustblack I think he just knows his Game of Thrones way better than he does DC :D
Ares didn't so much as push them into doing it, he just put the ideas in their heads and it was up to them whether they should go through with them or not.

The ending with The critic eating hand cake next to wonderwoman playing electric guitar is one of the best shots of NC
It is, simple but gold IMO.
The villain works for thematic purposes. even if its a bit odd aesthetically. If you look at the Lost Generation period of history, you see a lot of people felt that the ones who weren't fighting the war were the ones causing it, the ones deciding who lived and died, without taking any care into the lives and the worth of those people (they were worthless to them).
And then, he sends Diana out. And that's just... sick, actually. Because he knows she'll cause more death too, cause more pain. He used her for the very purpose she sought out to end. And though I mean, it might be underwhelming to see Nigel Thornberry as the villain, it was still cool as hell, for the theme and message, and for how it completes the story
also i think fighting the personified human version Nigel Thornberry would be very terrifying but thats just me
savegalkissy Nigel Thornberry LMAO 😂😂😂😂

Lol I would beat the shit out of Professor Lupin.
For me, I thought the villain worked for different reasons. As Sun Tzu said, all warfare is based on deception. Ares, being the God of War, would certainly know this best. He perfectly deceived Wonder Woman, the rest of the good guys (and most of the audience) into thinking he was on their side, and then when it was time for him to strike, he did it. So many battles in the past were won because of an act of deception that threw their enemy off, such as feigning weakness. Posing as an old man with a mustache who even mentioned "if I was younger, I would be joining you" was imo a great way to feign weakness.
I don't mind him posing as an old man with a mustache. i mind that he WAS an old man with a mustache. In his revealed, powerful form he's STILL an old man with a mustache. AFTER HIS BATTLE WITH ZEUS THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO, HE WAS STILL AN OLD MAN WITH A MUSTACHE.

