You know it's hard to tell. Ramsey is a good example. Look at how he is with chefs and small cooks in Master Chef junior. He most certainly does not curse in front of his children. So you know it's a stressful profession plus financially he is fucked. But still I am most probably incorrect and he treats the woman even worse at home.

YALL LE BISTRO IS STILL OPEN AND KICKING GOOD. ALL THANKS TO GORDON RAMSAY. ALSO THIS IS ONE OF HIS FIRST FEW RESTAURANTS THAT GOT HELPED BY RAMSAY. The reviews are good and the kept Gordon's decor. Good to see the restraunt still open after all these years
The guy hit rock bottom and Gordon dragged him out of there. Sometimes you need someone to show you the door and Andy took responsibility. Not only did it saved his restaurant but surely his marriage too because he has an amazing wife. This is one of the best episodes!
this man gordon really brought the owners of the restaurant out to the coastlines of florida, WITH their previous customers ON THE BOAT (leaving them to deal with them instead of running away) whilst giving them advice while wearing crocs. this man is a legend
Honestly I think this has been one of the biggest success stories since they're still alive and going to this very day - the guy's a good chef he just needed a bit of a kick up the backside.
What most people forget is these restaurants are already failed and would most likely close very soon. Even if you turn everything around they are still likely to fail. …
A rare KN episode where the chef actually CAN cook. He had just lost his way. Very happy to hear that Le Bistro is still open, and seems to be doing very well.
Ramsay always treats the chefs who are passionate on cooking with care. The episode with idiot head chef who haven't cooked an omelette before for example. Ramsay saw the passion and he taught him. He mentored him for that short duration. He played soccer with him. Ramsay has always been true to caring for passionate chefs.
La Bistro is open to this day, with an overall of 4 stars on Yelp. They're still serving the dishes Gordon put on the menu and reviews seem overall good.
@@FishyLipz Taking all of the responsibilities on oneself and burning out is a real thing. Probably why he was so defensive :( so much self hatred that he puts it out on everybody. Definitely was being an idiot. Really glad he got some sense slapped into him.
I don't think so. if you look at the way she speaks back but when he responds with yelling she stops. She seems mentally exhausted by him. She doesn't seem scared but like i said. Mentally exhausted. Look around 8:05 ish
I don’t think so. He’s the kinda, I’m so stressed and down that I yell and/or shut down a lot. His wife is clearly very supportive and not afraid of him at all imo. You can tell when he’s complimented by Gordon at the end that it makes him very emotional but fights like hell to hold it back. She’s a very sweet wife and knows how to handle things. Sometimes arguing back when someone is clearly stressed doesn’t do anything but amp it up.
Honestly .. Respect to Gordon for trying so hard and take a lot of his time to deal with these kind of chefs Shows that he cares about us people and never have to experience anything like this again He is a millionaire .. he DON'T have to do any of this but he rather help out people

"I'm really sorry, but the chef would like you to make a different choice" If that was said to me at a restaurant, no way in hell i would look at the menu again. Andy was probably so stuck in a negative rut of thoughts, expecting complaints from staff and customers and behave to make sure he's right. Human beings are mammals with an exceptional talent for that. Great episode in matter of relevance way beyond cooking.

You know it's hard to tell. Ramsey is a good example. Look at how he is with chefs and small cooks in Master Chef junior. He most certainly does not curse in front of his children. Legit feel like Gordon Ramsay went easy on him. It was like meeting a brother for him who went astray. Same education and same background.
I'm amazed at how Gordon handles the situation professionally.
