When you're playing for 12 people live and get 6 million views years later. Justice has been served
This live is from NPA (Which was basically the french SNL), thus the small live audience. They already played huge venues at that time.
Billy was rich before Siamese Dream even came out. Gish was the best selling independent album of all time for a while and this was back when people actually bought albums. Hell he bought a Porsche in cash before Mellon Collie came out. These guys weren’t hurting for money.
@@user-gx8id5bl2e smashing pumpkins havent played for 12 people ever probably. even their first show. LOL
Awesome video, the quality is phenomenal. The end of Billy's passionate performance era.
yeah awsome quality, when you think about... this was made in 1995 o.O
Great 90s ... another world about music.
One of the best guitar tones in indie rock
Darcy is quite the pretty here.
She's always been really hot
i just noticed the way james iha strums and all i can say is ooof, i hope his wrists are ok after so many years of doing that
One of the few rare bands that sound WAY better live then on record. This performance is simply pure rock perfection. I saw 30+ great bands from 95-10 and sadly this wasn’t one.
The best part about the early pumpkins days are that precisely nobody except billy look comfortable onstage
This isn’t early 🎃
Imagine being in the presence of a micro-managing, megalomaniac that you constantly disagree with, and who puts you down and demeans you incessantly. Then ask yourself, would you be comfortable being on stage with that person? No. Dignity and self-worth are more valuable than all the millions they made. That's why D'arcy refuses to be a part of any reunion.
@@alexkmoz hmmm idk I heard that she was asked but they didn’t want her full time and only for the reunion so she said no
@@alexkmoz Totally get your point, and is true that Billy was a tyrant for sure, BUT Darcy was also really fucked up at the same time, so it was not a very positive situation, caused by the both of them at the time...
Jimmy Chamberlin was a pro before allof them, so I´m sure he was pretty comfortable there.
And I still believe that I cannot be saved
How can you not love D’Arcy?
Great quality of picture, Billy raging, Jimmy blistering, James playing lead...and not to be shallow, but D'Arcy looks fantastic. Cool.
0:37 start the song, you're welcome
Damn D’arcy was gorgeous
I love how Billy breaks down the song beginning at 3:37! Such an iconic song, but the variation SP is capable of is amazing. I hear Bullet is on the set list for the Spirits on Fire tour this year...hoping it is epic (and know it will be!)
Mellon Collie and their Aeroplane Flies High era was their best IMO. Equal contribution from band members and they rocked hard. Jimmy Chamberlain is a beast best 90s alt rock drummer. Him and Billy single-handedly could out-play full line-ups
D'Arcy so gorgeous...
I miss the 1990's
And when KROQ and Mtv played music.
colt45 Peacemaker I'm agree with you
Fuck KROQ. They fired Ralph Garman.
I hope their studio burns down.
SP is why all the new Generations CANT Touch #GenerationX. This brings me back to when I thought Billy, Iha and Darcy (as well as Jimmy) were the COOLEST ever in my nerdy yet troubled High School youth. Thanks for such a Great Song, Siamese Dream and for SP.
