- This is his first meal in god knows how long.
This dog was found in a crate in an abandoned house. He was saturated in urine and unable to stand. He looked like he was dying. The founders rushed him here and we immediately got him on heat support. He's emaciated, dehydrated, and his bloodwork is all over the place. This is his first meal. Thank you for all your efforts. This is heartbreaking, (I'm so angry). Trapped in a cage and left to die a slow painful death?? Thank goodness he was found. He looks so frail, I hope Stu makes it. Whatever the outcome he has care, pain relief and dignity now. We are rooting for you Stu and sending love. Thank you again Stray Rescue.

Poor sweet Boy. How can anyone be so cruel and leave him in a crate in an abandoned house ? He had no chance to survive ! So very cruel ! I hope Karma will get those who did that. I am so glad he got rescued. It's going to be all okay from now on, and I hope this sweet boy will find his forever happy home.

What a beautiful dog. My heart not only goes out to these animals but moreover to the team behind saving and bringing them back. May God bless all of you . Donna is a 1 in a million... A real "down in the trenches" kind of woman. Why on earth buy from breeders when there are so many outstanding pets that need companions? I just dont get it.... I have 2 stray cats (14 & 9) and wouldnt trade them for the world. Please people,im begging... think before you buy.
Very well said! I've had three rescue dogs at all times for 30 years. When one gets older and passes I look forward to saving and giving another one a good home. I just don't get other people...... God bless and stay safe!!! Rescue everyone!!!

As someone who’s had Saint Bernards in the family, this enraged me… immensely! Every time I see an emaciated, abandoned, neglected, etc., animal on yt, it enrages me!
Special place in Hell for people that do this to Animals let alone Humans.
Some people just don’t deserve to have an animal.

You should call him St. Nicholas. People pay lots of money for "popular" dog breeds, don't do any research before the fact, then discard them. I'm glad you found him.

This just infuriates me!!😠 The depravity of people is never ending!! How in God's name could you put this angel in a crate that you know he can't get out and leave no food and water then just WALK AWAY!!😓💕 You should have to be locked in a crate and experience the day after day of hunger and thirst and sit in your own excrement!!! 😠 Thankfully someone let Stray Rescue know about this baby!!🖒Look at the saddness in his eyes!!😓💔 It was so wonderful to see him eat on his own after you fed him some!! 💖 Thank you for taking such wonderful care of him!! How do you tune out all the other animals crying in the background? My stress level has gone to the moon! I feel absolutely horrible witnessing the abuse this dog as gone through, I hope charges are laid and huge fine as well to pay for the care needed.
