@@jediflip_313 Wow I never thought I would meet such an idiot with such idiotic logic-school force shaves kids head for no reason. Nah your just being too sensitive.
This is deja-vu to me. When I was in 7th grade the school actually sent out a letter about gang symbols/codes that were appearing on students' clothing _and certain hairstyles._ I remember seeing a kid being held at the office with a plain black cap on. Strict no hat policy, so I knew he had something they didn't like on his head. When I saw him a few days later, sure enough; shaved head. But that's the exact protocol. You give the kid a hat and request a parent pickup. Yard-narcs, janitors, P.E. teachers... plenty of hats to bum. If it's a short wait, keep em in the office. If it's not possible, then they get to wear a hat the rest of the day in class. Suspended until the hair is cut.
*"When I saw him a few days later, sure enough; shaved head."* what's Ironic is they shave your head for having a "Gang" hairstyle, without ever recognizing that the most common "Gang" hairstyle is a shaved head, whether we talk about racist skinhead gangs with the chromedome cut, latino or black gang members rocking the super short "Cesar" cut, etc. which of course means that THOSE kids who actually are affiliated with a gang go under the radar because their hair is "conservative enough" to not be noticed. like "you can't look like a Crip, so we're gonna make you look like a neonazi instead". kinda says all that needs to be said right there. whether intentional or not, the conservative attitude that schools hold about hair and dress codes biases toward targeting brown and black kids. notice how there is never a story about a white kid getting this treatment except MAYBE if there is Lice involved. instead it'll usually go down like you described "here's a hat, kid. don't come back until you got that Supercuts value special #2."
The title is outragous but the boy hairs... better with the new cut LOL What could have he do? lock the kid in the director office and wait all morning till a parent come ? They should have called both parents because the mother was never called. If neither parent could pick him let him finish the day as is with instructions to the parent that his hair cut needs to changed.
The real issue is Schools doing unnatural acts to children without parents permission. Remove the counselor for insubordinate behavior. This is assault on a minor child. There needs to be charges filed. Cutting hair without a proper license is also against the law. Kids in this case are not sheep or goats.
Read John Taylor Gatto’s “Weapons of Mass Instruction.” The public school system wasn’t formed with the best interests of the students or their parents in mind. I know the title of the book is a bit crazy, but it’s an insightful read.

No, bill, he should be facing a charge of 'aggravated assault of a minor'. If found guilty he will lose any chance of taking a job involving children for the rest of his life. The principal, and anyone else involved, needs to face charges of conspiracy and put on probation for a year or so.

@Richard Dixon barber license is only needed if you're going to cut someone's hair as your job.
*"When I saw him a few days later, sure enough; shaved head."*
what's Ironic is they shave your head for having a "Gang" hairstyle, without ever recognizing that the most common "Gang" hairstyle is a shaved head, whether we talk about racist skinhead gangs with the chromedome cut, latino or black gang members rocking the super short "Cesar" cut, etc.
which of course means that THOSE kids who actually are affiliated with a gang go under the radar because their hair is "conservative enough" to not be noticed.
like "you can't look like a Crip, so we're gonna make you look like a neonazi instead". kinda says all that needs to be said right there.
whether intentional or not, the conservative attitude that schools hold about hair and dress codes biases toward targeting brown and black kids. notice how there is never a story about a white kid getting this treatment except MAYBE if there is Lice involved. instead it'll usually go down like you described "here's a hat, kid. don't come back until you got that Supercuts value special #2."
Who do these "educators" think they are!?!? That's bullying! If a child did that they would be suspended.
correction: if a child did that to another instructor. they don’t care if another student is harmed
The title is outragous but the boy hairs... better with the new cut LOL
What could have he do? lock the kid in the director office and wait all morning till a parent come ?
I bet he choose to cut it because was afraid some white karen ( parents of other child's) migh't have seen the boys hair and start complaining to him hahahah

Preparing the kid for life in 'free' America.
Breaking the rules. Its distracting when a student comes into the classroom with a nontraditional haircut. The parents sign a contract.
@@ratherbfishing455 "Wow, this kid's haircut is way too unique! I just can't learn because I'm way too distracted by this kid's haircut!" Either way the school doesn't have the jurisdiction to cut a kid's hair and the time would be much better spent doing something that's actually productive.
