- Once more, some people moved away and forgot one of their family members. He was so scared at first, and then he turned into the sweetest angel in the world. Donna always takes her time so they aren't scared and it really pays off. WE ARE FULL, we need you! Please come see us today to foster a dog so we can rescue more. This dog has lived here for a week all by himself!

Shame on those people, there'sno excuse for this. What if he hadn't been found in time? I'm so glad he is your care, he's such a sweet boy. Hopefully some lucky person will give this lovely boy the home and love he deserves.
My rescued dog Bishop was locked in a basement when the owners moved away. He was down there for TWO WEEKS before the neighbors finally realized he was in there and broke the window open saved him. He lived with me for 8 years and died at 18 years old. Best friend I've ever had in my entire life. I never stop missing him. This poor dog that you guys found today... he didn't want to leave his HOME ...where his "family" were supposed to be. If I could abolish pet ownership, I would. Humans are so mean.
Poor baby was so thirsty...what a cutie-pie. People are so cruel. I could never leave my baby behind..EVER!!
What I don't get is locking the dog in the basement and leaving it without food or water. Previous owners are monsters. The dog deserves better than that! They could have taken it to a shelter and turned it over if they didn't want to keep it. Why torment it so?
Left...door shut .. no chance to escape and somehow survive. Just think about that. What should the Law makers do about this? Just dismiss it as nothing important? We have to make this a crime!!!

Owners that abandon an animal like that should be put down.

This cruelty happens too often. How do people live with themselves after abandoning their pet. There's always someone willing to help. Thanks to these rescuers tenfold. 💖
I truly just don’t understand humans. You can see him looking back at the house at first, thinking that he can’t leave cause his people are coming back. Heartbreaking. Thank you for showing him the type of love and kindness that he deserves.
Wow! He's a true beauty! I know it's been said many times over, I can't even understand why people leave behind their family member without anything not even water! Just grateful you were able to rescue this sweet dog. It didn't take long for him to be rescued. He wants out of that dark house for sure...in the basement? And closed door! Poor sweet boy, to leave him behind like that and not even water left is a total disgrace, could they trace the owners somehow and prosecute them for animal cruelty and abandonment?! The bastards should not be allowed to get away with that at all, god bless little sweetheart, hope you found a loving home
These people should go straight to jail. Our laws here in the U.S. aren’t as good as over in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Why? Is it so difficult for someone to just drop their dog off at a shelter? Animals left behind like this just end up suffering,and starving. People need to be accountable for doing this, and Never be allowed to have a 🐕 in the future. Poor angel is so very adorable and friendly. He's a perfect family pet. So tragic. Idk how anyone can leave any animal behind and have a clear conscience. Makes me sick!
