Thank you for doing the videos on the zoom 2. Its really appreciated. The content is spot on and I know how much time and effort goes into producing such. I've just got mine and am overwhelmed at the features, so trying a little at a time and its videos like yours that explain things soo well.
Thanks for the cool review. Very nice pano shots and videos. I just recently purchased a Mavic 2 Zoom, but mostly just flying over farmland for initial flights. I agree with your comments on active track as well.
Absolutely awesome presentation. Your honesty is most commendable indeed. Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback. Much appreciated. Dave from South Africa
great vid thanks for sharing, firstly its June 2020, and I'm thinking of taking the plunge and getting one, I have already a m2ed, my first venture into the Mavic range as I was a phantom owner, secondly, I love the music you used, especially in the last clip, what site are you getting it from please, also I detect you are from the UK (as I am!) so where on earth are you now, its beautiful, you're very lucky where you are.
Sold my mavic 2 pro and got the zoom. Like it a lot more. Far too much fuss over the pro. The zoom is great. The pro is like a nice car with two many gears. Where the zoom has less gears but you don't need them to get great video and stills. Sorry for your loss.
I just bought the zoom yesterday.. I had the mini... I’m still debating on which one I should have got, but seems like a lot of people do love the zoom. But I’m still new to aerial photography so the zoom seemed more beginner friendly,
Nice review! Pretty much all the reasons why I went with the Mavic 2 Pro, amazing camera even if you are upgrading from the original Mavic! I do find that I still us the Mavic Air though lol just wish it didn't make as much noise as it does. Nice shots of Thailand :) I didn't get mine insured in time for my last trip sadly :( But insured for Christmas/New Year out there :)
You are right about the 2 Pro but thats only for professional photographers. For vloggers and the rest of us the Zoom its far more fun using that camera and more practical and less time spent for editing
Arguably the Air 2 is better, certainly in video standards, the air 2 can do 4K 60. If you specifically want zoom then yes, it is a great drone, sturdy in the wind and capable of great video. The pro is better all round, but it is more expensive, but a lot of this is depending on what you want. I just ordered an air 2 and I am gonna convert my zoom to a pro because I want that camera and find my self using the zoom less, but if the zoom function is what you want then yes it very much is. Hope that helps
Mavic 3 ideas - Autonomous mode - Zoom camera with 1inch sensor - 360° camera - Extendable feet on legs - Longer battery life on remote - .... I can think of many upgrades for a V3
@@bricktown3156 Except the remote constantly charges my phone so I only get a few flights. Annoying when you have spare drone batteries but the remote cant last as long.
Ahh this is my home. I live in Thailand in what is called a Moo Baen. They are little gated villages. There are lots of them all over Thailand. They sound posh, but they are not really. Ours is an inexpensive one, we pay about £12 a month for security and rubbish collection. We like it and I think we live in one of the better ones.
6 month or more delayed till the new goggles Racing Edition were fully supported. A shame. But Mini arrived in promised condition even. though not many features there.
Last week there were rumors about some info about a possible mavic 3. Honestly I don't believe it'll be as different from the 2 as the 2 was from 1. Main feature was Accusync 3.0, but in all reviews everybody says the 2.0 is perfect and by the way in many countries you're mandated by law to fly in the line of sight so more range is basically pointless. Personally I don't own a mavic, although i really wish I could get the 2 pro. The wife is not a big fan so I understand your thing with the lens swap :P
Most of rumors I have seen are around the Mavic mini which is reported to be the spark replacement. The spark was a pretty cool little drone, so interested to see what they reveal.
For pictures the pro hands down, for video that’s kind of more tricky because unless you have a really powerful computer that can edit and colour grade that lovely 10 bit footage then the zoom is great. Also there are more creative possibilities for video with the zoom.
The K Spot I have a zoom and a good mac computer. I can't get to the good settings. sharpness, saturation and contrast in dcinelike. so that later in post-production and colorgrading there is not too much work ... maybe you suggest something?
Returned the Mavic 2 Pro for the Zoom. Regretfully I’ve never learned how to take photos with any camera, even my DSLR, in manual mode. Mavic 2 Pro was expensive and the benefits lost on me.

I really like the music track you chose for your photos on this. Very chillaxing combo.
Steve Arnold me too. This is the most relaxing audio track(s) I’ve seen yet. Can you share with us what it is please?

Hi I live in Thailand, been a tad busy the past year but back with new content soon.
I really enjoyed your review. Keep up the great work.
I agree about 99.5% with all you had to say! It's a great drone.
What was the 0.5% lol
Great video, please keep them coming :)

There are some low noise props available which greatly reduce the noise the air makes. They are third party, but they are pretty good.

Do you lived in Chon Buri? The Moo Baan with high voltage tower is very, very familiar to me
Err yes I do
Just subbed your channel
@@TheKSpot Thank you! Looking forward for your new video

Murray Eaton The battery life of the remote of the mavic 2 is enormous, it’s like 5-6 flights

What country are you in? beautiful scenery.
Thanks, mostly Thailand, but some of it was Singapore
9:21 where is this beautiful place ??

Yes it seems the mini did what it said with out to many issues, debating if I get one or not.
