In today's episode, I review and breakdown the FULL new episode of House of The Dragon season 2! And oh boy -- episode 1 is a banger of sorts... Enjoy!
Yes! They did, why’s everyone scared to say, it’s hard for some people to admit it.
As I remember, Luke's dragon was Syrax's baby. So both mothers mourn together in that one scene 😢

I really enjoyed it. Loved the establishing shots, and the acting was great. I'm fine with a bit of a slower episode in GOT.
Me too! Despite the fan reaction to the ONE scene I think it was still fine, even great. Looking forward to next episode
The thing I wished they'd kept with the blood and cheese scene is Alicent being present at the time. It really solidifies that her actions have led to that moment. Rather than her finding out after
I thought that as well! But then i thought this might be worse given she was sexing criston when it happened! The guilt would be a lot worse this way!

This first episode was so mid, I might not come back until the last episode and just binge it. It's still leagues ahead of other shows, but that's a low bar to hurdle lol

The thing that is driving me nuts about this episode is that no one is talking about how Larys, having replaced all of Alicent's attendants with his own hand-picked gaggle, is now directly spying on Alicent herself, and she knows it. And she has a thing or two to hide, no? Not that Larys and Otto don't already know. I don't think Crispy Coal washed his face before that small council meeting and Otto caught a sniff when he walked past him.

9.5 for me the season feels a little slow at times
I think the white worm only told Damon about cheeae. He just used his past connection with the gold cloaks to get him in the city and take him to cheese
True but maybe not, the way he talked to blood told me he was still questioning his loyalty and maybe White worm said something like “he’s still loyal to you” and he had to double check but in the show it’s vague enough that we will never know
Imo they shouldn't even include or mention white walkers. Sucks knowing its going to end in a terrible battle where you can't see shit
It’s kind of part of book lore in a way so I don’t mind too much and it was like 30 seconds of dialogue lmao

The B&C scene works well actually if you consider the outcome of the overall dance and the fact that Helaena knows pieces if not all of this future since she seems to be a pretty accurate Dreamer. Edit: I give a 6.5ish for being a bit slow and Daemond's attitude problem =P
