Great video, the music and speed of the video was perfect for me. Didn't even think about skipping ahead because it all was just well put together. Thanks for the good content and hope to see more from ya.
You can also switch the two salvage heads and make the Abrade be in slot one ... and cinch either not mounted or in slot two ... then no worries. The recycled material at TDD of Area18 is 7,999 UEC so that would get you closer to your 200k
Great video! Learned how to space my heads out! You can buy the Trawler heads at the platinum bays for under 2k/head. Replace cinch with abrade, replace the abrade with trawler.
You dont have to switch between regular ping and scan mode. But during scan mode if u zoom in completely it will only show things in the very narrow sector. So set it back to 180 or 90 then ping during scan mode. And it will show up in scan mode.
I find MIC L2-B to be really good for finding salvage, usually within 1-2 mins if not instantly after QT. It's also close to easy sell point at new babbage at the planetary exit
Its funny though cause I've used the Yela belt a dozen times since that video and find stuff really fast. If you watch my next video, I find a scrap field on literally the first node of my first scan. I think the server simply decided to be really crappy about spawning salvage just for that video.
I tend to have landing issues at NB's spaceport because it always tries to impound my ship even if I use the auto-landing function, lol. Though I do like that you can land right outside the commons despite the constant bad weather I encounter. Also I feel that the NB train loop is a rather long ride and the sound of it annoys me. Also, the Red Monster Gaming website has a great salvage cheat sheet to reference.
Btw building a tool in space isn’t really lost income unless you leave with an empty cargo slot. I generally have so much salvage extra who cares about 1 crate. It makes a crate in 30 sec in a optimal server so it’s cheaper than trying to find a store to buy a tool. Time is valuable.
I fell through my vulture's ladder and got stuck behind it yesterday. I was 2 boxes short of a full load. It was rough. I'm finding more success just watching these videos 😂
@@BlackSilence001 i had a full load and landing at Orison...game crashes. took 2 retries to get in, ship impounded, back at bed at loreville. Took 2 more tries (with more crashing and impounding) to get to Orison just to get to TDD and find the vulture was empty. sigh
@@Badkitty24 its not a bug, its a feature. xD I feel your pain. Ive put the game aside until they release a more stable patch like 3.19 or something, its not worth playing right now.
Someone referred me to this video claiming that after watching it they were doing 400k/hr. I don't see how that is remotely possible. I've been doing CL1 or CL2 to NB, since you can just park outside the domes/vehicle spawn and avoid having to land at spaceport and take a train. It's a quick straight run right to the TDD that way. It seems hit or miss with the spawn rates of panels like in this video. Sometimes it's right away, sometimes it takes as long as this video. That will really mess with your avg. time. Even on my quickest run with good time to find panels and fast run to NB, it was at least 90min or so for just under 200k(25scu). I may not be robot precise in my timing, but I don't see how much reasonably faster I could go to get under 1hr per run. Certainly not a run every 30min. Not solo. If I'm wrong, then please advise. It's also not a scraping issue as that is the fastest part of the whole thing for me.
That does seem like a stretch. But if you have someone running the boxes for you, or I have been experimenting selling at Grim Hex. The pay is lower but the process is faster. Maybe I'll have to see what my best hour can do these days.
if you get the nodes to diamonds and then hold down the left mouse it will tell you if its a rock or salvage. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't just to let you know
The bug is that your 2nd scraper will always, eventually, at some point, swap back to your first scraper. Honestly abrade is just leagues above cinch and trawler. Just stick to abrade. Cinch is tiny but efficient, trawler wastes too much hull but is fast because of it.
I have found alot of those ships you see in the belt are abandoned and salvageable. Might be worth giving them a scan to check. - Great tip on parting the lasers, when I can log back in again ill give that a go
Yes, I think I probably passed on a legit ship opportunity (even after running into two different sets of player ships), though I specifically wanted to show people the radar signature of a debris field.
You try filling it, backspace bring cargo ship to marker filled and refill the vulture. I hate that we can't place markers to get back to the good places even if it not a quantum marker
I can Squeeze 25 boxes in my Vulture last two boxes are very Jancky tho, and those two block the door if I could get my arm in and hold the box up on the belt and be able to press the machine to push one more out I'd get 26, but very dangerous those last 2 for 25, they can easily do harm if you're not careful lol👍
At what point is the extra containers less likely to bang around and cause a big boom? I haven't tried doing more than 13, as I had heard about the risk of boom.
In about 10 loads with this, I haven't had a boom yet. But I've been around long enough to totally get your line of thinking. I wonder if, as a newer ship, it has smarter collisions.
The very first time I tried over a full load (12 on grid, 1 ejected from hopper and 1 in hopper), it bugged and failed to sell. Then when I retrieved the ship it showed up empty and the TDC also said it was empty. So I've been gun-shy trying to cram more in than the cargo grid allows. Anyone else experiencing this or was it just because it happened a week ago and things were still rough back then?
Must be nice to be able to store your ship... Ive had to wait for it to kick me for afk to be able to have the game store the ship with the occasion disappearance of my cargo
BTW with ludicrous manipulation I was able to get an additional container in there, bringing my income total for the load to 184k. Can anyone beat 24 containers in the Vulture?
I tend to agree but I think it's more to chance. And with the refineries glitching away a lot of people's refinery orders, that's a factor too. When I feel like things are more stable I'll be back to quant mining.
still not know how get game is it free? or only buy spaceship "more than game" register download game. before download make sure game runs. you allready needed bought before LOL i pass! old game. need register and buy content NOT game LOL
There is a free-fly week where you don't need to purchase a pledge ship. Those free-flys happen at least twice a year. I tell my friends to use those to test their computers without committing to a pledge.
FYI, I just unequip the Cinch modules. can't swap to Cinch stats if it's not equipped.
Yup same
Great idea I didn’t think of that

I'm aware, however I have the glitch where I can't focus the radar at all, so 360 is my only option. But reading the signatures is fast.
And when you use the abrade most of the time. Just switch them to the primary option. The bug is still there but wont bother u so much.

much easier and more efficient to go around cru l1
subbed. make more
occasionally do third person view
What is a marker box how do you do that
Take a delivery mission, collect the box. The box is observable on your starmap for as long as the mission is active.

Yes but I'm debating if it's worth it, the time you save not flying into an atmo and taking transport.