Bob Jaffe I was going through a phase. (Even though the boss ordered me to kill traitors as soon as possible) I had to keep my team safe from other Stand users.
My only complaint for _Wonder Woman_ is that the film had a great scene where Diana realised that Man's cruelty is down to him, not one person corrupting him, only to have that one person appear and be killed and suddenly the war is over. Ares' plan was also odd. Why work on the peace treaty?
Ares in that movie that sort of acting like the Joker from "The Dark Knight" or the role of a Satanic archetype. He was a catalyst villain for a lot of these events, but because he operated by tempting humans to bring out the worst in themselves and giving them ideas of how to do it in a scale grander than ever before (such as the new weapons that Ares helped invent), Ares would not be able to bring such death and destruction, if humans were not already prone to corruption deep within. So what Ares said is still true. Humanity is still to blame to an extent.
The potential for humanity to cause mutual destruction the way Ares wanted was put to a halt, through a combination of killing Ares, Steve Trevor's sacrifice to stop the bomber from killing more people, and the peace treaty, so it was not just won by killing Ares. Even then, the impact of the war still had a cascade effect on future generations, after Ares would have been long gone, such as a desperate and broken Germany being more easily persuaded by Adolf Hitler, the invention of the Atom Bomb during WWII, and the Cold War that followed, where people were genuinely afraid that our nuclear arsenals would destroy the whole world.
"I'll create Nickelback!"
"No no, even I'm not THAT evil..."
Cracking up at that XD
New aesthetic: that Amazon who wore a sign saying “Different Person”
"Batsplain" are you shitting me? xD now this is the peak of comedy :3
love your vids
It works on too many levels. "You know why your movie won't sell enough tickets? Because it's not enough like Batman!"
Actually he was Professor Lupin. Way to miss a moment to bring up a Harry Potter reference
Anyone else think Malcolm looks awesome as an amazon?
AAhhh WINK!
I feel sorry for that guy. Always getting the weird parts
Absolutely fabulous
hackman669 why
Niels Hazeborg Yes.
“Symbolism. Jesus. I’m Jesus. You’re welcome.”
I fucking died from laughter.
wonder what Malcom was thinking when he did that "AH WINK~" thing.........
This was the spiritual Superman movie, imo.
That scene where Wonder Woman is told adamantly she can't save everyone, and she says "Watch me", was all the nobility and heroism that embodies DC's icon.
Doc Savage In man of Steel superman had the same heart, he tries to save everyone he can, from oil rig workers to helicopter pilots, hell even the villains say" for every human you save we will kill a million more" ,it's just that he couldn't save everyone which kinda made him seem depressed in the second film, Wonder Woman did the same where she saw the village get gassed, but she seems to quickly gotten over it in the end of the film. Both have the same heart but with different scenarios and environments
......WAITAMINUTE----I just realized your Doc Savage!!!!!
(Really ironic given that yesterday I found The Phantom and The Shadow in the same comment thread. XD)
Kidding. Pardon for geeking out at your profile.
I love this...
It could easily be the best NC episode tbh...
Acknowledgement of all the virtues and flaws mixed with a pure love for the movie and it's source that is just so goddamn compelling and refreshing! AND not falling into the dreaded pitfall of gender politics
Combine that with comedic input of Superman and batman and One of Tamara's best performances and well... Critic should do more positive reviews like this!
Wonder Woman and Captain America should have a crossover.
I agree Critic, Shaq was robbed for the role of Wonder Woman.
Cameron Goode how many rings you got, Trevor?
I had to pause the video when the Auntie character wore a sign that said "different person" because I was laughing so hard
It reminded me of the part in the Monty Python sketch "The Funniest Joke In the World," where one of the Nazi officers heard the joke in faux German and dies laughing. In the next scene, the same guy appears, but he has a sign around his neck that says "A Different Gestapo Officer." I would not be surprised if Doug got the joke from that, since he even once revealed Monty Python was a huge comedic influence for him.
Yes, you're most probably right. There were at least two different Monty Python references in the review. I also saw some kind of Holy Grail dvd box in his room.
Consuelo Higdon Me too that was awesome 😂
Consuelo! Crazy meeting you on UA-cam! xD
I actually didn't mind Ares staying as the British guy. After all, he likely changed his physical form throughout the years as needed, and it's appearance is irrelevant to his strength.
I thought it was honestly a good twist because it showed that war isn't just about the brawn and shooting things, but also about the cunning minds behind it. A couple of words here and there can often be just as powerful as physically hurting people.
Except they showed what he looked like back during ancient Greece and he looked the exact same as he does in the rest of the movie. What would have been better is that the British guy was just a disguise and his true form was played by a guy who actually looks like he would be the god of war
He looks like Nigel Thornberry
LesJosuaManga Smashing~~
I personnally thought it made Ares awesome staying a british guy with a bad ass armor.
I really don't get why people are so upset about it.
Malcolm in drag is amazing! 8D More please!
If there was no mustache and just glowing eyes, Ares would be much better.
Much better in design, but I like how his character was handled in the movie.
Yeah ares was a real turn off for me in this movie
maybe if that guy was his disguise form like it was at first and then be a big muscular guy (not with the same person used as the disguise mind you but more like a younger man) then it would make sense... but I can see how that can be a turn off...
Bitch I'm Zeus
AG101 Q
I'm guessing that Doug is going to review all the DCEU films.
i mean,?Theres no point In reviewing MCU movies, he already did that with disneycember and he has to review something Comicbooky
I hope he does the same for the Dark Universe.
You are correct, Pennywise.

So I took my mom to see Wonder Woman the other day. Bear in mind that she's in her 60's, so she's not exactly up-to-date on everything and everyone Hollywood. Anyway, it gets to be about 10 minutes into the movie and she leans over and asks me.....
"Is that Kim Kardashian?"
I may have died a little inside.
fuck... This is bad
DukeDarkshadow Idk, I think I would've laughed.
Watched all the reviews of Transformers 5, and must i say. THE NOSTALGIA CRITIC WAS RIGHT!

