Wow, im really sorry to hear whats happened to Jason. The work Jason's dad is doing is so important and should be applauded.So proactive in what you are doing to raise awareness and change the poles.I cant imagine what you and your families are going through but they should all be proud of you for trying to prevent further accidents like this.

Adding polypropylene glycol stops the bleach from drying out to quickly just saying

Gardener Poles are the best when used correctly

They are telescopic for a reason, window cleaners often adjust them wavering around away from the building because they don't want to contaminate the brush. head

WFP's don't spray mist, he must have squirted or touched the cable with a direct jet of water or the pole itself. That's how they work

first time seeing your videos, smashing job. not sure if you do this already and this may be a one off but give it a little blow off at the end to get rid of the excess sand and small piles in the corners. good job though.

Horrific, I've done these types of jobs for years and never given this kind of accident a thought im so thankful that I have not had anything as catastrophic as this happen and touch wood it won't but i will be alot more aware from now on.

Electric cables usually a lot thicker than phone wires..I hope your son Jason continues to recover…and yeah the cables need to be readdressed for safety rules.

That is the key to ri.se bars. Been making and using back sinse 2011/12. I ended up using a section of olastic gutter as an offset frame. We have these plastic gutters in the US, sort of angled U shape. Cut a piece off and mounted the bar on it. This allows me to adjust the bar height and gives an offset off the brush to allow the spray to cover the brush splay. Also a plus on commercial frames so the bar wont get damaged mashing along edges and corners. Bars, ideally need to be not straight but mounted a bit off and back so the next step in bar evolution is a sort of hinged frame so you not only have up down but back and forward. Even better if the mount was a bar clipped to it so you have bar spray rotation up and down.

I used a polish fella on my van for £50 while had a pint.
