- After being very curious as to how the Cyclops sinks. I took a break from my series and made a one off video showing just how hectic it can get!

As I read every comment. I still keep getting comments on this video saying "I could have escaped in the Seamoth." Yes, obviously I could have. But when I recorded this I was in the middle of recording a series. So I was going to load up a previous save, meaning there was no need to escape. I did say this in the video. But I assume most people weren't listening. The only purpose of this video was to see what happens if you were to accidentally go to crush depth.

I think It was always the same as it is now, but for a month or two they tried out that difference voice instead. I know because I still hate the voice crack it makes when it says "all systems OnLiNe"

I have a challenge! Try to survive while inside a sinking cyclops. (Save the fine cyclops then sink it) my tip is to stay in a sealed room, least exits or no exits as possible.

I think it would be an absolute pain if the cyclops did Sink (unintentionally) because it’s such a pain to build

Yeah I search it up just because I think it was so satisfying, I was surprised to learn it has been replaced with a boring explosion.
I would like to see if there's a way that you could save it's after it sinks. 😂
I don’t know if it works, but maybe try the repair tool.
If you repair all the hull breaches, the Cyclops will drain just like a base does (but if you are below the crush depth, you might find that the hull breaches pop up faster than they can be repaired)
Or at least, that's what _did_ happen, they changed the Cyclops so that instead of breaching and flooding, it has a health bar and explodes when it reaches zero (also, damage has to be repaired from the outside now)
Now the Cyclops will catch fire if it take too much damage (the fire will cause more damage until it is put out) and when it explodes it cannot be repaired (but all materials, upgrades, and anything you built inside are still retrievable)
I understand why this change was made, as the previous Cyclops was technically invulnerable (and unless it was _very_ deep, you could always repair and raise it back up), but also kind of a liability (it would start taking on water from even a single breach, making it not as useful in dangerous areas), but it's still a shame to lose the flooding mechanic, it was neat
You can just save the game before it sinks and then leave the game and come back to that save
If in that version of the game, if you upgrade it with a higher level depth module then repair it, you might be able to save it
The new Cyclops voice is so much better.

The exit hatch didn't have a break you could have survived inside there if you closed the hatch
I still remember the first time i made my cyclops and on the first exploration mission i used it for i got attacked by a ghost leviathan and my whole cyclops was destroyed 😂😂 luckily i had a save right before i took off

It would be sick if one of the bosses is like a head crab and jumps onto the cockpit window in the cyclops and shows and bites the window with its millions of teeth and then your cyclops just starts to get more and more cracks until it starts sinking. Also that would be cool with the new vehicles their making

Rn its 2022 so it doesn,t sink the back will explode first but if u take a look at the back you may see the engine area broken with its parts missing so i think before exploding your cyclops you might wanna taks your upgrades with you
