I got sick of spending alot on these and decided to save some money and make my own. I believe it has backfired, a lot of my family are requesting them now LOL. I like your tutorials on making them strong, as I love the really strong scented tarts. They fill the whole home and smell so great!

Thanks SO much! This is exactly what I was looking for! Answered all my questions! 😁 In my case though, for home use I always put the same amount in my melter every time (three tabs). So I will try to find some small, round puck mold to make a one use piece! Again, thank you for taking the time to post this video!!!

I’ve had horrible luck making wax melts for some reason. I followed the instructions and every time, they don’t smell like anything. I’ve been recycling my screw-ups into fire starters for our camping trips and for lighting the wood burner 😂 Just add sawdust! After watching this like 3 times, I purchased all the stuff you use and I’m going to give it another try. I think my biggest mistake was using essential oils instead of fragrance oils. Thanks for this comprehensive video!

    • @SunshineSoapandCandleCompany

allowing these to cure for three days allows everything to fully combine and bond, which should increase scent throw. I do close mine after they set up. Adding fragrance closer to the flashpoint temp should help.

I've purchased scores of wax melts only to be frustrated when I try to pop out ONE square and it gets all mushy (and my condo is never warm). I was hoping you'd show us as you popped out the wax from the container---and sure enough--- I was HAPPY to see that it popped out cleanly and stayed intact as you broke it up. EXCELLENT. I have not had this issue in the clam shells with sinking. I have had this issue while pouring tarts. I would try pouring at a lower temp. and see if that fixes it.
