A great video mate, well planned and informative. The scraper set and build quality looks excellent, Nice to see new companies entering the cleaning world. PPE is a must, to all the younger generation starting out would really do need to protect yourself because 20 years later you'll be thankful
Great video, love your open and honest breakdown of what you are using and your plan. I am at the very beginning my journey and your videos could not have come at a better time for me nor provide me with a better grasp of the step I am taking. Many thanks for the content and I’m looking forward to seeing how you get on, best of luck 👍
Good vid mate nice and concise, pretty much everything you need to get started. That brush is solid for the job for sure, mines knackered but still some life in it. And good man about the PPE it's no joke
I would get a eye was kit and hand wash kit with the cream in the van for added safety. Also would look in to access equipment to be cleaning roofs like harness equipment tower ect... Also make a template of the blads as your local metal place will cut you new blades for about £4 a blade. I hot 60 blades made up in different styles for £50
Hi Dave, great video as always. I have a question that I was hoping you could help me with? Did you need to replace the pump in your Gardiner Back Pack, to one for chemical usage? Best of luck with your new business, I really hope it’s a huge success for you! Regards Lee
I wish you well with it Dave, it’s hard graft for the money. Mind upsell a soffit clean after the roof clean. I found the impatience of customers was infuriating as they’re looking for a cheap job with an instant result. I went with a SH treatment after the scrape then upsell a biocide treatment a month or so later then return every 12/18 months with a bio top up with a gutter clear. I’ve still got 17 clients that get me back every year to top up the biocide and clear the gutters, they get a discount for this repeat service (up to 30%)

I’m definitely paying for not wearing PPE when younger
Definately brush is the key, I've constructed american style systems for soft wash but honestly I've seen them slowly going towards brushes themselves
Its amazing how good a job the brush does 👍
All the best with your new business Dave , 👍
Thanks Darrin 👍

Thanks for the great tips Ricky. The local hire shop does a mi tower for £45/day or £55/week which I was planning on using
Got an eyewash kit now Ricky
Nice one Dave. Well explained 👏
Thanks buddy 👍
Good luck Dave 👍 The Renegade at 30ft is no joke but the weight does help.
It’s definitely a beast when you are used to carbon fibre but didn’t want to wreck any of my good poles
Great progress Dave, all the best on your new venture. Face shield for added safety 👍💪
Thanks Dave. Don't think there is room to attach anything else to my head with the mask and goggles 🤣