WW: what?
NC: damn rope of truth!
Lazo* of truth.
This is a perfect blend of light and dark (making of a movie). This is how DC becomes God. This is why I love DC.
-Nostalgia Critic 2017
Heh D.C. can't become god they are too far behind.
It'll depend on how the rest of their movies with constant production issues and lost directo.
You sort of shifted the wording a lot there buddy. The first sentence is ok but the second sentence should say good not God.
That's not what he said....like at all...
" hi I'm D.C. and I can't pick consistent actors or tones for our films"
he didn't say "this is how DC becomes god" he said "while marvel is humans becoming gods, DC is gods becoming human"
Wow I didn't even realize they never called her "wonder woman" in the movie. They could easily worked it in as joke.
Example: Damn Diana what can't you do? You're like some kind of wonder woman. ©
BAM!
Xavier Johnson I think her name could've worked as some sort of legend, a war story WW1 veterans told their kids and comrades about - Wonder Woman wasn't hiding her powers at all in the movie, and there were plenty of soldiers and civilians witnessing it, they would probably tell others stories later about a mysterious "Wonder Woman" that could fly and lift tanks like it's nothing. Wonder Woman could've been the name of a WW1 urban myth/legend/fairytale/rumor.
DieWilWheatonDie That works too. Maybe we should have made the movie.
CHARLIE (as they ride thru forest, post no man's land): "D'yu buhliv eht, Chief?"
CHIEF (pause): "After all I have seen...after all I have done...I still believe there are undiscovered wonders in this world. And this woman? She might just be one of them..."
CUE TINA GUO VERSION OF THEME SONG
I smell loophole!!
Maybe they were aware of Suicide Squad. For example "What are we some kind of suicide squad" Just a thought.
The thing about Ares is that his plan was to create an unsustainable peace, which is actually what happened. World War I led to economic instabilities in Germany that let Hitler rise to power and caused World War II. And the way World War II ended gave rise to the Iron Curtain and the Cold War, which nearly ended in nuclear war. He was trying to get create that circumstances.
Gray Maven yeah but he wanted to kill everybody on earth that's still not good.
Wonder Woman 2 as a spy movie set during the Cold War dealing with Ares plans having a lasting effect even after he was defeated similar to The Dark Knight Rises dealing with the jokers plans having a lasting effect could be good?
You should take a look at Captain America: The First Avenger. These movies share similarities in a good way.
Wonder Woman is basically Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor mixed with Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice shitty finale which ruins the whole message of the movie.
Isn't Captain America the _male, mortal_ version of Wonder Woman?🤔🤔🤔
@Kristopher Prime i cant take that film seriously the cgi at beginning is just so bad it takes me out of the film he looks like a bobblehead for half the movie
Jason then you make the CGI for it. I know I can’t.
well the chart says...
...That if we take Captain America to the 2nd power then add Thor to the 2nd power it will equal WW to the 2nd power. (a Pythagorean theorem joke)

