Read your owners manual for the correct answer but my answer is I believe not. The reason for a break in on the oil compressors is to get any factory oils and Contaminants from the factory out of the machine and it pro Longs the compress life. I rebuild oil less vacuum pumps as one of the many things I do at my day job. It also can double as a compressor but I reasoning is to use it as a vacuum pump. And with how those ones work if there is any contaminats then they seem to just go out of the compressor because there is nothing but open space at the bottom of those cylinders.
