Curious. Who's more likely to come back, an ex who went straight into a relationship versus an ex that did not?

What if her rebound is an ex that she felt guilty about ending things with? She felt a lot of pressure from family as well as his mental health was declining, to break things off. It had been two years and she had a couple relationships since then before meeting me. Things moved very quickly at first and she had wanted to get married up until a month before our split. She had never felt like she was with someone she could marry before she met me. But eventually her dwelling on the past created obstacles when things looked very serious for us. She had chose me over him when we had a 1 day “break” because she thought life would be better with me. But she still had so much guilt over how the past ended and then him causing self harm afterwards. I’ve felt with heartbreak before from a 5.5 year relationship where I was actually engaged, but this hurts so much more. My feelings were so much stronger with her than my longer relationship. Understandably I need to just move on, we’re “friends” still and she “cares about me, and still finds me attractive” but who knows how long it will take for her rebound with the ex will last. I know it’ll end but no idea when. She’ll probably try forcing it to prove people wrong… anyways, I’d be open to it in the future if she could actually decide for herself that he’s not great. But she has to do it herself.

I really want him back…I hope hes not rebounding. We’ve been in no contact for almost 2 weeks. He said he didn’t want any part of my life right now and that if it’s supposed to happen for us, it will, but not now. I don’t know what to do.

Although it hurts to know or think of your significant other being with someone else in actuality, him having a rebound will help you get him back.

Hi Clay! Me and my LDR broke up about three months ago due to my commitment anxiety and went no contact. I visited her the last two weekends and we hung out 4 times. (The last time we baked cookies at her apartment and she asked me to hug her) She’s been saying from the start that I shouldn’t get my hopes up and I agreed to be “friends” we still text from time to time and she answers my calls but almost never initiates. I want to keep visiting her every weekend, she lives 5 hours away. Where would you say she’s at?

Okay, I’m not Clay, but I want to help. (How much would you trust an 18 year old is up to you.)
It looks like to me that she’s giving you mixed messages. You guys see each other in person, and to me it looks like you guys are having a good enough time. However, it also seems like she’s hesitant and is nervous to initiate things.
I would make sure to make sure the romantic pressure is low, and just focus your attention on the friendship. Of course flirt and stuff, but just make sure she doesn’t feel romantically pressured.
I hope that helps, know I’m young, but I too have a relationship I’m very serious about fixing, so I’ve purchased the new beginnings program and have done my best to learn the techniques to apply them to my situation as best as I can!

I know this isn't related to this video, but I need abit of help from either Clay, or someone else who has signed up for Clays programs.
I've been looking and looking for what the fork in the road technique is, but I only have bits and pieces of it. Would anyone be able to tell me what it is, or where to find it?

Hey, I would like to help if I can. Have you learned about the one way spikes strategy? This may help her to get clear with what she actually wants.
However, I don’t know your ex. You may also not have to emotional leverage you need to for your ex to be in a committed relationship.
It may also make sense to actually put yourself in the “friend zone” and work on the emotional connection between you and your ex. If she doesn’t have to worry about the outcome of the relationship, that may take the romantic pressure off of her, but you can use this to develop a solid connection with her without the worry of being more. (At least for the moment)
I’m no coach or anything, but I want to help! :) you don’t have to use this, and if both of these don’t seem like it would work for you, keep watching clays videos, and maybe look into his new beginnings program. I’m trying to get back with my ex, and it has helped me out SO much!
