Has anyone else tried this silent air compressor? I’m amazed at how quiet it is compared to traditional compressors! 😯 Perfect for working in small spaces or late hours without disturbing the neighbors. What are your thoughts on the durability and performance over time? Share your experiences below! 👇

Sir, as a person who dealt thit water, electrical and air compressor pipes for 30 years, I can tell you that 3 raps of tape is good to seal it.

A must have in my opinion. The sílica depending where you leave need freq changes, just a reminder that you can "recharge" it in the oven

@@tekeraq hey that’s great info. According to the package the beads will turn red when read to be changed. I’ll keep and eye out for it

@@steelknightcnc I have coloured silica beads. They can be dried in an oven at 150°c (thats what my instructions said) without degrading the indicator chemical. Mine turn orange -> dark green/black. You can also simply mix them into untreated (clear) silica beads and they still work fine to tell you water contents. (My indicator was rather pricey and i wasn't gonna buy 10kgs... long story)

@@mikebirkett010 yes, I thought the same thing. I see. This in a few other videos and here in Austria, kinda like the south east side of the state. Very humid. This filter should do the job.
I’ll definitely be doing updates Mike

The silica beads will turn from blue topink as they absorb moisture. They can be restored to blue in a micrewave oven.

Are you sure that the beads should be poured into the inner tube ? Because logically that makes little sense (why is there an inner tube then?)...

Hey Hans, I thought the same thing, but at the bottom of the inner tube. there is a few holes for air to go through and by beads fell in anyways. Looking at the bottom of the screw port for the outlet air the screen is super fine. there is no way the particles can get through.

@@steelknightcnc Ah thanks that makes sense then. Tube makes the filter path longer.

Teflon tape only needs to be 1 1/2 turns anything more than this is too much

Not anymore. That's the old rule. Not all of thread fittings have the same tolerances anymore. China
