They sadly closed the restraunt shortly after this ep aired. The couple was naive and they couldn't keep up with competitiveness and pressures. I kinda feel for Paul. He's clearly a good cook, but not a great owner, and owning a restaurant has dampened his spirits. I've read a few comments and it sounds like he's gone back to just working for others. There's nothing wrong with that if anything more is too much! It's okay to play to your strengths
I agree. As an owner, he had an endless list of things to be stressed about. It really hindered his ability to concentrate and perform in the kitchen and made him depressed.
I love your hair!
@@kiiltochii1607 thanks! 😊
Yes, not everyone is good at being an entrepeneur even if they may be a terrific chef, builder, hairdresser etc. There's quite an administrative bit of running a business, not only the paperworks but also the planning of how much material will be needed, estimating the time it takes and such.
It is one thing to make the best homemade pasta dishes. It is another matter to push them out at volume while coordinating a work staff. That is what he needed the most help with, if he had the gift at all. A good marriage top priority.
I'm so sorry for Paul. Guy was clearly depressed, and simple "cheer up" or "get your shit together" ain't gonna help
This man didn't need a chef to help him find his passion, he needed therapy.

The risotto part😂😂🤣. Also, it seems the waiter is the most honest reviewer out there. Also, I feel the wife could’ve taken over management completely and allowed the husband to focus completely on cooking.
I agree, the wife did not stand up and work to her best capacity. I think husband might have made it, if she had stood up and taken some responsibility.
Both of husband and wife are just clueless to open the restaurant. It seems like he keeps interrupting his wife as she doesn't have a chance to speak up and always crying.
she supported it financially. seemed like the funding was hers.
I understand that he was rude etc... But at 20:55 when he tells Ramsay about how he's feeling , you can see that the struggle has caught up to him. The guy is probably in depression or something like that and this is why I say that Gordon Ramsay is freaking awesome , he doesn't continue the yelling speech nothing because he understood and he goes on encouraging him by saying that he is committed to help them. That is how you encourage someone and that is why Gordon is awesome ❤️

What Happened Next at Bazinni?
Paul hired another Sous chef to replace Al.
There was a boost in business and Sharyn left to focus on her dessert business, Simply Homemade Desserts .
Gordon returns in a Kitchen Nightmares revisited episode.
He arrives to a dark and abandoned restaurant and assumes that Bazzini is closed for lunch.
After phoning the Pastry chef Sharyn he discovers they are actually closed permanently.
Gordon goes to visit Sharyn in her kitchen where she is baking cakes and she is doing well.
The single Yelp review after Gordon visited is negative after the episode was filmed and complains of poor service from the hostess.
A review on Patch rates the service as acceptable and the atmosphere as not welcoming.
Paul and Leslie were critical of the show.
They told a local news site that they were naive of the process, did not see much of Gordon except for filming and there were attempts to stir up tension. Bazzini closed in June 2010 and Paul became chef at Jersey Boys Grill.
He is currently chef at Hearth & Tap Co. with his son Andrew, who is also a chef.
Bazzini aired on February 05 2010, the episode was filmed in July 2009 and is Kitchen Nightmares season 3 episode 3.

Gordon: "I'm one minute from dressing."
Paul:
Gordon: *transforms into Super Sayan* "I'M ONE MINUTE FROM DRESSING."
