I think part of the trick is to make sure un-snapped boxes are all facing the same direction they would if snapped into the grid. If you stack them randomly, that's when they *really* start getting jittery and spastic and eventually convert into explodium. 26 is past my limit too.
@@dougelick8397 Um I have put them in any old direction never had a problem. But yes 22 is my limit. I have had the ejector push a box out even when blocked, before I could get back there and it goes flying out my ship.
Getting 26 scu into the Vulture (not counting buffer) is possible. I find it easiest to do so while EVA. Fill the buffer and process the boxes. Fill buffer again. Open the back ramp and go EVA. Pull the 13 boxes out and set them around the ship for easy access. Process the full buffer. Place those new boxes along the right side wall (blocking the door to the interior ladder). You can get 10 boxes along that wall.. The last 3 boxes on and beside the pad in front of the printer. Bring the boxes from outside back in and place to fill any gaps. Last box in, close the ramp and go around to the cockpit entry. At the TDD it will show 12 boxes on the grid, 14 boxes off the grid.
Good information. I have an old print out of distances to the belt. I took the reclaimer out there and salvaged by myself for a few hours and made over 300k. It was relaxing. When the game is not broke I plan on staying out there for a few days at a time or until the ship is full.
Someday for sure but too busy RL to play with people, Id hate to have to bail especially when you're needed. I'm loving the tool, just filled up my Vulture and bed logged for later. Have no worries about getting pirated out there )
I have done Soft AZs like Port Olisar but I only do about 4-6 boxes before I quit because they are risky. Had been Pad Rammed on Port Olisar before. Not sure why they do it because you can't tractor but I guess you can do the old ramp scoop trick to get the boxes in.
26 can be done but it can get antsy if boxes start jumping so yes be careful but max u can get is 25 then scrape one more box that will have to be ejected after the other 25 are sold then go sell the last one. it is a pain for just $7,000 extra but 26 gives u a perfect $200,000
So far not found a thing in the Halo, only found some odd numbers not matching up to the RS sig list someone had in their video, guess i need to look longer.
Doesn’t work for me 😩. Not sure if it’s indicative of anything but on the flip side pasting /showlocation into chat from my clipboard doesn’t do anything either. Maybe there’s a setting/config somewhere that enables/disables the clipboard in game?
If you imagine a ring around the star system that's the same distance from the star as CRUL2, you can just stop anywhere in that imaginary ring, no tool needed.
Found amazing site in the halo, evertime I'm finding within 15 to 20 mins. If it doesn't divide by 2000 then keep going. I scan at 180 and 90 degrees to limit me spinning too much while watching something on another monitor. Was loading 26 boxes. Moved them into space so I could load from outside and BOOM the ship blew up. I'll post that disaster later lol)
@@Chase_The_Calm_Gaming man I’m swearing off overstuffing the vulture. I’m usually good with a few extra but every time I really over stuff I spend 45 mins trying to sell and end up losing boxes anyways. I haven’t had a ship explode though lol
@@mikeb1978 I agree. I tried again to get 26 in and gave up. Only going to fill to the maximum safety limit from now on lol. Blowing up after all that work is rough lol

Okay cool info, but im a bit annoyed. The halo should bot be between a plannet and Lagrange point, the plannet by definition would strip all those asteroids out of orbit.
Ive heard people say they can get 26 but Im not risking that lol !!
Attempted and failed in a big boom (
Yikes, 22 is pushing it I think 26 is just asking for trouble

The 3rd party tools for this game add so much to the experience, really cool community
Great little video my friend. Lets give it a go!

hey there from Canada also , also loving the solo mining salvage game loop, thanks for the video

Excellent! Glad it worked for you.
Its awsome and with Mongrel Squads call and being pirated by them which was fun as hell Im not looking to loose my cargo anymore.
thanks for this info I'll be sure to start checking here
go to new babbage, land near the "surface entrance" and then run to the commodities exchange. super fast.

Fantastic thanks! I had heard about the tool but not the /showlocation and paste way to use it! Will be trying this when 3.18.1 is out.
Its great. Bed logging in the Vulture has been working great. Cant wait till 3.18.1
@@Chase_The_Calm_Gaming By any chance do you know which bands are the best for salvage in the Aaron Belt ?
@@honey-fe6pj no, trying to figure it out but honestly waiting for some super tech player to figure it out and post it lol.
Yes Vultures are pirate bate. I don't get them asking for 1 mil when your cargo is only worth 120K - 140K. For 1 mil you can have the cargo.

Wait until this upcoming patch. Think devs cleared the belt for server performance. Doing missions salvage is the meta at the moment.
@@Chase_The_Calm_Gaming Would explain it, then i did found some massive rocks out there like 48000 which was impossible for my Mole to handle.
Does "/showlocation" only work when you're in your ship's seat?
Not sure actually, never tried it yet.
@@Chase_The_Calm_Gaming Doesn't seem to work at all anymore. At least not when I tried it from the seat of my Vulture.

I'm on right now and did it from login bed, /showlocation and it ctrl V into notepad worked

The distances are based on density. Apparently an org plotted the entire distance. You can google the density image. Cool
And Quant is not in all density areas.
