Thank you for this recipe! ❤
My daughter experienced anxiety as a young girl and with a little research and trial and error, I discovered that she had a magnesium deficiency. She then began eating foods high in this element and the issue completely disappeared. With all of the people out there on Prozac, etc… I wish everyone knew about the benefits of magnesium!! ❤

Sitting right now with my feet in a Epsom salt bath after a long day on my feet. Epsom salt=magnesium sulfate. I'm a firm believer in magnesium. Take it at night. Thank you Lea! Love you dear sister! 💕

I make magnesium spray that I use after showering. Just equal parts magnesium flakes and hot water. Works great and if you feel a tingle, it means you need magnesium!

Magnesium lotion helped my 3 year old end his night terrors. Every time he missed a nap he had night terrors, sometimes three in one night. After using magnesium lotion on his belly every night, the night terrors disappeared. It was an answer to prayer! He's been using it for several months. I've also been using it for my two year old as well. They both sleep great! I'm almost 13 weeks pregnant and it has helped with restless legs as well.

This is lovely!!! So many other recipes say you can’t use beeswax to make lotions (you need emulsifying wax blah blah) im glad i found someone else who uses it. Thank you so much for the amazing recipe and video 😊

Thank you so much for this DIY video, sis. I want to dive 100% into making my own skin products, but it seems to intimidating and daunting. I have been purchasing natural lotions and skin products from a few trusted Etsy sellers for years, but would like to try making my own. You have a beautiful way of making it so simple and uncomplicated, and I love the way you explain all the benefits of the finished product. You definitely need to do more of these DIY videos, because it is really important to start using natural products. Sending hugs and love, dear sister.

Gently warm some olive oil, and gradually stir in beeswax until it is the consistency you want for your cream. (In place of olive oil, you can use butter or tallow, or any other fat.).Now stir in magnesium oxide powder, or Epson salts powder or magnesium chloride or dolomite. Mix well. Use.

Thank you for this little tutorial, it is super simple!! Your double boiler is adorable. I love making homemade lotion but haven't made magnesium lotion. I do make the magnesium spray for myself and family, they LOVE IT!! The only thing that I would recommend is using Distilled water not any other water because distilled is pure. If anyone is on city water, definitely DO NOT use that......

Thank you for sharing your journey. It is hard, I know your pain. Many do not talk about this pain. I was there getting blood tests, pig hormones, herb blends, hormone supplements, raw food diets and more. God has the perfect plan for you and his timing is perfect....always! Continue to pray that God keeps you on his perfect path. He knows your desires. I am a few years older, but God did bless me with two sons, he healed my body. The journey was painful and deep, but I learned a lot and strengthened my relationships with God and my husband. I love my boys so deeply but the struggles made me so appreciative and have the empathy for you and others that are currently struggling.

Love your video it’s so relaxing- I’ve been watching a few other Magnesium lotion videos- the 1st one used bees wax- followed her recipe- after letting it sit to harden-
I tried putting some on & seemed like I could feel the bees wax on my skin- it didn’t mix well for the lotion. So I had to throw away- I’ve always just used bees wax for like chapstick things. I want to try yours but afraid will have a problem with the bees wax. Is that necessary for your lotion?

Leah, thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I made it today and my question is this, almost immediately it's separated with the heavier fats on top and the lesser fats and magnesium on the lower 1/3 of my jar. Is this because I didn't blend it long enough do you think it's possible to slowly melt it all again and blend it to a try to get it into more of a lotion consistency?

If it separated, then it didn't emulsify completely and needed to be blended longer. You can fix it by putting it in the fridge to chill and then blending it again until whipped. Let me know 😊

Mine did the same thing- I did a single batch- seems like the magnesium setting on bottom of jar could 1/2 cup magnesium be too much for a single jar? I did mix with a mixer- Ive tried soo many magnesium lotion on YT & they don’t turn out 😢. I’m tired of making to not turn out & wasting my supplies 😞 please help 🙏🏼

What preservative do you use because of the water you added. I heard you need to add something to prevent bacteria and mold growing rampant. Edit: i just heard you say the magnesium helps to preserve the lotion can i do the same when making a facial lotion? I'm trying to use as many natural products as possible without any harsh chemicals please let me know thank you.

Hey sweet girl? I just absolutely love and appreciate your videos! I’ve already made your face wash and LOvE it and now I was looking to make your lotion. I looked for a used double broiler. How much did you pay for yours. They are asking $95.

You have beautiful hair. Do you dye it? I am 34 and getting few gray hairs.

I do not currently dye it, no. I will be 38 this year, and I do have white hairs mostly underneath by my ears. Ever since I started taking beef liver supplements my hair started growing back in brown and thicker.

Would it be possible to transfer the mixture to a stand mixture before adding the magnesium?

Thank you sweet sister! here I am alternately chilling and feverish and taking a lot of antipyretics. Have had it since Wednesday with fever peaks of 103.28 Fahrenheit (39.6 celcius). I threw up once. I have been gluten free for 5 months but on Tuesday I tried some cookies with gluten, have you heard of anyone having that reaction? is so small right now.

Oh dear, that does not sound good. It's possible for gluten to make you feel poisoned depending on how sensitive you are. Please take good care of yourself
