      It is the work of skincare brand owners. They are always afraid of competition when someone kind like you is showing the whole world how to make lotion.

      1: At what point do you add in your powders (carrot, moringa e.t.c) and glycerin 2: can I use a hand mixer if I’ve not got a stick blender?

    • @SunshineSoapandCandleCompany
      @SunshineSoapandCandleCompany  3 роки тому +4

      @@ninahart7879 these would be considered your cool down ingredients and you would add them in with the preservative once your lotion has reached around 100 degrees F. I have never tried a hand mixer but I bet it would work fine.

    I have watched this video several times, I never looked at the likes and dislikes. I’m shocked there are any dislikes. Your videos are the best, and I’ve watched a lot of them. I keep coming back to you. You’re clean, easy to follow, you explain the process and benefits. And anyone worth spit, should appreciate this is your work, time and effort and be willing, even happy to pay you for your work.

      Rita Gaffey thank you! I don’t understand a dislike on any crafting video! It’s odd to me. Some people don’t like that I didn’t give out the recipe. Some people didn’t like that I used water in this recipe, etc. i actually have never disliked any video ever! If I don’t like something or disagree with it, I stop watching.

    This was a very informative video, thank you for sharing! I love making my own lotion, and it's one if my best sellers. My only issue, and I've mostly embraced it at this point, is I must be getting air bubbles in my final product. It creates a mousse like, foamy consistency on the top layer of my container. Do I just keep embracing it, or is there a fix? Thanks!

    • @SunshineSoapandCandleCompany
      @SunshineSoapandCandleCompany  4 роки тому +6

      holly powell lol, I know exactly what you are talking about! Yes, the fix to this is to combine your oils and water at a lower temp like around 100 degrees. It will become lotion a lot quicker. I think that happens when the lotion is thin and you keep mixing and then pour into your containers at a higher temp.

      The solution to your problem is the use of an homogenizer. When making professional skincare products, avoid using hand blenders, it will pump in more air into your product ant his can destabilize your product and render it useless. The air bubble can also make mould grow in your products. Thanksto Sunshine Soap for the video
