oh boy, I can't wait to salvage other vessels!! Nothing like jumping to a system to cut up a bunch of old rusty ships. Yes sir, that's my reason for being. Cutting up ships and hauling back the wreckage. Sounds like a fulfilling day to me.
Haha! Good thing you mentionned the 1.5x up because I tend to listen to videos alot quicker, but the information you gave was so in-depth. This is part of some of the things I miss from the days where you had to connect with other players by sharing this information in-game and meeting people in-game. Ugh, sorry, I began focusing on the wrong thing. But seriously, I backed your video so often because of the quality of the information you gave to make SURE I was grabbing this information. This is GREAT stuff! Thank you! Your video was one of the FIRST on top when I did a research on this specific job. This is seriously getting me hyped. I'm relieved because all I was doing was tiny little ships from PvE killing AI, and trying to fill SCU's from those tiny ships. And I cannot be the only one who only did this! XD So I'm glad you posted this video. I just found it, just now. I couldn't enjoy Salvaging in PTU because it was so bugged. But knowing you persevered through this, wow. Mad respect! Again, Thanks for the video!
Do you have to have a certain amount before you can take your cargo in? Even ship weapons i salvaged I still have alot in my cargo in other ships and dont know how to sell them🤔
i had an idea to land a cargo ship on the large flat top of the Dunlow Spaceport racetrack and instead of landing at the station, just land over there unload, obviously should close the ship and the only way people would be able to get them is pad ramming it, which is why im not doing it but trying to think of ideas, but go there and do that a few times if the server will stay stable, it might be a little faster but honestly just make a friend and have 1 of yall do cargo and the other salvage
🎉 nice video I new I was doing alot of wrong things with the salvage, no more deaths in pirates 🏴☠️ hand and taking too long I’m going to get good so when 3.19 comes il be mining , cargo and salvaging to make millions in a week 🎉🎉🎉
update . getting the scrap is better then tring to find a ship . the ships are not to scale and you do not get as much . we have been making bank in a 3 ships and a starrunner to hold the boxes
Wahow what a great content having Vulture’s hologram to show off the ping angle that’s brilliant ! People this channel is 400 subs, please let’s help him, click that sub button ! Thanks for the guide, keep up the great work O7
Hey man, Your Abrade is 100% bugged in this video, its a really common bug with the vulture and most people don't even notice. To fix it you need to swap to cinch, target viable salvage, turn it on, and right click to swap lasers while its running. It usually bugs out soon after and needs to be repeated. The extraction rate should be 4-8x higher than it is in this video, but a non-bugged abrade will almost never extract as low as .0003-.0005 even when targeting barely viable parts. Just my experience!
i think the reason u cant get massive ships to 0% is cos u need to send people in and hand scrape.. for the last pices :D this might become a thing in the future
I'm trying to learn how to use my Vulture in 3.18 and your vid had multiple things I wasn't aware of, especially the "chunks". Thank you! One question though... I typically use dual flight sticks for space movements and when I used my Vulture, I had to continually adjust the Vulture's attitude (using my flight sticks) to scrape which was very slow. How in the world do you set controls to ONLY move the scraping heads intstead of the whole ship?? Thanks!
you'll have to bind it manually to a button on your sticks, of course, but the default keyboard keybinding is "G", same as switching gimbal modes for combat. That should allow you to move around the salvage lasers without moving the ship. then just tap "G" again to gain control of your ship again
Which Lagrange points do you recommend? I would quite like a point without a gas field. The very first time I went out in my vulture, it was in HurL1 with its gas field, and I just ran into an asteroid and died. And that was after spending 15 min without any salvage pings.
@@woogle463 MicL1 is good, ive been doing it there too. The issue is, can't sell anything at Microtech right now. Won't even load the vulture's cargo grid. I'm going to give ArcL1 a go.
@@jacobliefeld9248 Nice to know someone else is having that same issue! I'm hoping the .1 patch is going to fix it but very skeptical. The asteroids around Yela are also really good I found, higher concentration of ships compared to scrap panels.
@@woogle463 I consider higher concentration of ships to actually be a bad thing. The scrap panels are what you need to make good profit over time, it only takes about 3 of them to fill a vulture. In contrast, it takes about a dozen Avenger Titans to fill a vulture.
I feel like the scanning doesn't work for me at all. I can only get the masses to appear about 20% of the time it seems, lol. Spent 40 min scanning and flying around a lagrange and found 0 salvage.
its tickles my pickle thinking about player cargo decks to setup storage wars at any station and stock pile to goods to deliver to market when the price is right. OMG I M gonna be lost way too many hours in the verse when that feature goes live.
The asteroid belt is pretty terrible, the Lx are not that great either for the time invested. At least, I have not found a single piece of salvage in three days on the belt, wish I had brought my prospector instead...
Important thing: Your comparisson between abrade and cinch is totally screwed. There is a bug which switches randomly to cinch even tho u have abrade enabled. you can see it if ur efficiency is back to 0.85. You pretty much use cinch vs cinch in this comparrison even tho it displays abrade ! thats also why they dont differ so much in your comparrison. they differ alot if you really compare those 2

Finally a great guide for beginners because you mention all the hotkeys!
1min scanner course is ON POINT. Awesome stuff!
Very informative video. It was very useful😉😊💯💛👍
Best guide yet. Quick, concise, and to the point.

WOW! Very helpful. Thank you!!
Thanks! Great help! How do you switch scrap modes? or widen the area? The keybinds are the hardest part imho.
I just upgraded my Aurora to the Vulture after watching this 😅 now I need to do 76 salvage runs (with 26 boxes) to grind for the Reclaimer 😂

I spent 2 hours in the belt last night. 0 wrecks.
Yea the reduced the salvage spawns for live build.

Where did you go to salvage in this video?
Can we rent the vulture anywhere?

Step 1: buy a PC for 8000 so you can run a stable 40 fps
Carrefull since 12 day's now the game don't work for million of players , since 3.18. I bought a 200$ ship that i can't even try
