We All Know The Turtle Beach Velocityone Levers Could Use More Lever Resistance. This Is A Good Solution To Get That Velocityone Lever Resistance You Need.
Disclaimer there are different sizes..the ones I used personally are 5mm(half centimeter) which are the most common. Some may prefer 10mm (1 centimeters) for a much harder resistance. I wouldn't go beyond that, as anything bigger isn't gonna fit.

My unit hasn’t even arrived yet and I had the EXACT same thought based on reports of too little resistance …and I already have them around…they cost nothing. Love to see it really works. Sincere thanks!!

I used those little felt or spongy rubber bumpers used for kitchen/bath cabinets. No need to cut or shape them, I stuck them one the side of the stick and the feedback feel it much better. Thanks for the suggestion.

I think this a great mod. I used a black felt tip pen ( e.g. sharpie) to make the felt pads black after I cut them and before fitting them. That way the pads blend in with the plastic imho. Thank you for the great idea. I did take the whole unit apart to see if I could come up with smt better, and concluded your approach was 100% the best!

I have some of these pads at home. Tried the thickest one, but it was not thick enough. Put two thin ones together and attached that. Works great. Mine are brown so they don’t show much against the black plastic. Curious how long it takes before they wear and the effect lessens. But there is plenty more where these came from… thanx for the tip!

Once again, great advice. But, and still, what a shame that it is left to us gamers to come up with solutions to issues that should have been spotted by the manufacturer during the R&D stages.

@@Pilot0083 You are very welcome. You put in a lot of work and that reflects on your content which is top notch!.
As for a solution, If we are to follow the normal industry pattern, it is more likely that Velocity Two will make it to the market first… You know, to cash in on those who are waiting to see how things pans out. Only then there will be a hope for them to bring a half arsed solution to the velocity one. I hope I am wrong but…..

Oddly enough, I was looking for help with the VelocityOne Flightstick-- the little throttle sliders are also too loose and move on their own. This same sort of fix worked for it, too! I just needed to shave down the felt pad a bit more, but this is a great hack. Easily reversed and non-damaging to the hardware.

    GREAT DIY solution! Nice job...
I have the yoke/throttle quadrant coming pretty quick. In at least one review, there was mention of some concern about some "slop" on the back side of the yoke...the plastic part where the shaft orginates is kinda of "wiggly" against the yoke body that you hang on to with your hands. There were some concerns about the slop being a bit of an issue when it comes to making small, finite yoke controls/movement. You notice that issue as well? Without having actually seen one of the units, I'll take a look when mine gets here but methinks a couple of set screws might resolve any issues... ;-)

Nice cheap method, I'm thinking about doing that. Now, 8 months later, how are the pads? did you have to replace them at any point? They do like to gather dust after all, or has there been no issue since adding them?
