Great video. I’ve been repairing a bunch of these for friends that have it. I have done the same thing on a bunch of them, but find about eight out of 10 the plastic piece that wraps around the big shaft right under the Allen bolt is completely snapped and that’s what causes most of the issues.
I used a couple of zip ties on each spring to snug together about 3 coils at the middle, reducing the spring strength. Seems to work well so far. Easy glide with a slight detent.
@@kimiman1597 It's just a small zip tie on opposing sides of the spring (so 2 ties), at the middle of the spring, squeezing evenly 3 of the coils together. Did this to both springs, so 4 ties total. So far no issues.
key bind it to one or two of your buttons. In my case, the two trigger buttons are the rudder controls and the two bumper buttons are my left and right brakes.
You don’t know how much this helped my family .just this one mistake nearly ruined Christmas 😅😅😅Merry Christmas!!!!
A nice easy fix. Thx😀
My Yolk arrived yesterday and I immediately made this simple upgrade before I`d set it up. Many thanks for sharing this great tip 😀😀

How do you apply the brakes with this system if you don't have rudder pedals?.
