@@willynanita in a Cessna the TPM is still to the lower right hand side (if flying left seat), albeit not quite as far back and low. But it still adds to immersion having them separated. I’m about to make an update video on the Velocity one with this mod I found online, stay tuned!
@@IceViper777 that’s awesome to hear man! One of my favorite aspects is how many buttons there are. You can really customize it like no other yoke/throttle quad
I got mine 2 days ago during the recent sale and here is my experience. Out of the box it was already on current firmware. The good for me, the throttles are nice feeling, the clamping is a nice design, roll has great feel. Nice switches on the yoke, the annunciator lights are sweet. The bad, the pitch control did not work, was about to box it up, then did the calibration, then it started to kind of work in one movement but in climb it would just go either on or off, totally unusable. Also the movement in pitch is binding, sticking and overall terrible, So back it goes, Im not opening this up, its brand new or probably refurbished as that seems to be common with turdle beach. I knew what I was getting into here, I read the reviews and it panned out just like they said, pitch is terrible and or unusable, turdle beach needs to do something about that...
I just made a video on a mod where you open it up and fix the binding issue... but if youre sending it back then that doesnt really matter... But I agree, none of these issues should have ever left the factory and went to store shelves.
i love your video and "hacks' lol. and i am also unfriendly with my velocity one.im really bad at setting with my tools so can you upload your custom setting?plz...
Watch out with Turtle Beach!! Customer Service is awful!!! They are not interested in helping you repair the Velocity One. They would rather you trash it and buy a new one instead of providing replacement parts!!!
Hi, I have a question, can I use the sidestick and the throttle of the velocity one together or do I have to use the yoke to use the throttle quadrant?
Hi I have this for my Xbox and I find that the pitch access jumps so much it makes it unusable. Does yours not do this. I think it has something to do with the fact that it's self-centering but applying light back pressure goes from nothing to a sudden jump and stalling the aircraft and there's no way I can avoid it.
@@nickmyatt I messed with the sensitivity a lot. Lowering/dampening it and adding a slight dead zone helps. There’s also a guy on Etsy that sells a roller contraption thingy that helps with that a lot too
ua-cam.com/video/KSnBiNy_cPE/v-deo.html You're welcome:) i JUST found this. I'm considering trying it out... but thinking of maybe stretching the springs just a little bit for stiffer feel? Not sure yet, but this will deff solve the elevator jump issue.
Great tip! If I’m flying airliners, I’ll do that and move it down. However, for GA (Cessna), it’s more real to keep it attached to the yoke.

Yes, mine does this too, very notchy. Will try the deadzone setting suggested below.
