Thank you so much! My mechanic said it was the ABS module and refused to work on it any further. I watched your video and changed the ABS sensor myself and it has worked a charm. No more lights. Thank You!!!
Just a heads up if the abs sensor gets stuck and shears off when removing. Use a small long screw and screw into the remainder of it. You’ll be able to then use some vice grips on the screw and pull the rest out.
I’ve just completed this job on our 2008 Beetle, it’s straightforward but I had to smash the old ones out they weld themselves in. Clean out the hole when you get it out and use some copper slip. At the same time I changed the discs and pads. Totally transformed the car.

Hello I hope that this message gets to you I have a 2012 Volkswagen Passat sedan also and the exact same thing is happening to my car right now. All the lights displayed on the dashboard in the video or the exact same lights that are on mine. The reason why I'm asking is because when I put that in on Google is since me to Amazon which shows me to sensors on the left and the right side
Great video thanks for sharing . So far most of the videos I watched about the sensors are showing similar issues And resolution Lots and lots of problem with the CC are 1) being the sensors 2) being the front Right tire 🛞 TPMS SENSOR 3) been the rear tail light 💡 bulbs left or right biting quickly as you put them on . 4) also my car showing washer fluid even tough it’s full . But I might have air in my fuel line cause I keep hearing popping sound in rear of car when Im slowing.. after this hurricane alot of ppl didnt have plus gas and only had signs for 'no premium' .. so we were putting air in the tank 🤦🏽♀️ for a few seconds but thats all it takes to mess ya car up in some way.
Thanks i have the same car with the same lights intermittent now and again . But how did you know it was this sensor on this wheel . did you do a diagnostics first or is there only 1 sensor if so i will buy the sensor and do what you just did there cheers
If you have a decent diagnostics kit, it'll tell you (under the braking module information). There are a few types out there. some give amazing details, others will give the location only. The better ones will give live data back from the sensor. (VCDS)

Hi. How did you make tyre pressure light disappeared after all? I did swap ABS sensor, all lights gone apart from pressure. Software I'm using won't reset it. Thanks
My issue started with a light thumping sound from the front right. It was like this for 5 months. Then 1 weeks after having a tow bar fitted - maybe just coincidence - I got all the lights as in the video. 1 month later I got a red alarm brake warning light and at the fron right a grinding noise on hard braking. I had it in to an independent who said "3 identical fault codes present for NSR OSR ABS sensor. Removed both rear wheel bearings to inspect for damage to ABS rings - all ok - check plugs and connection and wiring at plug all ok" Basically they could not trace the fault.