It is interesting that what is probably the best female superhero movie (in recent years at the very least, and to be fair, there probably aren't that many) is one that acknowledges that there was prejudice, but deliberatly does not make itself slave to that message. I, for instance, never felt that Steve Trevor tried to get her to act more "womanly" because he looked down on her, it was more because he knew that if she did not keep a low profilel, then their job would be much harder.
Well said.
That's focus, mate. It's usually a result of competent people who truly like and know exactly what they want to produce being put at the high chairs, like writer's or director's.
That Tamara is so attractive.
.
.
.
Also, this is probably your funniest content yet. Every joke hit hard.
Steve Trevor pulls a Steve Rogers, but isn't as lucky.
JSB or is he?....
Exactly, well put.
Loved this movie. More DC movies should be like this.
I'm fine with the occasional brooding anti-hero, but if no one is actually heroic just because it's the right thing to do, that is equally unrealistic.
There are good people in the world, not all of them have to embody some kind of Ayn Rand sense of selfishness somehow antithetically leading to trickle down happiness.
Sometimes people are nice just because reasons. and that's enough motivation.
If you see a kid about to get run over and throw yourself across the street risking your life, it's not because the kids mom is named Martha. It's because the kid is a person and you don't want them to die.
William Brown Well put.
Just type in "Hero Compilation" on UA-cam and every pseudo intellectual "philosophy" of helping people only because of selfishness arguments are shattered. People risk their very lives to help someone, from rescue workers to your average Joe. I felt more hope in the Trench scene than I did with with Man of Steel and BvS combined.
Yeah I wish more movies got that you can have complex and interesting characters without making them depressed or morally questionable.
William Brown very well put
I think the exposition was somewhat necessary since a lot of people seeing the movie have no clue about her origin story and the standing of the pantheon, etc. It was a bit slow with the young girl Diana, especially since they give no explanation of how much time it took her to grow up.
I liked the cliched characters, I just wish we had more time with them and had given them a chance to shine a bit more. Not like captain america did much better with the Howling Commandos aside from Bucky though, so it's probable that this was an issue of time constraints. Also, it seems unlikely that a spy would try to cross enemy lines like that on his own in the middle of a war zone...so feasibility does make sense.
I did not like the explosions and CGI much myself, but it's a super hero movie, so there was always going to be a bit of that.
The villain reveal could have gone better, especially the part where he had a 1920s handle bar in ancient Greece.
The monologue made some sense since it was his intention to convert her instead of killing her.
I liked their relationship ok, but really it was all about the DC hero not being morally grey in any way.
Hated the end though where she essentially did not do any super hero-ing that we see during the downtime.
Actually, that was the very reason I mainly disliked The Flash television show on the CW. Because they retconned that his mother was murdered and father imprisoned leaving him orphaned, all Batman style, and that really annoyed me, given that the Flash (originally) never emerged from a tragic past. In fact, in the original comics, he was a totally 'normal' guy, with parents alive and all, who grew up in the american midwest and became a police scientist simply out of the fact that he was good at chemistry and he figured it was the best way to help people.
Being average is sometimes key to a hero's appeal. Specifically in the case of The Flash.
And yeah, I'll agree that having the hero emerge from a traumatic experience is a great storyline and inspirational to millions of fans who've also endured their share of adversity, but sometimes having the 'average' guy become a hero simply out of his commitment to his community is just as relatable too. My uncle was a cop. Not because his parents died terribly or something like that, but because he felt it was right to do that.
"Let me bat-splain..." Love it!! 😂😂
I want a Beauty and the Beast old vs. new.
WHO'S WITH ME?!!!
Matthew Smith Me!
Matthew Smith you have my support
Matthew Smith I am!
Matthew Smith The sibling rivalry episode for beauty and the beast essentially said the first one was miles better
if you watched his sibling rivalry you know what Old wins Instantly
Goddamn, the last few years have been so hectic, I somehow thought this film came out in 2018, but the date stamp on this review says otherwise.
Unless you've discovered time travel secrets.

"Shut up I'm being offended for you."-modern PC culture.
Yes, you got the joke. Well done.

Pretty much. LOL
Steven Graves That's why Carrie Fisher was not allowed to have "The Best Buns In the Galaxy".
Cinnabon was referring to her hair when they tweeted that with an image.

You're welcome
Robbie Comment-er thank you for this
Now all I need is the gif of Malcolm as Steve Trevor pan to Malcolm as an Amazon and pan back and my day will be complete.
The theme is actually played on an electric cello, but everyone confuses it for a guitar. Look up Tina Guo (one of Hans Zimmer's top cellists who played the riff on the original score).
Robbie Comment-er I'll be using this. Thank youuuuuu...
The queen of the amazons in this review cracked me up. XD
I really liked this movie, but the historian in me was a little rankled that they made Quartermaster-General Ludendorff (yes, real person, real rank, look him up) the main villain. I get, since this isn't WWII, they can't use Captain Nazi, but can't they come up with an equivalent instead of using an actual historical figure? What does killing him do to the timeline? Doctor Who's going nuts right about now...
I think they just wanted to have a Hitler-alike in this movie to be the Big Bad before they revealed Ares and, since the big German names in WW1 aren't as well known as the ones from WW2, they figured people wouldn't get as mad about the historical inaccuracy.
In the words of Professor Song: "Spoilers"........
"The laws of time are mine!"
Honestly you can blame Warner Brothers for that because they completely changed the film"s original ending.
Though for the vast majority of WW1 Ludendorff was chief of staff of the German army and towards the end he was pretty much the ruler of the nation.
Can you do an Old vs. New for the Steven King film "Carrie"?
Or It.
I have some good news for you, Liaminator.
Yeah, I've seen the vid.
